Charger Replacement - Continuum General

If anyone needs a replacement or extra charger, Amazon.com has the OEM version for $5-10. This is much better than the one you will be sold at a Verizon store which costs $30 and causes your phone to freak out while charging (ampage is too high). Just a heads up.

Phone was used less than a month - has AC charger, two USB cables, headphone/usb splitter, case, two extra stylus. This phone was an insurance replacement. I kept breaking touchscreens so moved to a device that doesn't have one. For $70 I'll ship it to you.

Broken lcd (not digitizer)

Tried to get a replacement through asurion but they're offering a damn vibrant for $130 they no longer carry nexus ones which to me is ludicrous ,
Can someone point me in the right direction to get the right oem lcd that wont be a rip off.
eBay is your best choice bud. Dealextreme doesn't have them and other stores tend to charge ludicrous prices.
At least in Europe, manufacturers must give replacement items at least for 5 years (or more) from the selling day 1. Have you tried contacting HTC directly?

Suggestions on where to sell?

Hey all my second nexus 7 arrives today. I was lucky and snagged one at GameStop and now my extra one is coming in. Seeing that eBay charges a 10% final value fee usually plus other fees, does anyone have interest in purchasing a 16gb model or have suggestions on better places to try selling it other than eBay? I'd like to make a few extra bucks without risking losing money with fees and crap. Anyone have success on craigslist? Or should I just refuse delivery and return it?

Not to mention paypal will take their cut. I would probably try craig's list or just put it on the market here.

I'd refuse delivery and wait for the refund. I heard it'll take up to 2 wks. Wish I refused delivery and just gotten the 16gb instead but oh well. I'm happy with it.
Thanks...I'll check out the market here didn't realize we had one

T-Mobile Promo Question

Hi
I'm looking to buy a new Nexus 4. I am between ordering from Google, Amazon or even T-Mobile. As i have seen T-Mobile is carrying a free wireless charger promo. i'll like so help please to figure it out what would be the total amount for the Nexus 4. As i want it factory unlocked and i'm not sure if i need to pay any contract or monthly plan to T-Mo.
So final price would be $408?
If i pay that i may grab my phone unlocked, with my free wireless charger and not to pay any more money to T-Mo?
Please enlighten me , as i am between buying a Nexus 4 or splurge for a S4 and the like...
Thank You.
The nexus 4 will be the same no matter where you purchase it I went with Google I have no sales tax so it came out to like $362 for me.

I would get the nexus 4 from Google BUT you can get a good deal with T-Mobile wireless charger 408 vs 391$ from play store 16gb. You can unlock the phone yourself (there are sections here on how to do it). With that said, I would get the s4 because its more up to date and you can make it a Google edition s4.

Get outta here with that s4 talk Lol..
But op, just remember if you buy it from T-Mobile and go with the payment plan, that's gonna be 20$ more your paying taxes for on top of your regular bill...

I would go with the T-mobile one for that deal. It doesn't matter where you buy it from, straight from Google or T-mobile, they're the same phone. The one you buy from T-Mobile comes unlocked as well. My black nexus was from T-mobile and now my brother is using it with At&t without me having to unlock it. If you're gonna be paying straight cash for the phone then you won't be required to pay anything at all to T-mobile, only if you wish to use their service of course.
Well, If you're tech savy, like myself, you could find a Nexus 4 with a broke screen and repair it yourself if you wanna save half of that. I was lucky to find one that was listed for $160 and as the 8GB version because he couldn't check it then I bought the screen for $100. It ended up being the 16GB version and the phone is spotless. So total $260.00
It's only $17 per month for 24months thru T-Mobile.

T-Mobile sells it for $438 which includes the free wireless charger and free shipping. It's 16 GB and white. Google Play sells the 16GB for $350 and the charger for $60, plus $10 shipping for the phone and $5 shipping for the charger, for a grand total of $425. But they throw in a free bumper, a $20 value, so that reduces it to $405.
Thus you save $33 buying it direct from Google, unless you want to pay $33 for the white edition (don't see the white edition available in Google's store).
The sim card + activation fee should be a wash either way. Even if you bring your own device I'm betting it's easy to negotiate with them to waive the fees (if any) for sim card/activation ("Well AT&T/other carrier was willing to throw them in for free, maybe I should talk to them..").
Also, the Nexus 4 wireless charger isn't getting favorable reviews.. the second hit on Google is "I hate the Nexus 4 Wireless Charger." The Amazon product reviews are also bad. There are other qi chargers on Google that cost less and have good reviews for working with the Nexus 4.

Sorry if this is off-topic, but I wanted to chime in about the wireless charger.
Basically, I like my official Nexus wireless charger, except for the fact that it won't hold my phone. Every time I put it on there, my phone will fall off/slide down after 10 minutes. It's really annoying; I want it to work but that fatal flaw makes it so it doesn't. I've found that I have to put a deck of cards or something at the base of my phone when it's on there to prevent it from sliding down.

[US] Best Package Deal For Samsung Galaxy s8+

A friend of mine works at a wireless multi carrier kiosk at costco and told me about the deal.
I ended up preordering my S8+ at Costco, its tax fee! No sales tax!
In addition to the standard VR Headset+$50 oculus credit, this promo package also came with Samsung U Level bluetooth earphones, and TYLT Power Essentials (5200 mAh Portable battery, 2x USB cable, Car Charger, Twin USB port Wall charger)
Also, call your carrier's customer support, BUG THE HELL OUT OF THEM, and they will get that annoying $30-40 activation/upgrade fee waived
They make you get a monthly payment plan, but it has no interest anyway, and if for some reason you need to pay it in full like me to get a business deduction, simply go to your carrier's corporate store location and just tell them you would like to pay off your phone in full today.
Btw I got this case, only 7ish bucks on amazon, no sales tax, and free prime shipping, and it has a premium kickstand for watching movies/tv on that infinity display!
