I want to revert back to Stock GB from CM9. .Can i flash with mobile Odin??
flashing with Pc odin gives yellow triangle. .I dont want to that
Sure, you ca use mobile odin..
If you flash a signed Kernel from Samsung you will not get yellow triangle.. every official Samsung rom is signed, so odin will do too

Flashing STOCK SAMSUNG ROM with PC Odin won't give you any yellow, orange or sky blue triangles, don't worry!
yTriangle P) appears only when you flash non stock ROM with PC Odin.
Flashing with mobile odin can keep your root on the stock fw, without getting the yellow triangle/Flashcounter increase.
You just have to flash an cf-root kernel afterwards to get the CWM back.
Check your CSC after flashing multi-csc.

So if i'm right:
I can go back to stock with mobile odin and a stock rom GB from cm9.
But, what about the root? it will be preerved? how??
i need a stock kernel but root! can be possible without win odin and without the rooting stock porcedure?
thanks

As I said above, just flash a pre rooted rom with mobile odin. Check development thread for pre rooted gb roms.

Just got my GT-N7000 , and my fingers are already itching to flash another STOCK ROM . Is it safe to assume that ALL the GT-N7000 have the same hardware specs ?
Mine came with UBKK2 firmware/Kernel , that is not listed among the custom kernels of CF-Root; this is why I want to flash another stock ROM (not yet interested in any custom ROM) . I am thinking of flashing the latest pre-ICS firmware . Any suggestion on a firmware version ? Should I pay attention to the baseband version included in the ROM ?
Also, since Kies does NOT show me any available updates I guess ODIN is my only option ( not yet been rooted ) . Will ODIN increase the flash counter even if I flash a stock ROM ?
Thanks in advance,

All GT N7000s are the same. Flash yourself some ICS.
Edit: Flash the latest German GB ROM if you don't want ICS.

Nope, flashing with Odin doesn't increase flash counter if you flash STOCK roms
Read this thread (post #2) for instructions
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1424997
Edit:
btw, my suggestion is same as the above: flash new ICS rom, you have link to tutorial in the post above (post #1, next to ICS rom)
If you want newest GB rom with root, I think you have to flash older stock rom first, root it, and then flash newest GB rom using Mobile Odin + everroot ...
well since I am not rooted yet, I would need to flash and older firmware that will allow me to install CF ROOT AND CWM.

Or you can flash either the odex or deodex pre rooted German ICS roms.

If there are instructions on how to do this please post a link or maybe someone can help? Thank you.
Note: I am currently using Imikla's ICS rom, not sure what version...I flashed this in March so its based on an early ICS leak.
My kernel is: 3.0.15-I9220ZCLP1-CL131270 [email protected] #3
plenty of these types of posts
flash a gb kernel such as abyss 4.2 and you can then flash a gb rom fgrom cwm or you can use odin to flash stock

I presume it is not safe to flash via CWM? Can I flash using odin PC?
Why don't you search through threads there has been plenty made for this

Because there aren't any clear instruction of how to flash and what settings to use to flash a kernel and the little details.

The safest way to get away from ICS is:
Use PC Odin or Heimdall to flash a safe Gingerbread kernel with working CWM (NOT a full firmware package, and DO NOT mess with repartitioning), such as a Gingerbread CF-Root release. From there you can wipe and then flash whatever you want.
To be clear - JUST flash a safe kernel and then wipe/flash using that - don't flash anything else in PC Odin. If the full firmware package you flash has bootloaders it could hose you.

entropys instructions
I've flashed the Abyss kernel as stated and now I have a problem, it stays at the loading screen, excellent instructions guys!
Flash any stock GB ROM via PC ODIN. Do not tick repartition.
Try flashing a single file ROM, not 3 files ROM.
In case if fails, then try flashing a stock 3 files ROM (PDA, MODEM & CSC) alongwith .PIT file and re-partition checked.
I have been using the CM11 rom from Temasek until I decided to have a go at the Omega Rom. After installing through recovery, my note cannot get out of the Samsung Logo. It just refused to start. Tried installing latest stock rom through odin, same issue. Saw three lines of messages on the top left hand corner and the Samsung logo and that's it. Can only get it working if I revert back to Temasek's rom.
Help anyone...

which versions of omega and stock rom did you flash ? i read you said the newest, just asking to be sure.
if its the newest omega rom, you must flash 4.4.2 stock rom first.
when you upgrade to 4.4.2, you can no more use cm11 and you cant go back to any 4.3 based rom.

I tried the 7.1 Omega Rom and then the 4.4.2 version of the stock rom.
You have to flash the stock 4.4.2 via Odin. Is that what you did?

Yes I did.
Try to boot into recovery after flashing the stock 4.4.2 and factory reset. Maybe that will work.

Flash stock 4.3 with odin, then 4.4.2 stock with odin. Then install recovery, and Omega after.

that shouldnt be possible if you done everything right.
as soon as you are on the new bootloader that you get when you flash 4.4.2, you can definatley not revert to temasek, it wont boot.
i think you are still on the old bootloader and that is why your kitkat based roms dont boot.

Hi all, I have not touched my S4 (i9505) for a while and still running stock rooted 4.2.2 with (wanam) Adam kernel 1.6
Now I want to flash stock 4.4.2, can I use mobile Odin? Will my phone be REGION LOCKED ? I don't care about Knox. Thanks
anyone ???
If you say untouched, means not rooted? Mobile ODIN needs root access.
And some part will NOT be flashed by mobile ODIN, you have to do with PC

Hmmmm, for stock firmware I don't think so, mobile ODIN will flash, but some of part like bootloader it won't flash. And I am not sure if it's working on 4.2 bootloader.
Personal suggestion is that you flash recovery and then using recovery to flash KNOX-free ROM

Do you have an i337, because if you do the bootloader is not unlocked. You're going to have to flash the stock firmware in Odin

You're screwing up because you haven't read about the things you are trying to do. If you want to learn and do things correctly, I suggest reading the pinned threads in the general and q&a sections paying close attention to the information that is specifically about your model and firmware version. The things you are trying to do and the questions you are asking have been answered many times over in those threads.

You need to flash full nb1 to regain stock.
Once you are in nb1 you can choose to stay stock or downgrade to mk2 to root and install safestrap.
From there you can install any Tw rom not AOSP YOU CAN NOT FLASH CUSTOM ROMS.
