How to add 'New' Menu Functionality in WM05?

Hi
Does anybody know of an app to add the 'New' Menu functionality to WM05.
In 2003 and 2003SE you could tap on the word 'New' in the bottom left of the today screen and a menu would appear allowing you to select a new appointment, task etc.
Or if not a way of using the standard voice control app included with the O2 exec to start a new appointment/task in Pocket Informant.
I have tried selecting new appointment/Task from the list of apps and functions in the voice control screen but this only starts Pocket Informant in the relevent view but does not create a new appointment/task to start entering info into.

i do... but i don't know how to get it back i'm afraid... unfortunately it seems no one else misses it... i posted something like this a while ago, which raised no responses

You can do it with a WisbarAdvance plugin: WisbarDesktop.
You can assign a button (like a shortcut on the desktop) to do that.

Or Spb Pocket Plus.
After you installed it, there is a folder in the startmenu/programs where you can find a lot of shortcuts like [newcontact], [newappointment]...
After this you just need one launcher program.

Tried Spb Pocket Plus.
This just does the same as voice controller when selecting new appointment or task it starts Pocket Informant on the relevent view but does not actually open a new appointment or task.
So it looks like this might be an issue with Pocket Informant.

Guys, I've posted here about how to create new PIM items, eg on a softkey (and using my VJPhoneTools for new sms/email etc).
I'll have a much better solution at some point in the future too
Use smallmenu and you can have a startmenu > subfolder to do this quite easily.

2) can i still use today plugin using touchflo? for example calendar plus, spb mobile shell's contact .. or i must unclick touchflo in today? if so, can i still enjoy the weather, stock tabs?

What you can do is unclick touchflo.
Install
1.Spb Diary
2.Spb Traveler can be embed into Spb Diary Interface.
3.For stock, have a look at this. Then Create a shortcut on the Today screen.

2. You can use SecondToday and assign a key in manila to a second today page where you can put any today plug in (Pocket breeze in my case)

I'm not sure what "pic" you're talking about, but if it's just the text of your carrier in the top right like "T-Mobile" than yes, you should be able to remove/change that though I don't remember how, however I'm sure it's in the forum.

Shortcut to Manila "All Contacts"

My TP2 is running manila 2.1. I really like the "All Contacts" feature in Manila better than the default windows Contacts. My Manila home screen has the right soft key set to Contacts. Is there some way to launch All Contacts from a link or exe that I could then assign to the right soft key? I could not find anything on the device itself that would launch All Contacts.

This is what I've been looking for. But I'm editing my action screen and would to link the manila contacts to it. Can you tell me how I would do it without having to use the lnk u made. I have two lines. Parameters and Path. Thanks.

Nevermind. I'm an idiot. I just looked at the properties of the lnk you provided to get the path and param I need. Thanks.

Does anyone know how to change this lnk so that it opens the "Favorite Contacts" tab instead of the "All Contacts" tab?

call hystory on manila home screen HD mini

Hi all !
I have seen a video of the new htc HD mini and it has a cal hystory button just under the calendar button ( the style is the very same ! ), I think that this is very useful, is there any change to bring this in manila 2.5 wvga ( the one of the HD2 to be mre precise ! ) ?

If you want "Call history" under "no new appointments" just use Co0kie's home Tab. In CHT Editor you can set to always show call history and for example hide permanently Calendar. Try it.

could you please link me it ? anyway I would like to only add callhystory windows without touch all the rest..

mhm I have checked Co0kie's home Tab but it completly change manila aspect I only would like to have the call hystory icon that's it !

You can keep everything the same, just keep the settings for 3x3 quicklinks, 1 page only, the call history tab always showing as you want it, dont enable the CHT lockscreen. and dont move anything around on the home tab!
Just go throught the settings and keep it all to match the stock look, and just enable your call history tab. Actually coming to think about it, there might not be space for it with the first 3 quicklinks showing. but thats the only gripe. maybe if you change the clock to the one without the weather details showing, then you can fit it in.

[Q] Customize Manila Sense 2.1 contacts tab

Hey experst,
I know, this ap is not the newest, but I want to use my blackstone for some days more, so here is my question:
how can I customize the slider tabs, for example I want to use Resco Contact manager instead of the standard contacts. Is it possible by tapping "contacts"-tab to get Resco contacts be started?
I'm using Blackstone wm 6.1 original HTC-Rom.
have tried this SSMaHo but can not "assigner mode" so is there any other possibility (changing registry )?
