[Q]Is there anything I can do with the ram low problem in 2.2?

I'm now using Hackdroid Floyo 1.0, mostly I only have no more than 24M free ram. My x8 always lags.
It seems there is SuperCharger script for cm7 based on 2.3. Will this work for 2.2? Or is there any script work for my rom?
If there's not, what else I can do? Fast Reboot? Or just flash back to 2.1?

Use supercharger script, it works on ALL roms.

I say GingerXperia. It feels more clean than the other roms, in my opinion.

Its all work....except an light sensor but there is fix.

Best one for me is: 2.1.1.Clean.0.0 by pfonck, fast, clean, no lag, no bugs
Favorite one is: GingerCruzt for Arc Launcher and features, but laggy and battery drain...

Thanks all for comments, but Gingerxperia v11 is more lightweight, stable and faster than gingerdx v18?

I havent tried GingerXperia yet but maybe 2 weeks from now after i fully evaluate GingerDX. Im using stock kernel + GingerDX v18 + addons with OC to 710Mhz + Supercharger + Build.prop Tweaks and Init.d Tweaks + LP Sense UI,NTSense Theme and Agile Lock. So far so good.
At least im not getting those errors other people are getting. Came from Froyobread v23 with the same setup so it was a smooth transition. For now i'd say GingerDX. 2 weeks from now im trying GingerXperia with those setup except without Supercharger as i read somewhere that GingerXperia uses JUWE ramscript.

you try google navigator? with gx 17 maps block the x8 :S

Trying GingerXperia v11, very impressed how fast it is...

I'm also using 2.1.1.Clean.0.0 by pfonck... And so far I'm loving it!

Cyborg is for stable wifi,
DX for advanced features,
GingerCtuzt for official style.

Hi to all! When i go back to home screen from different apps in GingerXperia v10 and v11 ROM, the launcher reload and i have to wait few seconds. And it happen each time.
Are you met this problem?

First of all i want to apologize for my english.
I'm looking for the best ROM for us defy for gamming. I have a red lens. I don't like to make a full sbf with rds or etc. I need performance and stability.
Somebody can recommended any ROM's ?

they both pikachu (miui) and whiterabbit (cm7.2) use the v6 supercharger ram script, which add performance, just make sure to choose agressive v6 supercharger settings on the aroma installer...
you can even install the v6 script manually in any other rom, here's the post:

I haven't tried it on Quarx's JB but on ParanoidAndroid (based on Quarx's) and it seems to have worked in the sense that the
launcher has not crashed in a while and phone feels smooth. You will find the steps to v6 supercharge in the thread itself.
