Anyone loving their Blade ? - Blade General

I have had some good phones like BB storm,iPhone 3gs,SE satio,HTC dream,HTC magic but the ZTE Blade beats them all...mine is the version with 512mb and Amoled....its first and really snappy with CM7 nightly 257...I dunno about you but am a proud blade owner given the fee i paid and the features it has....

I really do like it as well. For the price its an excelent phone, I enjoy nice design phones as well and Blade iself is in fact very elegant. HTC phones have never been my cup of tea design wise. If ZTE keeps releasing such phones I don't plan changing the manufacturer.

Am planning to swap it with a ZTE Skate

Blade's my first smartphone. I really love it, the sharp screen, the fit shape, as well the customized ROMs here and there, with an affordable price.

Two weeks ago I bought two blades for 40€ a piece for my parents. Zero contenders on the market in a price/performace/quality comprison. Updated both to Gingerbread custom ROMs on day 3. These buggers fly. Zero problems.

Sorry for OT, but Skate is really not worth it. It costs as much as Desire/S1900, but it has weaker performance(less that and the damn ARM7 processor which doesn't officially support Flash, Desire's Snapdragon processor is way better!)
So yeah, I don't know... Blade is good mobile. Because it's Android! Low price and high resolution screen makes it a easy choice, but right now, I wish I had bought better phone.

Love my blade. Though now I only use it as a sports GPS mapper with endomondo. Mp3 player. It has no sim in it so battery lasts for ages.
I also love it for some of the excellent roms it has for it.

Although I love my Arc my wife still uses a Blade and I have happy memories of my ownership. In the UK the Blade 2 is the same price so that is the one to go for.

I am in love with my blade.
Happy that this was my first android before moving on to big guns.

It may not be the most beautiful and well constructed phone but it's the proof that you CAN get a very good phone with a reasonable amount of money.
It has passed its first birthday and it's still lovely!

just got this phone from a local guy who said he bricked it bought it for 5 euros. After some playing around with this phone to unbrick, root, upgrade gen and install custom rom i can say i am happy and impressed with it. Kind of feel sorry for the dude i got the phone from ^_^

htc desire.
or, nexus s, galaxy s, desire hd.
I recently got a Desire for £120.00, lucky... so i'm flitting between them both, it's not too bad
I´ll wait one or only a half year because i like my Wildfire
But I think the Desire HD is the best at the moment if you choose another HTC device!
The ZTE Blade runs games amazing.
I have one, it only costed only 90 euro's here in Netherlands.

It is worth for buying?

I'm having xperia x10 mini pro.
Going to sell.
Then plan to buy Wildfire.
Wildfire is worth for buying to mini pro?
Main reason to sell mini pro is still can't crack the bootloader.
It having stable old 2.1rom but no stable froyo or gingerbread due to can't update kernel.
Or any other suggestions for that price?
Help me to buy.

In that case, even the Wildfire has only a TFT Screen. Yes, it has the advantage of 384MB RAM, but, with it's anemic CPU and no GPU, its not really that big of an advantage as it appears.
I would need to know your budget. If you can extend it to 21-22K, you can get the Desire actually. But, either way, I think it would be better for you to wait for the release of the next generation of the HTC devices in India. Even if they prove to be beyond your budget, it will atleast provide price drops on the existing ones. (As the Desire HD had on the Desire. Cost of Desire before DHD Launch was ~27k, and, after that, it settled at ~22k)
EDIT: Just saw your sig, and you have an SGS. Why would you want the Wildfire?
My dad having galaxy.
I want small mobile like wildfire.
I can't get correct spec of dell xcd35.
I saw spec of phobe on gsmarena.

Don't think so. Just look up ZTE Blade on GSMArena. It shows it does have a 3.5" headset jack. Also, doing a search for "Dell XCD35 on Google" brings up just one result which shows that the XCD35 doesn't have one, all the others state it does have one.
Anyway, since you are on the lookout for a small mobile, as I said in my first post in this thread, wait for the Wildfire S. It will probably the best fit for you.
Suggest me a good phone with 3.2" inch like wildfire.
Bcoz coming july I'm going to college.

Wildfire S does have the Adreno 200 GPU. Not the Wildfire. It doesn't have any. The Wildfire S should be available before July, but, if you can't make it, the only viable alternatives I see is the LG Optimus One P500, which should fit your needs as as well.
Other alternatives would be the Samsung Galaxy 3, Galaxy 551, Videocon Zeus Evolve V7500 (lol), SE Xperia X10 Mini / Pro, SE Xperia X8 and the original LG Optimus GT540.
But, even then, go for one of the two: Wildfire S / LG O1 P500, in my view
Good Luck
Thanks man for your help.

Its good for a cheap.smart phone.

gotta agree with you. IMO theres not anything new that can convince me to get a better phone. Unless my DHD is getting out of date cant use new apps anymore.
Same with my laptop its old, slow. but it does what i need from it. Extras are nice but aint important for me.
There is nothing new that would worth upgrading for.... Most of the phones in my country don't have nfc so I don't see any use of it...

+1 mate!
another DHD ditcher eh?
Getting my Att one x upgrade, then selling on CL. Waiting for a real smartphone with a effing sdcard slot. Not going backwards from 32gb sdcard to 9gb internal storage. What a joke.
I will gladly keep my Inspire until then!
Still a great phone!
Sent from my Inspire 4G using XDA
I think the DHD is still quite decent. I am starting to regret my "upgrade" to the Nokia Lumia 800. Somehow the Lumia battery life is considerably worse that the DHD, even with less usage and not having proper multitasking.
Yup, the DHD does everything and I when I cant do what I need to, I'll think about an upgarde.
I reckon when I get an upgrade HTC One X i'll give it to the Mrs.

Reasons why your still with the Nexus S?

Hey guys, I was a older nexus user and after getting many phones(I have a sensation) I'm getting a nexus again. I'm trading my senny for nexus S and a Samsung infuse 4g.
So why are you guys still with the nexus? Reasons?
Sent from my HTC Sensation 4G using XDA
Because I can't afford another phone. Lol. Well part of the reason. I actually enjoy the community support and see no other reasons to upgrade. My phone does what I need it to without any problems. My next phone will be a GNex, but I'll probably run this thing into the ground before then. At least I'll have saved up enough by then.
Sent by pocket technology
That's cool. For spem reason, this phone looks amazingly sexy. And in hand it feels the best than any other phone
Sent from my HTC Sensation 4G using XDA
I quite like my nexus, but the main reason is, that there is nothing extraordinary about new phones.
My nexus can perform smoothly, any task i need to do( i don't play games).
I'll upgrade at the end of the year,
hopefully till then , they will be able to sort the battery life and use more efficiently front panel,
to fit screen.
I'll would love, to have bigger screen, although not at cost of carrying mini tablet in my pocket.
Because I am not a fool that constantly goes out and buys the latest and greatest phones for a big e-peen.

Just buy a spare. Those cheap extended ones aren't really that much better in performance from reports I've seen online. You can't bump up the maHs without increasing the size of the batteries just yet.

Sent from my HTC Desire Z using xda premium
I think you should try to hold both of them in hand for a while so you can see if dna isn't too big for you. Imho comfort is more important than hardware since both are high end.
I haven't played with any, but I would go with the Droid DNA. From what i've heard, it is blazing fast. But ive also heard it feels like the iphone 5 but bigger. i.e. the remote control feel i like to say. It feels like you're holding a tv remote when using it with one hand but if that won't bother you, go for the DNA.
DNA Droid, simply because it has a full 1080p screen among other things under the hood but unfortunately there is no release date in the UK so ordered a Nexus 4 instead.
