I am using Android, and I want to do Task29. How? And what is it? And after it what will I have to do? Flash recovery and CLK again?

Ithink you have to read first..
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=893948
take your time!
But I have NAND android installed. It's just I have installed so many different roms - MIUI, Sense, CM7 and I want do clear junk after it and flash android again. How does it look when android is on? How do I have to establish connection via Active Sync?
[EDIT]
OK, I think I got that.
[EDIT2]
OK, it works. but tell me - if I installed CLK 1.5, do I have to install ClockWork MOd? CLK 1.5 has it in it I think, so there's no need?

What they mean with redo is to start from the very beginning
1. Reformatted SD card
2. Go into bootloader and make sure you have SPL 2.08 HSPL
3. Task 29
4. Flash Radio 2.15.xx
5. Flash MAGLDR version 1.13 (the latest one)
6. Flash WP7 or ANDROID (as you like.
Reboot and see if that works

Yeah what they said but after you flash MAGLDR you need to flash a partition before flashing a ROM.

No need if you flash via DAF method (just select menu no. 5 USB Flasher while the phone plugged to PC) and run the DAF.exe (Android rom) from your PC.
You will only have to flash RECOVERY partition if you want to flash via ZIP/CWM mode

Hello, my fellow XDAs.
Based on this guide, i wanted to give cLK a go, because "it makes my device like a native android device" (please correct me if I'm wrong).
So my problem is, I already got a good, working NAND Build (RafDroid HD 4.0.2), flashed with MAGLDR and CWM. And now I don't know, how much I can "damage" with an installation of cLK. As far as I know, cLK just replaces MAGLDR (also, please correct me if I think wrong).
Will I be able to boot normally in my NAND? Or do I have to re-flash CWM?
Just a little confused...
Greetings
schousta

cLK is managing partitioning unlike in MAGLDR that is managed by DAF installer.
You will have to reflash everything but you can also restore with CWM.
So...
Make a backup
Task 29 (to be sure)
Flash cLK
Flash CWM
Flash ROM for cLK
Restore backup
Thank you, kind sir
one last question: the rom has to specificly for cLK, right?

Yes the ROM has to be for cLK. It is a couple of ROMs that will work with both cLK and MAGLDR. But most have to seperate versionscause it is aslight difference in the kernel but hou can make any AndroidROM work with cLK. Check the last post of mime on the last page of my guide you are using it has a zip file from the cLK tgread that is suppose to do this. Or PM zach.antre he can help you make any ROM compatible with cLK.
Oh, thank you, will work through that asap!
Edit: Sorry, I got another question. Will cLK make my phone somewhat faster/stable?

Hi,
I don't think clk will affect the speed or stability of your phone.
That is all down to the ROM you are using and the setup you have for it.
what does cwm mean?

CWM stands for Clockwork Mod Recovery. Some people call it CMR but it is the same thing. Click on my guide to find out what CWM is and what it does. the section on CWM starts in post #2.
So do you think, if I will change from RafDroid HD 4.0.2 to NexusHD2 Gingerbread 2.7, my setup would get faster?
I mean, I like my ROM, but the more and more upcoming lags are annoying and the battery life is just not really acceptable.
So, would this be an alternative for me?

I see you're using the latest imilka rom (sense gingerbread).
Is it any good?

I like it ,but it's not perfect and there issues.
I need sense,and I prefer sense 2.1 and 3.0.
That is only my opinion.
I like Sense too (one reason why i bought the HD2). I hope, I will make it without.
In case, I'm totally confused, I have backups. Lots of them.
But before re-flashing a backup, I have to re-flash the connected partition-file, right?

Ok,
Before I suggest anything ,I need to know what you have done up to now...
Did you follow zach.antre and do this?
So...
Make a backup
Task 29 (to be sure)
Flash cLK
Flash CWM
Flash ROM for cLK
Restore backup
What ROM would you like to install?
So here is what i did so far:
Backup via CWM.
Backed up Apps with Titanium Backup Pro.
(I read Task29 could be skipped, so I checked this on my todo-list)
Aaaaand I decided against cLK because I didn't find any advantages of it for me.
And I am flashing CWM Partition file now. (NexusHD2 Gingerbread 2.7).
ROM is next.
MAYBE I will restore the Apps, but I'm not sure, wanted to have a clean install.
Are there problems with this?

Yes,should be ok.
So, no you get a thank.
Kind Sir.
For your knowledge...
In most cases every ROM Dev is offering the proper files needed or gives info of what partition table need to be etc.
In your case for NexusHD2 v2.7 Tytung is providing the cLK 1.4 with partition System:135M and Cache:2M, the rest space goes for Data.
The CWM backup provides you the following files
.android_secure.img
boot.img (kernel and initrd)
cache.img
data.img (all your apps, setting, contacts, messages etc)
nandroid.md5
recovery.img (ClockWorkMod Recovery)
system.img (The Android system)
Which is actually everything that your phone has exept your SD files.
When you install a new ROM which is same Base version (Gingerbread or Froyo etc) you only need to restore (advance restore) data.img, nothing else.
Titanium backup is doing exactly the same job but also make sure your restored backup will work without a problem.
If you wipe everything and want to restore the previous version you had, you just need to restore in CWM boot.img, system.img and data.img
System.img is actually the space you need in system partition.
If for example you have deleted some system apps, such as tweeter, facebook etc, and your system.img is 119MB then you need a cLK with 120M system partitioning.
You will see different cache sizes because many ROM devs are linking cache to data so actually elliminate the need of cache partition.
I hope I have helped!
I have [DFT] MAGLDR 1.13 installed on my HD2 and the AD Hardreset function does not work.
I tried using the hardware key to hard reset the phone, it did not work as well.
I am trying to get rid of this install so that I can install other custom roms onto the SD card instead.
Can someone please tell me how I can get rid of my [DFT]MAGLDR 1.13 installed on the phone?
Thanks so much.
doing a hard reset will not set you back to windows and original install you need to flash back to stock windows for that

Will I be able to use task29 and then install other custom Android rom?
Will want to install new custom ROM on the SD card instead of NAND.
Thanks
Then just flash a stock Windows Mobile ROM and go from there with your SD Android.
Get a dual boot application that will ask you every time what you want to boot.
Just curious, why do you want to go back to SD Android?

You can't run the system from SD and install to the phone. SD android doesn't touch the nand in any way.

It would be really nice for your not to post stupid questions. I told him to go back to winmo to see if everything is working. Flashing from winmo is easier then from this "unknown" state. I think he got all help he needed.Ad recovery and factory reset wont help him much.

In post 1 you say you are on wp7, therefore the radio must already be ok.
task 29 is mostly pointless unless you are having issues, and if you don't bother with it you won't need to reflash magldr either. You should simply be able to enter magldr, install a cwm layout and flash android.
the only sticking point is removing the custom formatted partition on the SD card, , there are a number of "how to " threads for that.
