Blade for a Fire XT - Blade General

Would it be a good idea to get my blade exchanged for a Motorola fire xt? What're the pros and cons?
Sent from my Blade using XDA app

From what im able to see spec wise you will be gaining a faster cpu because the blade is 600mhz the moto is 800mhz, the gpu is the same and the camera is better than the blades with flash as a bonus. What i would really look into if you are willing to exchange the blade is this how good are the devs on the moto ?
EDIT: After searching for development on the moto phone i can see that developing is a bit poor compared to the blade
Sent from my Nexus One using xda premium

My advice would be to wait. 600-800 MHz jump in clock speed isn't very much. Have a search for what was announced in MWC. Some nice looking and spec'd phones including a few from Zte

Thanks guys. Will wait.

It is worth for buying?

I'm having xperia x10 mini pro.
Going to sell.
Then plan to buy Wildfire.
Wildfire is worth for buying to mini pro?
Main reason to sell mini pro is still can't crack the bootloader.
It having stable old 2.1rom but no stable froyo or gingerbread due to can't update kernel.
Or any other suggestions for that price?
Help me to buy.

Wildfire doesn't have a GPU
IMO, it will be worth waiting for the Wildfire S.
E: If you want one right now, look at the Dell XCD35. Amazing specs for the price. (~14k, Also known as the Orange San Francisco)

Wildfire is not really worth it`s price now. Go for a ZTE Blade/LG P500 Optimus One

In that case, even the Wildfire has only a TFT Screen. Yes, it has the advantage of 384MB RAM, but, with it's anemic CPU and no GPU, its not really that big of an advantage as it appears.
I would need to know your budget. If you can extend it to 21-22K, you can get the Desire actually. But, either way, I think it would be better for you to wait for the release of the next generation of the HTC devices in India. Even if they prove to be beyond your budget, it will atleast provide price drops on the existing ones. (As the Desire HD had on the Desire. Cost of Desire before DHD Launch was ~27k, and, after that, it settled at ~22k)
EDIT: Just saw your sig, and you have an SGS. Why would you want the Wildfire?
My dad having galaxy.
I want small mobile like wildfire.
I can't get correct spec of dell xcd35.
I saw spec of phobe on gsmarena.
It said dell xcd35 don't have 3.5 audio Jack.

Don't think so. Just look up ZTE Blade on GSMArena. It shows it does have a 3.5" headset jack. Also, doing a search for "Dell XCD35 on Google" brings up just one result which shows that the XCD35 doesn't have one, all the others state it does have one.
Anyway, since you are on the lookout for a small mobile, as I said in my first post in this thread, wait for the Wildfire S. It will probably the best fit for you.
Suggest me a good phone with 3.2" inch like wildfire.
Bcoz coming july I'm going to college.
Small phone best to handle.
Does wildfire has Andreno 200 GPU?
I saw it on gsmarena spec.

Wildfire S does have the Adreno 200 GPU. Not the Wildfire. It doesn't have any. The Wildfire S should be available before July, but, if you can't make it, the only viable alternatives I see is the LG Optimus One P500, which should fit your needs as as well.
Other alternatives would be the Samsung Galaxy 3, Galaxy 551, Videocon Zeus Evolve V7500 (lol), SE Xperia X10 Mini / Pro, SE Xperia X8 and the original LG Optimus GT540.
But, even then, go for one of the two: Wildfire S / LG O1 P500, in my view
Good Luck
Thanks man for your help.
Sold my wildfire 4months after buying.
Its good for a cheap.smart phone.
But id get the blade... Cheaper n easy to hack n free to unlock...

Infuse,Atrix or G2x

Hi guys I've been using X10 for enough time now -nearly 8 months- and want to change
I have three offers now
Infuse 4G
LG G2x (+25$)
Atrix. (+50$)
I'm asking you what wud u prefer in terms of Hardware, performance.,Style and UI and most importantly "development"?
Sorry I'm asking here cause here are the members I trust.want 2 know ur opinions pls..
Omar,

My favorite is atrix. 1Ghz Tegra 2 paired with 1Gb Ram is awesome, and the qHD screen it higher density too. Just for your info, it has a firgerprint scanner too!
And i think its official CM support is on the way too.
While G2x has the same processor, 512Mb ram but with official CM support.
I planning to get myself atrix next year though XD
yeah between those three definitely atrix
Thanks.it's unlocked to work with my GSM band in egypt....will I need to reunlock the SIM each time. I flash ROM/Kernel or bootloader?
Also to be sure that my budget can handle it ..what comes after atrix?

No sorry, I meant if I can't buy atrix should I choose G2x or infuse?
Also in that thread about 2012 line of SE I saw a comparison shows that OMAP4 is better than tegra2 terms performance & games.
Would that mean that optimus 3D is better than atrix? -they have the same price here-

I think because of the only one core & big screen which consumes more battery.
but also it's 1.2GHz 16GB and the cheapest.so it's in!!

Sent from my X10i using XDA App
Well infuse has good specs for being the cheaper but if can afford more without problems get the atrix
In my case would be the infuse(4g phone with a ginormous super amoled screen) but atrix is better in the long road
Sent from my X10a using xda premium
atrix for me,then if you cant get it go for g2x
Atrix! believe me, you will be surprised by its raw processing power...
So u guys don't prefer optimus 3D? I saw a video on youtube atrix vs optimus 3D and the latter was much faster
Sent from my X10i using XDA App
i'll saw both are equally good, but the 1GB ram in Atrix is a not match for 3D. 1Gb is more future proof.
guys, I am also considering Atrix, LG O2X and Xperia Arc. I can get these for the same price.
I use my phone mostly for browsing the web and reading the RSS. have anyone of X10 users seen the pentile display of Atrix? Have read that the fonts are not always clear, depending on the background.
Atrix is winning as the android phone with the best battery life (source) but I fear that the display would be a downgrade.
Thanks.
P.S.: sorry for hijacking the thread, but I think this is on topic and useful for OP.

Not as good as sgs2 obviously but still good..
In that list definitely don't buy arc, single core vs dual core? Easy decision

Anyone loving their Blade ?

I have had some good phones like BB storm,iPhone 3gs,SE satio,HTC dream,HTC magic but the ZTE Blade beats them all...mine is the version with 512mb and Amoled....its first and really snappy with CM7 nightly 257...I dunno about you but am a proud blade owner given the fee i paid and the features it has....

Blade's my first smartphone. I really love it, the sharp screen, the fit shape, as well the customized ROMs here and there, with an affordable price.
Two weeks ago I bought two blades for 40€ a piece for my parents. Zero contenders on the market in a price/performace/quality comprison. Updated both to Gingerbread custom ROMs on day 3. These buggers fly. Zero problems.

Sorry for OT, but Skate is really not worth it. It costs as much as Desire/S1900, but it has weaker performance(less that and the damn ARM7 processor which doesn't officially support Flash, Desire's Snapdragon processor is way better!)
So yeah, I don't know... Blade is good mobile. Because it's Android! Low price and high resolution screen makes it a easy choice, but right now, I wish I had bought better phone.

Happy that this was my first android before moving on to big guns.
It may not be the most beautiful and well constructed phone but it's the proof that you CAN get a very good phone with a reasonable amount of money.
It has passed its first birthday and it's still lovely!
just got this phone from a local guy who said he bricked it bought it for 5 euros. After some playing around with this phone to unbrick, root, upgrade gen and install custom rom i can say i am happy and impressed with it. Kind of feel sorry for the dude i got the phone from ^_^

thinking of buying an idea blade

Hi guys! I'm thinking of buying an idea blade and I really care about the battery life. So is anyone here getting around ~2 days. I don't use the phone much, except for wifi ~1hr/day and very less calls/messages.
thanks in advance
whyzee
you're probably pushing 2 days. I charge mine every night and it's usually at about 50-55% so 2 days could be done if it really is minimal use.
I also think this phone is getting very outdated now, I'd buy something else
For a little more money you could the Galaxy Ace or the Motorola Defy+. Way better phones

I reckon from my experience that u should go up for galaxy y. Here idea blade costs 5999 rs but a grand is all u need to change.
Plus blade's battery life is very poor especially if u connect to wifi

New Helio X20 Phones due end of September

What do you guys think about this 10 core processor? I've been reading it beats up the 820 and Samsung's processor as well. From my understanding it will be released by HTC and Xiaomi at the end of September. Xiaomi having 4GB RAM, are you tempted at all? It sounds next gen. I love this phone, truly I do, but its specs are hardly next gen, just spec bump...

How much $$ cause right now you can't beat the price for the value your getting from this device. How much more power do you need I havent found any sort of bottle neck with the current hardware... Plays every game lag free. Runs every app I have used smoothly. No need for it at this point in time.

That would be cool. Pair it with 64-bit OS and Samsung's new 6GB RAM, and you'll have a beast of a device. I'm not convinced it is totally necessary though.
