[Q] WEI stops responding while it says TUNING WINDOWS MEDIA DECODING. - Windows 8 General

I'm using AMD graphics card (radeon hd 4650 1gb ddr2). I installed the catalyst drivers for windows 7 on windows 8 CP. Now when I try to run windows experience index (WEI) it stops responding at "tuning windows media deccoding". I think it is a graphics driver problem, because when I disable the graphics card from device manager the WEI is calculated.
Is there any work around for this.

After registering I just get the error message device not supported.
As the desktop version runs in WMP with DRM add in -I think it should run WM 5. Mobile media player.

CPU Usage

does anyone know of a tool that will display the cpu usage of a windows mobile system. Also are audio only streams decoded in software or using the media co processor when being played by windows media.

There is a 32bit version only, search for android x86.
Even then though, it is TRULY unsuitable for that application. You really should seek out a desktop linux distro and use a media center interface, like xbmc or mythtv. With android, you would NOT get accelerated video playback, and you would be SEVERELY limited by the interface.

Can't transfer my videos from the phone to my PC

Hi
I have recorded some video clips on my Omnia 7, today I then wanted to send them to my PC in Zune, but somehow it dont work When I try I can see it is working 1%-100% but when finished theres no video saved on my PCs harddisk.
In Zune theres a ! sign with some errors saying error code: C00D11E4
Is there any solution for this error? Anyone else having this problem or am I the only one? I am running the latest Zune software and have 7008 firmware on the phone.
Its pretty annoying that I cant transfer my videos to my PC
??
I tried now to install Zune on two different desktop PCs both with Windows 7, both gives me the error C00D11E4 (800C000E) when I want to transfer my recorded videos from the phone to the pc.
Then I tried to install Zune on a latop running Windows XP. And it worked the first time!!!
There must be some kind of error with Zune and Windows 7? or was I only lucky that it works on the Windows XP laptop?
I have the same issue with HD video (720p) normal videos (VGA) sync fine, also have the same fix i.e works on xp laptop (although video doesnt play on laptop) but I can tranfer it to my desktop
so does zune work on windows XP or you got lucky?
Zune works fine in XP
