Alright,lets have a head count on how many users are able to unlock their bootloader and those who cant..
This would help our developers what rom to make..is it for stock or custom..
I for one expect that there are alot of users who uses custom kernel..but as time passes by,people also buy new phones and leave the x8 forum for good..
And now,more and more people are still buying new x8s..and we know that those people cant unlock their bootloader..

Hey everyone... I didn't know ,who to ask, so i decide to start a bounty, for a OC kernal, for stock rom, or something like that? I think there's one, for the wifi only model, I would like one for the GT-P3100 model, (3G/wifi) ...don't know if its possible , or not.. but its worth a try..
So I'm putting up $50, for starters..for any other ruser , who wishes too join, feel free to, ..
So that's all I have for now..

Hey, Have you tried the one for the Wifi Only Model? I believe there is one that works on the p3100.
Just be 100% sure to BACKUP before you try it.
also, dink around on the dev thread and ask for a p3100 kernel on the thread for the existing kernels.

you should search our forum for unlock bootloader guide, an easy one by laser I suppose, and then unlock ur bootloader!
After that bump in any ics thread like feralab's and follow instructions there! If u are not scared of bricking you wont do any wrong!
Search a bit its better that way

PM me if you want any assistance in unlocking your bootloader...I have recently completed it...
For the sake of not littering up the dev thread and the ridicule of my fellow members I have a quick question. I installed the PACman rom and j would like to flash a new kernel. I follow direction really well and I know what I need to do to flash a new kernel. But in a custom rom I would like to know its safe to do so. And maybe try and flash some mods as well.
As long and I follow the directions that the devs post I should be fine and not brick my tablet.

OP Please Please PLEASE before you start flashing do some hard core reading. It will only benefit you in the future. Only flash stuff for your phone and if you are looking for a sense based rom there are experimental ones in this forum with threads already started. Again I could not stress enough about reading.....
