Hi, when i listen to music and someone calls, the music does not turn off. How to solve this problem? This is a firmware fault or headphones?
Sorry for my english.
The headphones are not the faulty ones i think. Can you give more details abour your phone? Rom etc...
Anyway, triy to do a hardreset, using other headphones (this will show you that they are not the reason...) ... Just do the usual troubleshooting...
where i can find this information?
Hard reset helped. Thanks.

Thanks for your time
i have exactly the same problem! how do you fix it??!
i just reset the phone with the button on the back =]
Can anyone help me?
My Athena speakers doesn't play sounds anymore...
I tried reset, hard reset and even changing ROMs, but all failed....
But the strange thing is, when receiving a call, the speakers play the ringtone loud and clear! But the speakers only work during an incoming call
This may indicate that the hardware speakers are still ok...
The headset jack is working too...
My theory is that, the 3.5mm headset port hardware might be grounded, "fooling" the system that a headset is plugged in,thus disabling the external speakers...I hope so...
Is there a driver working when a headset is plugged in? Maybe disabling the driver might give way for the external speakers to work...
Can anyone help? Thanks in advance...
My speakers are now ok....
Strangely, my speakers are now ok....
Don't install/run Xguru...It's somehow the culprit....
Hi,
I have an annoying little problem with my htc touch2: when i plug my headphones and try to listen music or talk with somebody (or any action that requires sounds) the sound can be heard on the headphones and on the phone speaker at the same time. I did a hard reset and the problem was solved, but after 2-3 days the bug reappeared. I checked some forums and none seems to know how to fix this.
Any ideas?
Thanks!
Have you tried BT Audio? I think you can find the program here in the fórum.
Hmm you can just update to new rom. Most problems are rom based.
Hi, so my probem is that when i plug my headphones to my phone (i5800) and i start to listen music, the music comes out only from the left speaker and then it will start to crackle... i have jp9 (2.2) and stock music player. i just want to know if someone else has these kind of problems or is my phone just broken... and sorry for my bad english.

Hey everyone! As the title says I'm having a problem with plugging in my headset and the microphone.
To be more specific, any time I plug in my headphones (Samsung original that I've gotten with the phone), the phone stops hearing my voice both from the headset and from the normal one. If I unplug the headset the microphone still won't work and in order to fix it I have to perform a reboot
I'm running Android 7.0 stock and not rooted. I do have Tasker installed but I did try a factory reset to check if any app was causing the issue and it still had the same problem
Did anyone encounter the same problem? Any idea? Thanks in advance
When you remove the headphones does the sound switch automatically to the phone speaker?
If it happens on stock ROM after a full reset there's probably a problem with the headphone plug in your phone. Try to clean it gently but it will probably need to be replaced.
Does the microphone on your headphones work on other smartphones?
Hey thanks for the answer!
I must admit I kinda forgot about this post but I did find out the problem.
I'll type it in case somebody else searches for the same issue in the future.
It was just the headphones. I tried my sisters' and they worked without a problem So I just went ahead and bought a new pair
Thanks for trying to help though much appreciated
Thanks for your post.
It's always nice to know what was wrong and this may help someone in the future.
