as d topic says i noticed something really weird on my x5 today .
i am running sbasil v3 rom currently and just checke the google maps . even though my mobile data was off and no wifi connected google maps showed my current location but when i run dzo's ics rom it doesnt show . it says it needs internet access to determine my current location but in sbasils rom its running just fine .
at first i doubted it might b some loophole or something so to be clear i rebooted d mobile and it worked again ( i have tested many times and it works )
how is that possible ??? does any1 know about this ?
one more thing - is double bootloader possible on x5 . that would me really awesome . i have seen my friend running it on his motorola defy and its great .
At this time every rom has got some problem
- dzo ics - gallery bug and random sd unmount with wifi issues (battery is awsm) EDIT - FM too
sbasil v3 - no amtel fix wid screen orientatn ( wifi works great n no reboots )
mosterra rom - battery aint that good
we can solve that by using a bootloader . what do u have to say to this ?

first & foremost...this is the coolest rom ever....speed....graphics(awesome)....but with only one problem...i cant use internet with usbcable...any suggestion...i ve been using before flashing....
Hi, I've been using Mysterious for a few months, but last week I switched to Gullums new Diamond rom (faster and cooler than Mysterious in my opinion).
Anyway I cannot remember about the internet via USB bug. I will flash back to Mysterious tonight and will test it.
I'll let you know when I finish...

I m sorry i was oversmart configuring the vpn servers and all that ...i deleted all account and it started working...but it hangs time & again while browsing......thank u very much though to reply so soon..

Hey everyone .. :.:.: I NEED SOME HELP FROM YOU GUYS :.:.: I recently bought Omnia i900.. when i checked it .. i found wifi on my main panel .. but never turn on .. when i checked into system settings and checked into wireless connections .. i couldnt find wifi there .. there was just only 2 connections .. blue tooth and phone .. there were o wifi option .. why is that .. i tried to upgrade it ... but failed because of incorrect version error ... i tried to fix it with the tutorial but failed.. could you guys please help me . what should i do .. my main issue is just to turn on WIFI..

First of all i´m a little out of it.......
At first you can try a Hard Reset......bevor you do that save all your stuff from the internal storage......load your Akku to 100%......Switch off your Phone....akku out of the phone...wait 30 seconds....Akku in......press call accept+call end button and then press short the power button.......and follow the text on the screen....or you can flash direct to a new original Rom or......but first try an hardreset......because i´m not shure with the languages....... I think for you the best choice is to flash the newest Official Rom for Pakistan.....you current Rom is.....like your phone.....from Australia.......

And my Problem is when i try to connect to internet via facebook app oder Market app it wont work... But with for example normal preinstalled brwoser is working fine.
Someone maybe got an idea?

i would suggest a reflash first. if that doeant fix the problem start from scratch ... get the hd2 toolkit (search for it if you dont already have it handy), task 29, reinstal mag/clk (whatever your preference), cwm, and then hyperdroid.
if that doesnt remedy the problem it would have to be a hw problem in my opinion.

I would get GPS Status from the market , go outside on a clear day , download agps data . and then try to get a fix . If you cant get a fix . Then , sadly to say , you MUST flash back to the Stock Windows Mobile ROM that came with the device as that is the ONLY way to rule out any software problem . If it works with winmo on , then its something with android . if it doesnt work with winmo on , then its a hardware error .

You need to set up your apns, it is carrier specific.
You will need to contact your carrier and ask them for the APN.

I try but that doesnt work, the problem is this: y have signal 2g/3g (i can recibe calls and sms even if i chose only wcdma) but when i go to state and then to status it says:
Mobile network type: unknow
Mobile network state: disconnected
the other fields are ok
the imei is the rigth one, the network show the carrier, service state is active, so basicly thats the problem, i cant use data but i can recibe calls and sms in 2g/3g
