Root for A310_02_0039_0089_ROW - Thinkpad Tablet General

Hi everyone. I just received my Lenovo Thinkpad tablet today. Been reading about the threads on XDA tonight and have been getting some mixed messages on how to root the tablet with the newest OTA.
Just to confirm, this is the newest way to root for OTA2.5 (0089), correct?

Just realized ROW and US are different versions. Is it okay to use 0060_US on a 0089_ROW device?
Thanks in advance.

Hi all, I found this thread and basically answered all my questions. I am now ROOTED! Yes!
Thanks for your hard work opdecirkel

2.1 Leak to 2.1 Root

Hi. I am a dev who is fairly new to the Android platform. I recently acquired a droid eris running 2.1 leak v3. I am interested in upgrading to root. I was wondering if anyone had achieved root in any of the leaks? If not, is anyone working on it? If so I may be able to help.
Thanks in advance and I apologize if any of these questions had already been answered. I have searched all over this forum and other forums and could not find a recent answer to these questions.
Also, I hear the OTA is right around the corner and might be the exact same as the third leak. Should I just wait until that comes out to attempt to achieve root? I do not want to spend hours of my time working on this only to have the OTA come out the next day and have done this for nothing.

There are versions of 2.1 rooted, but there is no current way to go from the leaks TO root. There are rooted roms based on 2.1 though.

Not to be mean, i hate when people put topic titles as something like 2.1 leaked to 2.1 root, that makes u get excited and then u go read and its not really that. Just saying name ur threads better

[Q] Software updates for Rooted EVO's?

Hey guys, I just searched through and found:
forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=614850
*Still a new noob on the forums so I wasn't able to link the complete thread.
That thread for updating rooted phones. Is there a different method for EVO's or does this post apply for EVO's as well?
Just rooted my phone this past weekend (with Unrevoked3) and I'm quite new to the root ways. Currently not running any special ROM's just using launcherPRO instead of Sense UI.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
If you get it upload it here we can do nothing for rooted phones till soneone who got the update actually takes the time to upload it

[Q] Update to C4, how to root? Should I root?

Hello again gang,
So, I took the OTA air update to C4, knowing full well I was going to lose root access.... I got tired of being harassed every day to update, so I did it.
My questions are: 1) If I root now, am I going to just have to do it again in two weeks when some insignificant update is released? 2) Is there a way to stay "ahead of the curve?", and 3) How do I actually root my phone and keep this update? Any links to already posted guides would be great. Thanks everyone!

Updating HD 10's

I have two Fire HD 10's that are rooted using the SuperTool.
I've read a lot on the forum and can't seem to find an answer on whether or not we can ever upgrade to the latest firmware without losing root. I know that I obviously cannot take the OTA.
Is anyone working on a modified version of the firmware so that we can safely upgrade?
Thank you for any help, if I missed something and I'm asking a dumb question, I apologize.
