GSM Palm Pixi Plus Unlocked $55 - Member-Found Deals

Newegg is selling the GSM unlocked version of the Palm Pixi Plus for $55 with free shipping and no tax in most states.
It has 8GB of internal memory, aGPS, WiFi, AT&T 3G, 2.63" capacitive touch screen at 320 x 400 pixels of resolution. It runs webOS and would be a decent addition to a Touchpad for those who have them and love webOS.
I will warn you that the keyboard may not fit larger hands.
Linky.

The rear cover on these fails (rubber "peels away from the plastic). If you buy on , get a $ 3 2 piece coated hard plastic case at ebay to prevent this from happening
The phone is ok for what it is ( Palm OS ).

UK XDA Exec incarnation for sale

Has all original packaging and manuals, couple of spare styli, charger, data cable, unused case etc, it all works, there are a few cosmetic marks (no scratches on the screen), but they’re just that - cosmetic, don’t affect the function in any way shape or form. These will be well detailed in photos which I'm taking over the weekend.
There are two small dents in the metal plate on the back of the screen (they have to be small, any half decent sized dent there cracks the screen), and a small rub mark where I mistakenly put keys and XDA in same pocket once.
The black has rubbed from the outer corner of each hinge bit (the bits which protrude upwards from the main body/keyboard section of the device), and the usual shiny spots above/below the screen, and on some keys.
Collected today from the O2 shop after going away for repair - there was a problem with the headset socket which made the phone think that the headset was still plugged in - the phone has a brand new circuit board installed, and has also had the hinge tightened up. It may or may not have had the screen replaced, there is a sticker over it with the hinge instructions on, which I haven't removed, so I don't know if it's a new screen or not - no scratches or unreliable spots though - works like a charm.
Includes 2GB SD card, and would consider including the dual sim adapter too.
Asking £200, but open to offers (including 8GB ipod nano 2nd generation)
Delivery in UK = parcel2go.com next day insured to £250 = £12.99 + VAT (£15.26)
Alternatively your choice of courier/delivery method if insurance is adequate or you're happy for it to go uninsured (you'd be mad to, but there you go)
Delivery is possible outside the UK, but talk to me to discuss postage
Bank transfer or paypal accepted, cheque possible, but dispatch would have to wait until cheque cleared.
Is this still for sale?
message sent. Cash waiting because I broke mine
Yup, still for sale.

[Q] Average Price for Front LCD+Digitizer Kits?

I'm curious to how much a typical front screen self-replacement kit runs for? How much did you pay for the front screen assembly and please include links if you are happy with your Nexus 4 after the self repair.
I just cracked the front screen on my phone today and i'm debating whether it is worth it to just sell it on ebay or repair it myself. Sending it to LG is a little too pricey for my tastes considering I only paid 200 dollars for it.
The Drawback to selling it on Ebay is that you will probably only get like 90-100 bucks for it if your front screen is cracked
http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_nkw=nexus+4+lcd+assembly
So you are essentially going to have to spend 100 bones to fix it yourself, hmmm. Really wish the nexus 4 wasn't so freaking fragile

Crap. Need phone replacement/repair options.

My S4 screen got two hairline cracks about a month ago and expanded a little. The phone was working fine but this was bugging me. I went to Amazon and purchased a new OEM replacement glass (cost me $4; skeptical on the OEM claims). Anyway I removed the old glass successfully with a heat gun and a plastic iPhone tool and removed all the old adhesive off.
Being stupid I peeled the black adhesive and balled it up. I went to put on the new glass and I realized the new glass doesn't come with adhesive on it. After installing it I then realized that I actually cracked the LCD (I guess from the pressure when I was pressing a bit on the glass to make contact with the adhesive I thought came on the glass). Anyway, my phone doesn't turn on now (screen is dead) although the phone still works. I removed the screen again and threw everything in a box.
I'm without my personal phone now and I'm stuck using my company phone for the time being for personal stuff. I looked at Amazon and the replacement LCD is $200. I'm not on a contract with this phone and don't want to sign a contract with AT&T or I lose my current minute package I have. I purchased this device from Craigslist from some guy for $400 a couple of months back.
What is the best route to repair this? Keep in mind I don't have insurance since I purchased this outright. This is the 32GB model. Should I just sell it AS-IS on Craigslist? How much should I ask?
By the way I think Gorilla Glass is BS. My phone fell about 4 inches on the ground and got two cracks.

Sell it as-is, ask around $150 - $200... someone who knows how to fix it will gobble it up. Take that money and spend a little extra and buy a Nexus 5 from Google. At least this is what I'd do...
If you really intend on keeping it.

Agreed. I'd rather have the Nexus 5 anyway.
Really sorry to hear about your phone though. I personally wouldn't risk replacing the LCD, you may break something else while inside..
If anybody wants to buy it let me know via PM. If not, I'll just hang on to it until the S5 comes out. I'm sure the price of the LED screen will drop.
I purchased another S4 (16GB model in White). It sucks because the broken one is a 32GB.
Update: Sold the phone to some guy who owns a cell phone shop for $175. Not bad.

glass replacement advice

I just bought a used one that has some cracks in one corner. However, touch functions work perfectly. I am seeing replacement front glass on the Bay for around $10-12, is that all I really need?
I would probably pay a shop to do it. I've damaged lcd's before doing exactly this. Being to firm and aggressive. The whole thing including lcd is $90.
That is almost half of what I bought the phone for. Initially I bought this for only the camera and use as data device (google-fi). But I am going to switch this device as my phone-phone. I was using Xperia XZ1Compact which I love, then to note9 now. I have big storage but I hate the size, weight, balance of the phone. And it is slippery, I've dropped it a lot, cracked outter back lens. I think I will repair that then sell it. Maybe use that as data/alternate. its 1tb
