I'm bumping this up, because I'd also like to use Manila's native contact manager app outside of Touch Flo.
I am wondering if there is a reference for Manila 2.5 command shortcuts. For example, I would like to change the Action Screen new appointment shortcut from Outlook to Manila, so I am hoping that it is a matter of adding some parameter to --switchtopage Manila://calendar.page ??
Yeah, I'm wondering too how to make full use of Sense 2.5.2012? Such as if we wanna make new contact with action screen, instead of using pocket outlook, we could use Sense 2.5 new contact. TIA
Hi,
I've just purchased a HTC Leo, and i've some questions because some features of my old HTC Diamond 2 aren't here anymore... And i want them back
First of all, i want the little arrow in the up right corner of the screen, that allow to see open applications and close them. How to get it back?
Then, i noticed that the SMS manager is now a custom HTC menu, and i want the old SMS "outlook" back. How to do?
I want be able to access to the Windows setings old menu too, not the HTC one.
Is there any registry tweak or application for change these features?
Please help me, because i am dissapointed and about to sell my Leo and use again my Diamond 2...

*Sigh*
Did you use search? These questions have been asked (and mostly answered) before, and can be easily found around here.

-> 7. Get the old Task Manager Back (works great)
Then, i noticed that the SMS manager is now a custom HTC menu, and i want the old SMS "outlook" back. How to do?
Last post in this thread sounds promising.

From HTC settings tab, right softkey 'Menu' -> 'All Settings'.
Thanks for your answer.
I noticed that i don't have the Windows calandar anymore, but only the HTC one, wich i really hate.
Ive make a shortcut in "Programs" folder, for "calandar.exe" and it works fine, but the shortcut don't have icon, and is ugly...
How can i put the calandar icon to this shortcut?

Easy! Sell your HD2, put your SIM Card back in your Diamond2 and that's it!
About that calendar -

You can go to Start->OutLook->Calendar (This is the regular windows calendar)
Or - with htc-sense - you can add a shortcut to the "Today" page (Where the clock is) by tapping an empty link place, and selecting the calendar from the list of suggested programs.
Enjoy
Hello all,
I'm using Gen.Y's D2 R5.5, excellent ROM. The only think I can't get used to is the Start menu launcher.
The option to roll back to the Sense Programs Tab is not also an option, it's pretty much the same.
Are there any other solutions around?
Thanks
To enable "old" LargeMenu (Disable new manila start menu):
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\HTC\EnlargeMenu\Enable ManilaStartMenu =dword:00000000
To show favorites programs page on manila:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\HTC\Manila\Manila://programs.page.hidden =dword:00000000
The same is accomplished by using this cab from Gen.Y http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=213039&d=1249512332
I was looking for something else..
Thanks anyway.
i use a wm6.5 touch pro2 without manila and active windows default in today settings, i think it's such a cool theme, but there isn't a link about windows default tasks, which i can use it without "windows default"(maybe it's called chome?). is there any way to add it? i use cht editor, i know i can add a button to windows task, but there isn't any information can be displayed.
thanks a lot.
Look for CHome Editor, it has many functions, and the author made a weather plugin too
