[Q] Good ROM that works with 3500mah third-party battery? - HD2 General

Wondering if anyone knows a good ROM that will work with this battery. It's this one here:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/11077210415...X:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649#ht_1437wt_1163
Had it in WP7 and felt like the original battery almost.
Now on Sensation XL and giving this a go.

This is not orginal battery, don"t buy this. May damage phone...

More Battery life?

I was wondering if there was any kind of extended battery besides the one that came with the 8525/hermes/ttyn/whatever you wanna call it. the included one barely gets me thru the day if I really use it. is there an extended battery with more life? or was I just pampered by having a nokia before this phone?
also where can I find a 3mm headphone attachment? the htc site has neither

Extended Battery Information!

Hi guys, long time lurker first time posting.
I have the Droid Eris and just picked up the Imagio today to see which I like best.
I noticed when pulling the cover off the imagio the plug/adapter and battery all looked very familiar. After further review it is in fact the EXACT same battery that HTC puts into the Droid Eris. I happened to order a Innocell Extended battery from Seidio. I pushed it in and it worked like a champ!
I cant post links yet but the product information is:
Product Code: BASI17HHRV
Innocell 1750mAh Slim Extended Life Battery
Under HTC Eris on their webpage.
www . seidioonline . com
Hope this helps some of you!
Link?
Is this what you were looking at? I hope so, I'd love to be able to get more battery life out of my phone!

I really don't mean this in the negative way it will sound, but...
The stock battery is 1500mah & replacing it with a 1750mah battery isn't worth thinking about less you have destroyed your stock lipo entirely & can not have it replaced (which verizon & HTC do)

I had it around from my Eris, and I do notice a longer battery life out of the 1750. I especially need it as my apartment is like norad and I dont have much signal there, so it hops in and out of signal range, putting a drain on my battery.

[Q] After Market Batteries suck with Android???

I've seen posts about it, but have yet to find a thread addressing it. I have been doing Forum and Google searches but have found nothing.
So what is the deal? I have an Andida battery that was great with Win Mo, but I'm convinced it causes problems in Android due to trial and error testing.
I start with a fresh build with the stock HTC battery and it rules. Then I run out of juice and switch to the after market and I lose data connection, wake up lag, and other wierdness.
I've also done fresh installs with a task29 and low level format of the sd card , using a fresh data image and if I do the same with the After Market and the Stock, the build used with the stock battery works and the same build with the After Market has problems right away.
Anyone having the same experience as me? Anyone know what the deal is?
I just purchased a spare OEM battery for 11 bucks off of ebay/USA seller. Hope it's the real deal.
***MOD PLEASE MOVE THIS TO THE HD2 ANDROID GENERAL DISCUSSION FORUM. MY BAD!***
I have found this same problem. I also have an andida battery that was awesome in winmo but sucks in android. I now use the stock battery first and the andida only when the stock dies. It used to be vice versa.
I have a andia battery and a extend battery , and both of them work fine

And this is why I need to know what's up. Doesn't seem likely to me that a battery can make a difference, but it certainly does on my phone.
is it possible that its just a faulty battery?
Or a whole bunch of faulty cheap batteries that have poorly regulated power?
I have a 2400mAh "Replacement For Touch HD 2" battery that gives my phone a hump, I got it for 12 bucks off ebay and it works great in winmo and android... my phone suffers from android sleep of death with both oem and third party batteries that I have though I think this is a mem card issue though.

Rom Question

Ive been away from HD2 for a bit and need to flash a new rom for my wife. She is going out of the country and needs a rom that gets good battery life. Any suggestions would be a big help. Thx!!

this one goes well with 'ladies'
I found BLUETOPIA HD to be pretty good on battery life. I would also check out this thread. I didn't see some huge improvement as stated in the post on my battery life but I did notice it lasting maybe a couple extra hours. which is still pretty great. I think its worth taking a look.
oh and I found TyphooN CyanogenMod 7 Nightly v3.4.2 & Moto-MyTouch4G to be pretty good on battery life as well. i would just get a few suggestions and flash each one. see which one you like and gets the best battery life. I would let each rom settle down after you flash it & restart it a few times to really get an accurate battery drain out of it. I also found on ebay 2 spare batteries and a wall charger for around $10. you can even request it to be a different wall charger for the country your going to with some sellers.

Where to buy OEM Extended battery?

So I want to buy the extended battery for my HD2, as it's battery only lasts about the course of a day with normal usage in airplane mode . I am going to be getting service for it come Christmas, and I want the battery to last me all day, so I figured the extended would be fine. However, I can't find the OEM/official from HTC extended one. I don't want a knockoff, and I need it shipped to the US [ specifically Arizona]. Does anyone know where I can get one?
Also, are there any 3rd party extended battery back covers? the plastic ones are so ugly, if there are any metal ones I would definitely buy one!
Google Mugen Battery, it is one of the best 3rd party solutions out there.

Thank you! But will this work with Android? I know there's certain kernels that support extended battery, but most of them say only the OEM one
