they both pikachu (miui) and whiterabbit (cm7.2) use the v6 supercharger ram script, which add performance, just make sure to choose agressive v6 supercharger settings on the aroma installer...
you can even install the v6 script manually in any other rom, here's the post:

KANG means nothing but its an Experimental Build (Nightly) .. If u have GB kernel try Epsylon3 CM7 Roms for Defy+ (GB kernel) ..
and regarding KANG if the build is named Addressing Defy or Jordan, then its for Defy.
and if its named addressing GB kernel or Defy+ then its for Defy+ !!
Thanks for the informations I know about epylons3 CM7.2 nightly builds but on his versions the camera doesn´t work 100%! It´s overhead on my defy.. so it doesn´t usable for me
...I´ve tried out the "KANG" version of CM7 and it doesn´t work on the defy+ kernel !
but the headline of kangs thread means that it was also for the defy+. Thats not true!
On my brothers Defy the ROM run very well and smooth!
..I hope i can flash this ROM very soon!
Is it possible to make a "extra" version for the defy+/defy with new kernel ??
Because i get crazy about the new kernel and the nighlty builds (epsylon3/quarx)
for defy+ works very good and fast but the camera is overhead.
I´ve tried to replace the camera.apk from another build, but it doesn´t help me to fix this problem.
i think it just mod the lockscreens,i prefer Ep3 's builds.

If it is given that it is for defy+..then i suppose u need to flash GB kernel along with the ROM [may be that ROM is having Froyo kernel]..try it.. that may work..and right now Eppy and Quarx are working on Defy CM 7.2 & CM9..once the boot loader is unlocked , i think defy+ will have a lot of scope..think they are facing some problem with GB kernel..

I tried this the other day and kept getting lockups from v6 ver8. With setting 9.
Doesn't seem to really need supercharger though when I had everything installed

[Q] Gingerbread based CM?

Sorry if this sounds like a noob question. Is there a CM7 or 9 ROM which is based on gingerbread kernel (e.g. 4.5.3-109_DPP-11)? The reason I ask is that I really like CM7 functionality, but have heard that gb kernel based roms (like ms2ginger) have awesome battery life. If there is such a ROM, does it have battery life comparable to ms2ginger?
Cm7.2 or cm9 defy+ builds work on gingerbread kernel. You can use 4.5.2.109 dht 22 kernel, which ms2ginger uses, and with it either cm72 or cm9 gives similar battery life. You can find the kernel link in Walters ms2ginger thread, if any difficulty tell me I can upload for u.
For quarx builds goto HTTP://quarx2k.ru
For eppy builds goto HTTP://defy.wdscript.fr

[Q] I'm looking for a stable ROM to defy mb525

Hello. I have motorola defy, and my first custom rom is gingerbread 2.3.6. On this rom i can play games like modern combat 2 but i have lots reboots when i start too much apps (3). And i be angry on this rom and i wanna change it. And i do it, i flash on my defy custom rom ice cream sandwitch 4.0.4 and i try to play mc2. **** i cannot do that! When i start missiin i kill 3 guys and have error "Application modern combat 2... must be close" or enything else, sorry i don't remember all words in error and it' s difficult to translate from Polish to English. My friend told me "android 2.3.4 is the best, smooth and stable rom" but i wanna find custom rom on this android and kernel with flash player because i wanna play galaxy life on facebook and this game is only on app store in apple. Plese help me with custom roms, i thinks overcloking on my defy is bad because when i over clock from 800mhz to 1000mhz (on gingerbread 2.3.6) my defy reboot himself. Please help me guys
Overclocking on my defy is not bad, clock from 800MHz to 1000Mhz. Im on 1000Mhz.... Try MIUI or WIUI these are stable.
Try Cyanogenmod 7.2 by Maniac
Here's the Download link

You will also need these Gapps

WIUI Stable.
Hello,
I'm using CM10 of quarx latest ROM and let it run from 300MHz up to 1200MHz.
Look at quarx.ru/ there CM10-2ndboot-nightly-defy(+)
It is for all kind of defy.
You also can find older and stable ROM's.
Sent from my MB525 using cm10-20121205-nightly-mb526.zip and
xda app-developers app with 1200MHz...
You can use the ROM of Epsylon or Quarx 4.0.4 or 4.1.2 , they are stable. I have -10% accu per night. Undervolted low speed CPU and off all not needed. Some days no charger, ok for me. I use now 300/20, 600/30, 800/40 and 1000/50. I have GB accidently.
The new 2ndboot 525/526 CM10 of Quarx give you 4 steps. For longer accu go lower with the steps, exept 300MHz!

I ran WhiteRabbit 1.52 for 6 months, nice rom and stable. After a few tries with WR1.7 and 2.0, I'm in love with WIUI stable GB. Very stable, smooth, overclocked (1100 mhz by default on my d+) and nice design.

+1. Fantastic ROM
wiui is the best
OK, stupid question: What is "wiui"?
just get CM7.2 stable from the official website. It couldnt get any more stable than that.
You have some options: install a stable CM7.2 or (because none of the CM10 is not stable by now) you can try a mix between a last CM10 of your choice and the 18.11 Quarx kernel.

Wiui is actualy miui . But it is modified by Wajk. So it is Wiui. Wiui gb is perfect in my opinion.

Try Cm 7.2 and try to overclock and set vsel to higher values if it reboots sometime.
On play you can find cpu-tester apps to check your settings (dont remember the name, just search)

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1824551
CM9 is the best option for you. Go to uncledan's android mirror to get CM9
I'm using CM10 27/05 but it does have few bugs.
All the roms on that thread are for the Defy and Defy+.

Quarx' CM10 18/03 was pretty stable, no bugs at all for me. 27/05 is considerably faster though. I'd say CM10 is a safe bet as it's quite mature by now. Be aware that some of these builds are marked as experimental (the ones with the red colour)
I am using Quarx' CM10 17/2 with Blechdose 22/3 Jellyx kernel... It's very smooth and stable
thanks you all...(i mean it)
decided to try cm9 ...
downloaded the last one from http://defy-cm.net/defy-cm9-nightly/ (its Quarx)
flashed the OS , its gr8 for now. will update soon .
Going to install basebandswitcher 4.
and also battery calibration tool after a full recharge !!
inbetween one dbt ..im using a DEFY mb525 .(prev os was cm7.2). So my kernel will be a FROYO One . R8?
Should i install GB kernel for better performance ...?
cm9 of Quarx Vs cm9.1 of epsylon
like i said i installed Quarx cm9
now found a cm9.1 by epsylon http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1353003

Yes, there's not much of a difference. You don't need to install any kernel.
But in this thread it shows i need to flash kernel
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1618904
r8 now my phone shows kernel as 2.6.32.9-gb ....
got kernel-gb-234-451-134-signed.zip from http://defy.wdscript.fr/kernel/
Before that my Questions are
should i update the KERNEL .. its some threads its shown Kernal Update is necessary ...
