Hi,
I'm a heavy user and usually use my blade aka Dell XCD35 gen 2 as long as it can stand, in a single use
I'm sort of a junky, so i need you all to plz suggest me a stable ROM whatever base WITH MAX BATTERY BACKUP. I've tried froyo stock, cm7(almost all versions), cm9 Kang, & using cfx(tilat 05102012), on which i get about 6 hours of continuous backup. So, I'd thankful if i actually find any workaround, ROM etc to increase the backup.
Thank you

Guess it is the same to www.zteblade.eu by user kmotala or sth from modaco. Thank u. But looks likes it only have the Rome not the related stuff. Anyway I'm using it but I miss the ice Holo theme. Are there any flashable zip, as the themechooser is missing

I'm using Swedish snow for doomed time now and I'm happy with it. It give about 6 hours of total continuous backup, which is not sooooo special but it's clean and i hope that it will stay strong for long when not in use. Overall great room for a typical user.

Usually a rom has nothing to do with battery consumption. Its mostly user related. A poorly made kernel can give you band battery life though. Second note Undervolting does not yield a noticeably better battery life. It can yield coole CPU temp and, in theory, prolong CPU life. But in the end Voltage tweaking just makes the phone more stable for the OC your want to yield all else is theories and gambles on the quality on the silicon
ZTE u880
Any good site with ZTE u880 ROMs?
Who said cm7 have bad baterry life??

How high have you guys gone?
Im stable at 748MHz and 50% AHB Bus, 1hour Angry Birds and no real heat.
Tried 846 but phone locked almost instantly.
Mine isn't that great; 672 max with OC+AHB kernal.
It's good enough to make a positive difference mind
How'syour battery life?
is there a significant difference?
Battery life isn't too bad for me as I'm using SetCPU profiles to moderate the clock frequencies at set battery levels. Overall, I'm getting about a day of good usage
Stable with oc at690+ahb+hui with japanese jellyfish 6

Zte blade / san francisco overclocking
Hey guys, i have bought and rooted my new san francisco/zte blade, and wanted to know how do i over-clock it? does it require a rom with a kernel patch?
Cheers Guys

690 seems more stable and still way smoother, also set max to 250 when phone off and power save profile, can take a sec to jump back but defo saved battery.
ROM: jjf v9 btw ;-)

I just updated to ics via ota and rooted my note. No custom Roms loaded.
I would like to tweak my phone for better battery life. Installed setcpu.
Anyone can share what's your stable setting?
Thanks in advance

Not sure what setcpu will give you for better battery life. Your not running an custom kernel to allow UV. The only thing you can do is set a screen of profile(I don't suggest this) or under clock it.
What's the normal cpu level?

Base on overnight status, I am running on 88% on 200mhz. Phone not sleeping at all.
Guys, or can u suggested a stable custom rom ? The reason why i am not on custom rom is because i am not sure which os more stable. I didn't want to end up flashing my phone every other day. I just wanted better battery life, and probably some mod to quicken the charging process. I use my phone mainly for whatsapp, email, foruming. Not really into games.

sorry I'm very late but I will suggest a couple Roms. Steel Droid, cyanogenmod, miui, ultimate Droid, sourcery,

I think we all are waiting for a Pershoot kernel (keep an eye on http://droidbasement.com/db-blog/) although I have to say that I have never felt so little need to OC than with this ROM...
Maybe with CPU intensive games but I don't do gaming on my mobile devices.
yaa we should wait for peershot kernel. Btw battery life with this rom is quite amazing almost double the time the 3.2 gave, I lost only 1% in 7 hours standby. may be OC reduce the battery life a bit.

Maybe we can gain battery life by keeping a low clock when not in use...i am definitely looking forward for a new kernel as well.
i havent overclock ICS yet but i did overclock JellyBean to 1.4 via SetCpu. Its running very smooth!!!!!
HI
Battery Life is the major thing is annoying us
and a lot of Developer make a lot of efforts to have Good custom ROM with good battery life
so let us know your experience with your Note 2
battery life better with custom ROM or Stock ROM
also you can post your ROM, Kernel information to help us to decide
Hmm from what I feel are as below.
ARHD = Hypernote > Wanam > Omega
Nuff said.
However don't take my word for it. It works only for me and doesnt guarantee you that it will work well for you.

ARHD 3.0 gives my approx 6hrs of screen time better then stock but going to try CM-PA ROM when its in a stable state which won't be far
Currently running the sabre tooth kernel, runs very quick - but device seems to die rather quickly. Any other kernel that people can reccomend for the WiFi nexus7 that offers better battery life with minimal lag? Current ROM is also the sabre tooth latest build.

Try Franco.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=29990763
I'm using M-Kernel and I would say that this is a very good kernel in terms of battery life and performance, although this is not geared for performance per se, but this kernel is more of a balance between the two. Other users reportedly are happy with the Omega Kernel, its still relatively new, but the reviews are good. Go try them out.
I like franco and lean kernels. To be honest, I cannot really decide between these two. The best is to try them both. They are very well tuned, so there's absolutely no need to overclock - this is very important to preserve battery.
Anyone able to post a link to the Franco kernel? The one in his thread is not loading the webpage where it is housed.

There's also a thread in one of the subforums that lists most of the current kernels and runs each one through the same tests to rank them by speed and battery life.
M and Franco seem to consistently be the top two for battery, but I wonder if that will change if Clemsyn's is ever updated.

I was wondering the same as I used Clemson's before....was beautiful on 4.1.2...then it just gave up on updates once AOSP 4.2 rolled out.
