Its only for the Galaxy Nexus version of ICS. If you want the APK, Tell me. I have access to a Rooted Gnexus. I've tried it on the Regular GB - Note. With that Black banding issue on the NOTE, It looks ugly as hell.
Or use CyanogenMod 9.
.... And what about panorama camera ?
arg... how come it's not there either !!!!
Stock File from the GNexus. Give it a try ;-)
not working...
But do you know how come panorama camera is not there ?

NOTE THIS ONLY WORKS ON THE OVERCOME HERMES AND GOLD ROMS IT DOES NOT WORK ON STOCK GINGERBREAD YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED
UPDATE okay guys i have been doing some testing for those of you who were having problem with the 182dpi settings with black line through the middle on this latest Hermes v2.01 here is the best soulotion. Note before you do this i recomend you use root explorer and back up the stock home launcher from system/apps its called Touchwiz home launcher if you want to revert back to stock you need to replace this file back there i have included a zip file below of the original stock launcher.
step 1) Download the Overcome v2.0.1 stock theme patch here http://overcome.mimzo.com/?page_id=558
step 2) Apply the patch with recovery install zp from sd card and reboot.
step 3) Change your resolution via system/build.prop and edit the line LCD density change from 240 to 182 save and exit this is using root explorer (COPY YOUR ORIGINAL BUILD.PROP FILE TO SD)
step 4) Download TouchWiz4 for Gingerbread Tab here (Make sure you download the 182dpi one) http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1077641 and install the zip file again via recovery after that wipe dalvik catch and reboot.
step 5) Now you will have a brilliant 182 dpi screen resoulotion with no lines and using the samsung galaxy s2 touchwiz launcher i hope you like this tutorial please hit the thanks button if it helped you.

Great work. Using this method now and I love the smaller resolution... Question though. Would say Koshs theme flash onto this without issue? Our would requesting a 182 dpi version from him be the way to go?

hey guys, here i am to share with you something we all have missed on every single kitkat rom of ours till date!!!
just had some free time so thought why dont try to extract and bring camera(photosphere working ) and make everybody smile...
i have attached apk and lib files (by me ) simply install apk normally..its just camera apk (as kitkat has camera and gallery as 2 diffrnt apks)
..install apk normally and flash the zip i have provided
and viola!!!!!
everything working perfect !!!
if u want anything !!! just request me.. i ll try to bring it for u (no illogical things though )
this is my second post share after google dialer... hope u all like it !!!!!
(PS- u can try under 4.4 too, i havent tryd on those versions)
USING CM11(pawitp the great ) AND WORKS LIKE CHARM
HOPE I HELPED :fingers-crossed::victory::victory:
EDIT: only 1 bug is that u cant play video from camera app as the camera app which already exists is integrated with gallery!! so if u take a video and after that u swipe left in camera and click on video to play..it will say it cant play...
GOOD THINGS/CHANGES
1.ths picture qualities are a bit better
2. when in inbuild camera, u speedly double tab to zoom..after dat wen u speedly double tab to zoom out, transition is very slacky and weird(i first thot it is lagging ), but in this...everything is fine.....
report bugs if something wrong happens....
HOPE I HELPED..SORRY FOR BUGS GUYS
This works like a charm on my i9100 SlimKat Build 3. The only issue so far's that photosphere doesn't work properly in landscape mode, but you can "fix" this by disabling autorotation.
Thank you!
Good share bro, but this should be posted in themes and apps section.

Well is this coming from a note3 or note4 ?
I'm looking to get this on a note *3*
It has been on our Note 3 officially for a while. Update your firmware.
I have it on my Note 3; used it a few times. Here's my camera apk and the lib file. Drop the lib file in system/lib and push the camera apk to system/app and set permissions. If it doesn't work, let me know and I'll see if I can find any other files that might be needed. The included lib was the only obvious one I saw, though.

Edit: forgot the Virtual Tour Viewer app. Push to system/priv-app and set permissions.

Can it co exist with the current camera apk ?
Or should I back up (how ?) the current camera app that I have ?
EDIT : I got a crash "Set Default Layout" when I try to use the virtual tour mode from the camera app :/
When you say to set permissions, its just changing the rwxrwxrwx to rw-r-r right ?

You're right about the permissions, but it should replace your current camera, as they should both be named SamsungCamera2.apk. There may be other lib files required, but as I said, that was the only obvious one that stood out to me. Give me a while and I'll see what else j can come up with.

Actually it's OK now.
I've upgraded my X-NOTE rom v15 to 21. The camera app now has all the features
Thx anyway
Hi all, how to view virtual tour my computer ?
Can someone please share the apk for Surround Shot as well?
Kitkat version
Thanks
? Can I ask to the developers why should camera centric smartphone loss his efficient points only for better performance...I personally begging to the developers to build a ROM...with a similar camera specified app like the stock ROM has...cause anyhow we r getting a better performance benchmarks through the custom ROM but those lacking the camera performance....Im also a big fan of these ROM tried every ROM in this forum..every ROM is brilliant at his won base..with some modes we r getting near about the stock camera performance but why not the better or same............:??
Try Gcam ported, it performs even better than stock camera. As for camera app, I believe it involves complex algorhytm so it's kinda hard for devs to build a flawless camera app.

Download lucky patcher, and then install the pixelmaster camera APK that you can find in apkmirror. It is, what I believe, the best solution.
Dude...
You should use the Pixelmaster camera that's posted on the LOS thread. Courtesy of @planet9.

DoF works but not as an effect. If you try to take a picture focusing on the nearer object, the object further away will be out of focus.
Manual mode also works flawlessly.
Some effects (post processing) won't work correctly... they won't be missed.
The phone won't take the picture zoomed in, but since it's a fake zoom (not optical), you can crop the picture to whatever detail you want to focus.

First, check you have a rooted device. If you do, install lucky patcher (Here. The download is in a Zip file, you need to decompress it). Then, download the OG camera app, from here , or install the newer, Zenfone 4 version from here. Then, open luckypatcher and hit the button that says "Rebuild and Install". That will show you a file explorer. In it, search for the previously downloaded apk. When you find it, touch it. It will show you a menu, in it touch the option that says "Install as system app". Wait untill it's done, hit restart now and whe it boots up, you will have the Asus OG camera.
Remember that you need to repeat this prosses every time you flash an update or another ROM.

Has anyone been able to make work the Oreo Samsung Camera after the Pie update.
The old version had Pro mode for video.
Samsung updated the camera app with useless filters but removed the Video Pro mode.
Any work arounds? I tried with different apps from apk mirror, even tried apk editor and signing but no luck.
Maybe someone will be able to port it or enable it from the apk or in the new camera.
Thanks.
I too noticed when 1st moving from Oreo to pie that there isn't a pro mode for video. I need this so i can edit Iso, etc but cant anymore. Not sure as to why they would remove it
