my hd2 never connects to gps with all gps programs
i still don't know wether it's a hw or sw problem?
her are some informations from :setting/about phone:

i would suggest a reflash first. if that doeant fix the problem start from scratch ... get the hd2 toolkit (search for it if you dont already have it handy), task 29, reinstal mag/clk (whatever your preference), cwm, and then hyperdroid.
if that doesnt remedy the problem it would have to be a hw problem in my opinion.

thank you for your replay i did all the steps you mentionned but the problem still persists even after flashing a new rom based on android 4 if someone knows about any kind of hw diagnostic programs i doubt a hw problem

I would get GPS Status from the market , go outside on a clear day , download agps data . and then try to get a fix . If you cant get a fix . Then , sadly to say , you MUST flash back to the Stock Windows Mobile ROM that came with the device as that is the ONLY way to rule out any software problem . If it works with winmo on , then its something with android . if it doesnt work with winmo on , then its a hardware error .

My Diamond is on [v5]PDACornerIllusion 21042, I installed it and all's working great! Still there's one little problem... I can't activate the bluetooth, I don't know why, I click on the activation button and it tells me to wait but then- nothing, bluetooth never activates... :'( I went to the settings so I could activate it there, but still nothing... I tried it all, hard and soft reset several times but still nothing...

I'm having this problem too bro...
Have tried the following workarounds/solutions but to no avail:
- Flashed a Stock Rom, works, but flashed back to a custom rom, the problem returns.
- while in custom rom, tried flashing different Radio Roms but still no bluetooth.
- Used MTTY method (See here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=540290&highlight=mtty) but still no luck...
- This has been going on for about 2 months or so for me... been trying these methods with different Stock, Custom and Radio Roms. Could manage to get it alive for a short while (3 - 4 soft resets later...) and the darn bluetooth juz wouldn't come ON again...
- Sigh!!!!
Hope somebody out there has a fix or encountered this problem, and explain to me in detail how you remedied the problem. Cos' I'm afraid that I could be doing something wrong (tho i think i explained pretty clearly, did i?) :S

i also have a touch diamond p3700 and do not have any problem with my blue tooth
also using a cooked rom. ormet rom wwe wm6.5 standartversion with cookie home tab .
the album and video call doesnt work there is a fix for it .
find herg62123 htcalbumtp2 for the album and x videotelephony diamond swtos for the videocall .the best rom i found for the htc diamond and every thing works try it out . and it really looks good too works for me

I've tried to install new ROM with win 6.5 few days ago. So I've update my radio rom at the same time with the version 1.59.46.12.
No problem with the installation, everything seems to work fine...
But since, I've got trouble with my 3G connection... If I stay in EDGE everything work fine, it connect to internet etc.
But as soon as I have an HSDPA connection, I lost network connection and I never get it again... I have to turn manually in GSM mode only to get a signal again...
I've tried radio 1.65.30.09 but it's the same thing and I've downgraded to the win 6.1 3Lit3 VIII and I've got the same
I don't know what to do... I've got the right radio version for the ROMs I've tried so I think it'll be stupid to try a 1.58xx or 1.64xx but I have no other idea :/ Maybe I'll tried this tonight but with no much hope...
I'll tried again with an other ROM too, but if you have an other idea, I'll take it...

Install your original rom and try again. Downgrade your radio first to 1.59.xx.

This is strange ..maybe your gsm provider has the problem..It happens some times.
Hum, yes but I've tried in different places and I have the problem for few days now It's a long time for a provider problem I think.
May the flash of the radio break something? Like the 3G receiver in the phone? :/ I don't know, I have no much knowledge in this domain...
Or maybe it's the sim card? I will try to find an other sim today to try with it...

Reinstalling the official ROM and associated radio of my provider (orange) doesn't change anything...

I had exactly the same problem.
I'm sorry to say this, but the only way to fix it is by replacing the motherboard.
Don' t spend any more time flashing roms or radios, it's useless.
You should find those guaranty papers as soon as possible.
They replaced mine with no cost.
Remember to remove hard-spl and then
flash original rom before visitng service point !!

I'd like to add, the Polaris has a very weak gsm antenna. I've done a test, with all possible radios on my polaris i get max 3 bars and a GPRS icon. While on the exact same spot, when starting up my nokia 5800 XM gets full bars and 3.75G.

suddenly my GPS is not working anymore. Can enable GPS and it says it is ok. But when i want use Google Maps, or navigation program the icon in taskbar is not there anymore.
Did try GPS Status, nothing....
Did a fresh rom install and wipe everything i can wipe.. nothing not working.
now i want to know is there a tool or adb option to test the hardware if this is still working.... (maybe GPS is broken)

Did a RADIO rom flash with the one i already had on my HTC... and problem solved....
Still wondering how it can happen that maybe the radio rom was getting crazy...
had the same problem two days ago, same solution... same no idea for the cause
this kind of strange things was my idea only for windows... suddenly it is not working anymore.. But.. Solve this problem was mutch easier haha
This seems to happen whenever you flash a 2.1 ROM. Even going back to 1.5 doesn't fix the problem and a new radio flash is required.

Every now and then manufacturers like HTC will release an update to radio which controls your wifi, data, blutooth. If your current radio is having problems, you will need to update it. Most of the time new radio is included with the update but you can Google individual files as well, hope this explains

I have a problem. I try to install Android (SD or NAND - I think over 20 versions), and I succeed, but I have few problems. The main problems are the G-Sensor ( I can live without this) and the proximity sensor (this is a pain in the %$#). If I try to keep the phone with my shoulder, i activate speaker or something else...
Doesn't matter which kind of installing I do (SD or NAND), this are permanent issues. The worst thing is that in windows all of them are working. I tried to install few programs from the Market, but nothing worked. And Teeter tell me that I don't have a G-sensor ...
It's a problem with the hardware drivers, or is about something else ?

There are some problems related to the hardware like the slow resume from suspend or the slow proximity sensor response when in phone call.
Which build have you tried. Rafdroid's and imilka's are most stable for me and there are no problems with the g-sensor. Don't get carried away from ambitious state of the art ROMs. Just use a stable one.

Phone was bought from Vodafone shop, so is not a fake HTC or a clone ... Everything work perfect in WM 6.1, but I hate the keyboard, and that's way I want a Android ..
Can somebody give me a clue ?

T8585 are EU Version and even if it was T-Mo your problem is not related to that.
I can't think of a reason why g-sensor and proximity are not working.
You have newest Radio?
Partition layouts are correct for each ROM you are using?
differences of the EU and TMOUS ver
the TMOUS had colored send and end keys green and red the eu verison does not and i suggest u flash the newest radio also

Buttons are not colored ... So I think is eu version ... But accelerometer and proximity sensor don't work in Android. Windows is ok ...

Partitions are OK. Everything is working, except proximity and G-sensor ... About the radio, I tried few of the latest radios, and result is the same....
I treble my device and after a long time the camera stops working, so I decide try an other rom I try Miui 7 so I untreble my device and install, the gps problems starts in MIUI 7 so I install after 2 weeks Pixel Exprience the gps works better but dont work like when I install android P port with treble.
Sorry for my bad english.
Why not just use the correct ROM for your phone if you want everything to work as it should?

Hi. I am also have a issue with GPS after security update at Nov 1st. Before updating, the phone had a issue with GPS sometime. But the issue is huge happened after latest updating.
I tried to find a information for clearing the issue and then applied at my phone based on web information such as remove the data at google services framework. but it couldn't to solve it.
my GPS is not working properly either.
