i have one i mate jam , i upgraded its rom to 1.12.00 wwe
after sucessful process , i resetted my jam , for some hours it worked ok, then when i played video on it set gone auto shut, then again i powered up and was ok , though its video is courpt, but again when a call ring as i picked up phones gone off,
and now phones give me same eror,
when ever it want it goes to off, battery is okay 100% becoz it was working before update , backcover sencor is also ok,
so guys what is problem plz help me ,,

cant say much but the simplest thing to try is to reflash ur set ( maybe something got corrut) just reflash it like u did the first time and then see if the problem is stil there

i flash my 9100 , but it stop a 96%
i am waiting for 40 minutes , but not advanced, i shutdown the phone and unplug usb to retry.
now when i power up the phone, i have the 3 colored bar screen , and ipl2.17 spl 2.17 writed on red bar , and RUU at the top left of the screen.
when i plug usb, it write usb at bottom screen.
but all rom upgrade utility can't detect my phone
how can i reflash it ?
some one can help me ?

it start ( yessss!!! ) ...
... but it lock on 94%.
it is normal ?
update is for 10 minute no ? why it block on my device ?

Most likely you haven't unlocked the phone properly.

( RUU_Prodigy_2080702_102_11310_QTEK_FRA_Test.exe )
did u know if it exit a newer french version ( with somes add ons like molky version ?

I don't know if a newer French version exists but I wouldn't be surprised if one did. Perhaps someone else will have the answer to your question.

My problem its goin me crazy..
Cause I have a Diamond, works perfect, and my friends have a ELf, and told me she having some problems with the phone cause, when she turn it on works perfect but dont receving any calls or something like this.
Just the cellphone works perfect but she cant make and receving calls or msg anyway...
I know the cellphone its original, so I think i gonna update de signed RUU .. and I think gonna be better, so I make this.. update perfectly and now Im using a ROM : [05 Dec 2009] [ROM] WM 6.5 21876 + M2D 2.0 + Default WM 6.5 CHome
So the new ROM found my OPERATOR NETWORK, install and tell me to restar the phone, I make this so when turn it on again, my network can't be found... the signal, always try to find and nothing...
In older version appear a msg: "We have problem to connect to your network Wanna found a new one? If not try to update your system"
Something like this, just found crazy operators, cause im from Brazil and only if find a operator, its TIM / OI / VIVO / CLARO
no exist any others.. just this .. and I try with TIM chip and OI chip (chip = SID)
And apper the same error now on New version using new rom?!
Somebody knows how i fix that? Just need connect to local network of my operator ?!?! all the rest from cellphone works perfect..

Have read so much, but I just don't get it
Have tried many combinations ROM'S , SPL , IPL , radios .. everything !
But still My phone won't see my local network ( roamming ) ..
Phone in Comm Manager keeps turning on and off , trying to catch the network .. this happens with all the roms I have tried ... including the original ROM and radio
When I put the sim card in .. phone says that its not possible to register my network , and if I want to set another operator ..
Someone with a clue ??? Is it possible to be a hardware issue

I'm not really ana expert.. but maybe your device isn't SIM-Unlocked.. check this to unlock it..

Yes , but maybe its lock in a "wierd" way ...
Cause when I have seen SIM lock devices ... It's a different story and in most cases you get SIM not recognized Alert or something like that ...
Gonna give it a try ...

This generates an unlock code ( wich I have ) but I'm never ask to type it ..
Another possibility, the device was stolen or lost and it's network locked.
a similar problem happened to me also ... it was the problem with the sim card.. i changed the sim its fine now... why not u try that.. know not this is the solution but u can give it a try..

The phone (radio) keeps turning on and off ( COMM MANAGER ) .. I dont mean mean the hardware ..!

I have this problem too. Selecting the network manually helped a little bit, but not completely

i get the same problem tbh, and i use 2 sims, one i can check the status of in at work (work for a big UK mobile phone network)
i think it is something to do with the radio version, cos i use 3.34.90 aswell and thats when the problems started for me i believe
have u tried downgrading the radio version?
as this seemed to work with me
it may also bve a good idea to check with your network carrier to see if there are any cell mast issues as that could be a cause.
(sorry in work mode now lmao)
hi, i had the same problem. first i couldnt write contacts on sim, then losses of signal, but sudden, i lost all signal.
i replace the sim an now works fine.
try to clean the phone, in the inside, it has some contacts to the antenna. i did it and work fine.
replace with new battery

try to run ´deviceinfo´ package that´s here ... somewhere.
if it shows mcc+mnc info empty than it´s not unlocked
read more to find how you could unlock your phone in this case

Yes, u should try device info if it shows mcc+mnc info empty than it´s not unlocked
if not than
can u tell me ur radio version (i.e.) 3.34.90 is come with handset or u upgraded
if u upgraded than downgrade to 3.21.90
3.21.90 has no bugs a good one i have also downgraded to it

where is this info for when mcc and mnc are populated with no radio signal - this would really help (Sorry If I am being lzy and not searching - I may do later but football is on!)
as d topic says i noticed something really weird on my x5 today .
i am running sbasil v3 rom currently and just checke the google maps . even though my mobile data was off and no wifi connected google maps showed my current location but when i run dzo's ics rom it doesnt show . it says it needs internet access to determine my current location but in sbasils rom its running just fine .
at first i doubted it might b some loophole or something so to be clear i rebooted d mobile and it worked again ( i have tested many times and it works )
how is that possible ??? does any1 know about this ?
one more thing - is double bootloader possible on x5 . that would me really awesome . i have seen my friend running it on his motorola defy and its great .
At this time every rom has got some problem
- dzo ics - gallery bug and random sd unmount with wifi issues (battery is awsm) EDIT - FM too
sbasil v3 - no amtel fix wid screen orientatn ( wifi works great n no reboots )
mosterra rom - battery aint that good
we can solve that by using a bootloader . what do u have to say to this ?
