Ok flash freaks, it's now available:

Been using it a few days now and it's worth while updating from XXKI3.

It's going to be released officially in the coming days.

Intra, which CSC have you used in the XEU package. (as in KD1, KI3 etc)

Is this a newer version than ki8 or is it between ki3 and ki8?

Ok, I'm confused.
A new ROM with the same code as an old one?
Is it 2.3.5 or .4?
Shouldn't we be getting KJ ROMs, since we are pass mid October?

I just want to confirm the Frankenstein version is non wipe as before? Also, does it have the old bootloader? Thanks.

you are wrong the other KI4 was XWKI4 2.3.4
this one is XXKI4 2.3.5

To answer my own (and another) question:
The XEU package includes the KH2 CSC file
Yes, the XEU package is non-wipe, as it's a 1 file flash in Odin (that's the quick way to tell if it's wipe or not)

Ok, fair enough... XX instead of XW. I still think is quite a confusing use of the coding, specially the way we use it here (where usually we pretty much ignore the zone code) but ok.

What's the modem version bundled with this and how's it faring?

Download and extract above file with 7zip
Open up pc Odin
In Odin click on PDA and navigate to the file you extracted
don't click anything else
Then put your phone into download mode
with finger on volume down button, home button,power off button and wait for screen display
connect usb to pc
when you see yelllow bar in pc odin come up press the start button
wait til it has finished and phone reboots
Done.
DO NOT HAVE KIES RUNNING WHILST DOING THIS

Isn't N7000B another model name for the LTE Note with Qualcomm chipset?
If so, this thread doesn't belong in this section - it's for int'l Note.

The notes from vodafone, optus are N700B so is just the firmware..
and yes this rom is GB release in Jan so nothing to see here

New ICS ROM: N7000zslpf_n7000ozslpf_ozs

Did anyone had a chance to review or it is too early?

As mentioned above:
There seems to be a different leak, N7000ZSLPF_N7000OZSLPF_OZS (Android 4.0.3) Taiwan locale. http://www.sammobile.com/firmware/?page=3&t=1&o=1&m=GT-N7000&r=2#regiona
Sam mobile say it is a full wipe rom .

Interesting to see what kernel version it uses

Downloading now, will probably flash to try, maybe minus the bootloader to start.

Please report back how it was after flashing. I really want the Traditional Chinese CSC to be honest.

Just checked. This is in fact a Hong Kong firmware.
CSC codes are TGY and BRI.
Have not flashed yet though

Looks like it has some sort of new bootloaders bundled to it as well.
I'm too afraid to flash now after my first note was bricked by the LP series.

I'd also steer clear of anything with bootloaders.

Calling for the brave people who would test this new rom. We want to check if this rom will be SAFE considering it has a new bootloader.

is it possible that the bootloader plays into all our bricking issues?

I will answer the call! (I've had a good run so far with ICS) Flashed with a repartition, booted up fine. *2767*3855#, wiped, all good again. Will post an update or two once I continue my usual setup.

Well, so far so good. Seems a little smoother then LPY, not a single crash or reboot. Looking good. Of course, only time will tell, YMMV etc etc But I would say go for it unless one of the devs says otherwise

No premium pack that I can see sorry, maybe a dev could do some digging and unearth something. 648mb zipped, 991mb extracted.

Odin PC with repartition set, I haven't rooted my Note as of yet, sorry (Probably don't plan to either)

Can you provide the screenshot of which to selected for which file?

I just flashed with Mobile Odin Pro (from Chrack 18). Injected Everroot, SuperSU and Odin Mobile.
No problem.
Installation was fast. Just connecting to Market. Will add more infos later.

[Q] GT-i9500 not getting OTA update!!!?

i have recently bought a new galaxy s4 gt-i9500 (in india).
checked online for the updatre related infos and saw update was available to 4.4.2 since mid february in india...
even though 3 days after buying it and constantly checking update OTA... its saying latest firmware already installed and its JB 4.2.2

Not sure abt this .....bt a possible reason can be otas may not update a phn dorectly from 4.2 to 4.4.2

Hmmm, I think it's normal, as we know there are millions s4 out of there, which means OTA is coming out part by part, like some user update in day 1, some user in day 2, some in day 3, and so on, because not matter how powerful server and bandwidth they got, I don't think it could possibly withstand the pressure of updating millions device at same time or very short period...

XSE 4.4.2 update. Very Nice

Found message from Sammobile this morning, update for XSE (Indonesia) to Kitkat.
Nothing in update on device however, but downloaded and flashed with Odin.
I am totally stock, no flags.
Update went perfect, and Note feels quite faster.
Very happy, Note 2 can go for another year I guess.

How looks like the theme. Like S5 or like the standart theme. Is this ROM including Air Command like on Note 3.

LOL this is a stock update not the ones you see floating around on xda where the developers port mods,so no S5 and not Note 3 air command features.

? I know that but I read somewhere on Internet that Samsung will port all ROM' s to the same or similar S5 view. Thats why asked that silly question. ?

Heard that correct ,you can only go back to 4.3 ROMs,nothing below.

What is problem with Knox?
Its a nice feature actually. I have activated it once on 4.3 and I can see the use of it. I don't really need it, so deactivated it again. No problems.

Of course. I am not rooted, my knox flag is ok. When you don't use knox, it doesn't do anything. You can add and remove knox functionality as many times as you want.

If you want s5 theme and note3 feature on note2 flash Dn3 V5 rom and enjoy.. . ......
