Signed and commented and gave a donation to keep ipetitions up and going. Seemed to help when Samsung stopped updating the behold 2. About 3 weeks after I signed they released the official update to 1. 6 when they said they were done @ 1. 5. Hope this gets where it needs to go and gets done what is intended. Thanks for starting it.

Do you guys think that there'll be a way to get this running on verizon some how ?
Simply "nope"

Not possible

Already done!
Verizon is the reason Google chose to make the Nexus 4 a GSM exclusive. After Verizon totally ruined the launch of the Galaxy Nexus last year with endless delays plus their npn-existant advertising, Google correctly raised their middle finger to Big Red this time around. Paybacks, it seems, really is a bi---.

And as a result, they will lose a few customers like myself. So long, Verizon!
Hey everyone
Well, after my recent burglary and hospitalization, I am a little later to the G Note 3 party than I would have liked to have been! But I'm here now and ready to churn out the hax
As a user of the grandfathered unlimited data plan from AT&T, I am a frequent user of the wap.cingular apn to bypass the data speed throttle once >5GB (I am generally around the 100GB mark every month)
There seems to exist a block somewhere in firmware that doesn't allow wap.cingular to connect. I'll be looking into this shortly! Unfortunately my gn3 came out of box running MJ5, so rooting/etc. will be difficult. Here's to some coffee fueled nights and likely Knox 0x1 triggering!

Would love to see this as im grandfathered unlimited also.
Ive noticed since I got this phone that im always being throttled. I called CS at the begining of my billing cycle and asked why im only getting like 8-11mbs down and 4-6 up with full bars LTE and she had no answer and said its weird that I should be getting 30+
I think att is being sneaky, anytime I get anything done at a store with my account it automatically kicks me off unlimited and they have to call CS to get it back

Hey G.
Shout at me if you need anything. I have a hookup at at$t so triggering Knox doesn't bother me one bit. I'll do what I can to assist brother.

I'm having the exact same issue on my Nexus 5. I'm hoping it's not controlled on the network end on any devices it sees as "LTE" by imei. I can still connect on my N4 or my S2 (no lte) just fine.
Whoop whoop...now all we need is Big and The Family in the house

DA_G, it would be great if you decide to cook ROMs for the Note 3.
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N900A using xda app-developers app
it might have something to do with the APNOVERRIDE code bundled with the data plans on accounts... might block the older apns

Verizon is not going to support unlocking the bootloader on a non developer device. I'm not sure the point of creating a petition.
Vote with your wallet - don't buy Verizon devices.

But they aren't going to do it exactly because there are people that want it unlocked. The petition is being directed to the wrong place.
When's the last time something like this worked?

I think it was around... never? Yep, that's it. When are people going to realise that online petitions aren't taken seriously? Only exception is if it's signed by millions and the media gives it publicity. Otherwise forget it.
All the replies arguing this does not work... Would of took less time to sign the petition.

Honestly, I don't see the point. Verizon doesn't want an unlockable bootloader on their devices. There is nothing that can make that happen. They don't want to have to deal with the support issues. If you want a phone with a unlockable bootloader, don't buy a Verizon phone. It is not that complicated. A petition has no bearing on Verizon's decision. There isn't enough customers who really want to unlock their phone's bootloader to install a custom rom.
So good luck to all 17 of you!

I find it amazing you can reply to this thread twice, with no intentions of helping out your fellow xda'er. Why did you even bother replying? It does not take much time to sign the petition. Less then it took you to reply twice, that's for sure.
There's really nothing amazing about two posts. The time wasted here can be matched evenly with, say, signing this junk.
Here's to being blissful time spenders!

I saw a similar thread in the dead Note 7 forum and I thought it would be a great idea to start one here too in order to mutually benefit each other. If you use my referral code before your first Samsung Pay use, you get $5 and so do I. You could do this until you have accumulated $200. So, help a poor brother out and use my code before your first purchase and help yourself too. My code is **** EDEC8B ***
In before it gets closed, get your $5 on with this code: 7CC9DA
