I used to rooted and unlocked this phone. And installed a rom. Then I think I installed a wrong HBOOT or a radio and it bricked. I tried to debrick but it didn't work. Then I put the phone aside for a while. Now I want to make it work again. I did a lot stuff on it that I don't remember. Now phone starts in RUU mode.
I'm a noob so I don't know every commands or how these things work so I followed some guides but I've got errors every time. Is my phone bricked totally? Is JTAG necessary? or is there a way to get out from RUU mode and install correct HBOOT and RADIO? or if those correct than what am I doing wrong? This is a My Touch 3G T-mobile. And it says Sapp310 under the battery and there's an A next to barcodes. I don't know if it means 32A or not.

what roms can i run on this?
also update.zip install but not boot up past the Mytouch 3g screen...

Are you sure you let it sit long enough? The first boot after a rom install is EXTREMELY long. It can take 5 mins or more to boot the first time. For my MT3G it now sits considerably longer at the MyTouch green screen.
I have been waiting 5 minutes nothing yet. how should it take to boot up?

I am having the same problem phone was working fine before but ever since I updated to the engineering spl its been doing this.
If your phone is rooted which it is im guessing just unroot it worked for me I can atleast use my phone again download the nbh file and rename it to sappimg.nbh and boot up while holding down the volume down key.

I thought the required radio was 2.22.19.26I? That is actually the radio my myTouch came preloaded with. Other than that mine is exactly the same.
Bootloader loop.
When you "adjusted" the radio or SPL - for the most part I hope you realize that depending on your ROM choice of course; that you didn't have to make those changes.
The T-Mobile MT3G comes with that "radio" from HTC that everyone has updated to. Trust me, I was sure to double-check that the day of release.

My suggestion, check out http://www.theunlockr.com and you'll find some tips on HOW-TO properly make said changes, and HOW-TO adjust those settings should a problem arise.

I would like to point out I was originally trying to do update to this: [ROM][32A] CursorSense32A-1.0 FINAL! Fast, stable 1.5 Sense UI ROM! [01-12-10]
After everything said and done as soon as the phone started it went to an endless loop, switching off and switching on. I tried getting into recovery (Home + Switch on) but it would stay there for a second and then reboot again. Tried getting into Fastboot (Back + Switch on) which initially i was glad to see the white screen popup but now adb devices nor fast boot devices detect the phone i get no devices listed.
I have tried re-installing the usb drivers, rebooting the pc and the phone a billion times just about everything but nothing works. I can't do anything from recovery because it stays there for a few seconds and reboots again and without fastboot i can't manage to flash it into recovery either nor can i push any files to the phone. (Even tried connecting the phone to my mac and see if i could get some sort of access to the phone but i get nothing).
I would appreciate any help pertaining to this problem.
*UPDATE*: I don't know how but i can finally see the device under fastboot devices. I am guessing the best way to go is flash another SPL even though i have the one that is to be used by the CursorSense, any suggestions? Should i try re-flashing the SPL?
**UPDATE (2)*: Tried [32A][HOW-TO] Upgrade to 6.35.07.29 Radio and 1.76.2007 SPL (Downgrade/Revert too!)
but it fails with (remote: signature verify fail)

I looked through all the forums for bricked phones and its kinda not helping much
I have a Mytouch 3G 1.2 W/3.5 mm jack. Basically what happened was i messed up my instructions and tried downloading a european version of Radio and SPL. from there i installed Recovery-Ra-v1.6.2.img from the Fastboot area. everything seemed fine till i rebooted and couldnt get into recovery. i cannot get into recovery now and its all messed up. Stays on Splash screen and thats it. I tried to HBoot into SAPPIMG but it stops at Radio_v2 when it is updating and at 95 percent of the bar is completed. Cant do anything to Fastboot USB and download any Recoveries, radios or SPLs.

His phone is not MT3G v1.2 or Fender, his phone is common HTC Magic 32A, so he need create goldcard and flash RUU again
His first attempt was wrong cause every official ROM checks CID on phone. If phone's CID is not equal with ROM CID then update will fail. RUU updated hboot and radio and failed at CID-step and locked in RUU-mode.
