Major WLan Problem - Windows 8 General

Hello guys...
Since 2-3 days i'm having a major Problem with my WLan connection on my Lenovo s3-10...
The Wlan connection always stops after ~5-10 minutes of veery slow loading sites and stuff. When I try to reconnect it always stucks at connection and tells me not beeing able to connect. I start the Network troubleshooter and after his run, it works;
for the next 10 minutes of smoke-signal-not-dsl-internet-speed...
YES, i have already installed the latest drivers and stuff and i already tried a solution saying Device manager -> deinstall driver -> restart -> reinstall driver -> restart...
Doesn't work either...
My friend had the same problem and i solved it by cmd -> netsh int reset resetlog.txt or something like this but on my Lenovo this Doesn't work..
So anyone have solution or an Idea how to fix it ??

Universal wireless modem com open error!

Has anyone else had this problem.
I am trying to set up wireless modem working with my laptop and my M5000. I've followed instructions by disabling activsync and incoming beams but I can not even get as far as installing drivers when I hit "START" on wmodem I get "COM OPEN ERROR" and it stops me getting any further.
Does anyone have any ideas?
Hey i had this problem in the beginning also.
don't know for shure but try first to disable GPRS and WLAN.
1. disable USB connection in active sync on your computer.
2. start USB modem app and press start
3. connect usb cable
4. install drivers
5. start USB_modem.exe to connect. (no username or password needed)
Something has changed now. I have stoped my GPS bluetooth from using serial port (although it wasn't running at the time). Now I can install drivers and I've set up modem as per instructions in earlier thread. Now I start WModem and plug USB in with no active sync and nothing happens. window says connecting but nothing actually connects and status does'nt change. latter this connection after about 3 mins will time out with communication error 777.
Any more ideas would be appreciated.
sorry dude can't help you out. don't know what went wrong. Try to disconnect everything and try again.

Activesync detects K-Jam but does not connect

When I connect the K-Jam to the PC, using a USB cable, ActiveSync 4.1 detects the device. It starts connecting but it doesn't get a real connection. After a few minutes, it stops connecting.
I tried several soft resets, but they didn't help. Sync did work on a previous installation of Windows XP (SP2) but on a freshly installed system, I can't get it to work.
When I connect the device I do get an error saying "a duplicate name exists on the network". But I have no idea on how to solve this.
There is no firewall or anti-virus software installed.
If read about MTU in other threads, but I can't find that entry in the registry.
Who can help me out?
(PS trying to sync via Bluetooth is also not working )
Try changing the PDA name.....
..... go to Start > Settings > System > About > Device ID.
change the device ID and see if it will connect.
I had a problem like this with an old Dell X50 that would not let me sync when I had done a restore. There are ways to resolve the issue but I can't remember them off the top of my head. See if the name change works first though.
Good luck

Hi. I tried this, but it didn't work. So I did a hard reset and tried it again. And now, it's working fine again.

HELP!! Windows 7 cannot sync with HTC TyTn

Connecting my device to my windows 7 pc does jack ****. Every time it tries to install some 'Generic Driver Serial', which then fails, and WMDC doesn't connect. I don't know why. Similarly, on the device activesync there is no option to 'sync', just bull**** about making sure i have synchronization software. WMDC seems to be a large step BACK from activesync.
You could try to change the "Enable advanced network functions"-setting in Start -> Settings -> System -> USB to PC.
I had the same problem and this helped.

Automatic updates needs to download an "optional" update for HTC devices... Connect Hermes and do an update... Seems to be a mongrel to do but works fine once its installed...

now all i gotta do is find a way to get internet sharing to work

Omnia 2 i8000l wifi disappeared

after installing a few apps on my new bell omnia 2 i8000l windows mobile 6.5
my wifi disappeared. all options for it are gone. turning it on from
wireless manager , its missing from the other option of bluetooth phone and airplane mode.
after following the instructions i found here(http://www.modaco.com/content/i8000...earing-problem-with-wm6-5-a-partial-solution/)
i found the best help yet.
It's the WIFI driver that stop responding for an unknown reason. If you have SKTools, just go into the "Devices driver" menu and restart "$device\NDL1". To do that use the STOP then START action and the WIFI should come back.
this is working fro me at this time. not the best solution but it is working..
this is the info i know
my versions numbers are
wifi
s/w 1.2.2.6
h/w 1.0
os
5.2.21856 build 21856.5.0.65
the driver
swldm20_oc.dll
396k
406164 bytes
created 10/22/09 9:21 pm
if someone has a newer of different swldm20_oc.dll file please post it if you have no wifi problems
its in the windows directory
thank you for any help as i try to sort out this problem

[Feb 12] [Q] Cannot connect with ActiveSync

Installed BsBTweaks on my HTC HD2, but now ActiveSync won't connect to my phone. PC O/S is Win XP SP2. I'm running WinMo 6.5 and have the latest ROM for the device from my provider, version 3.14.531.1. I get the message: "Critical communication services have failed to start. Try resetting the mobile device, and then connect again." I haven't yet made any changes to the device using BsBTweaks, I only installed it. Have tried rebooting the phone to no avail. I have to use Disk Drive mode to get at the pictures on my SD card. Is there a way to get ActiveSync working again? I'd probably donate to the developers if this problem could get corrected and I can reasonably figure to keep and use BsBTweaks. Thanks.

Restarted the PC - worked like a charm. Thanks a million. I can breathe again.
...And I just made a modest donation. Thanks very much.
Troubleshooting Sync Connection with Your Computer
You can often solve any temporary sync connection problems by disconnecting your phone from the sync cable, waiting a few seconds, and then reconnecting it. However, sometimes you may experience persistent problems related to your network connection (for example, your Internet connection). You may be unable to sync your phone while there is an active network connection on your computer, or the network connection may be cut when you connect your phone to your computer. If this happens, you can try switching to a serial USB connection for your phone:
1. On the Home screen, slide to the Settings tab.
2. Tap Menu > All Settings > Connections > USB to PC.
3. Clear the Enable faster data synchronization check box.
4. Tap Done.
