just installed HyperDroid 1.6 on my HD2. Smooth install but now the music player wont recognize my music files. opened file explorer and tried to manually launch them and it says the file type is not recognized (.mp3). Any help? Comments? All greatly appreciated, thanks.
I had the same problem (kinda), got a bunch of music in .flac format, but the thing refused to play them (even though the ROM I was using supports it)
I solved it by re-installing the ROM (deleting android folder and copying new)
Or if you don't want to do that you can install an app called "meridian media player" from the android market, it should allow you to play the music.
P.S. I'm using this as my android ROM
Meh, will try the bone stock cyanogen one you linked me. Really like the one i have, seems to have a larger resolution and is a lot smoother. Is the one you linked similar?
has anyone been successful in installing a functional dsp equalizer on a rooted stock rom?
i tried installing dsp manager on iced glacier 1.1.6 (extracting it from an earlier version of Iced Glacier) with no luck. The apk installed but had no effect on sound parameters.
Thanks in advance.
i have android commander on my pc and i used it to install dsp just to see what it does. it worked and i played with the settings but i still dont hear any difference. maybe i used it wrong but i got it to install.
pm me if you need the link to the application for windows!
Hi, I've recently got a Nook Simple Touch and so far I've successfully rooted it and installed norefresh, but when it comes to getting multi touch i have problems...
a) I can't install Rom Manager or ClockworkMod recovery (google play won't show them to me, says they are incompatible), I've installed Rom toolkit lite instead..
b) When I do try and install apk of Rom manager, android says it cannot parse the file.
c) When I do try and install the multitouch update zip file(with Rom Toolkit lite), it asks me to install Rom Manager, of which I cannot install!
I'm no android developer but is there a way around this?

Dude, what?
Where did you get the idea to install ClockworkMod via google play?
Forum's search function is still down?
- Download one of the CWM img's from here
https://code.google.com/p/nst-recovery/downloads/list
- burn it to microSD
- copy update.zip onto this microSD
- Turn on NOOK with CWM microSD inside
- install update from zip
Hi all!
First off, sorry for my bad English (its not my main language)
Just rooted the Phone with easyroot and installed TWRP 2.6.x.x
Just installed the Viperaudio file (through play store and the download link in XDA) And i cant get the volume boost or equalizer to work...
Viperaudio didnt asked me for root acces but when i check it with the Root checker app i have Root acces + i have superuser installed on my device!
Also installed the right driver for the LG (8 with NEON) and nothing works... equaliser doesnt work and the volume boost doesnt work either
Did i do something wrong?
P.S. I have the international version of the LG G2

The links arent working..
Tried this: uninstalled everything and installed busybox via Smart install, then installed Viperaudio and the driver.
Restarted my device and it still isnt working ... hmmpf
When i play a song with poweramp it doenst work (no sound)
When i uncheck the first option in Viper (V4A-SpeakerFX) the sound is back!
When i check the setting to "on" my sound is gone :/
If you have it up and running, did you encounter some issues with the volume level? I fell that it's the same level audio in headphones even if it's 10% or 100%.. While running the stock settings, it works fine..
I found that viper audio does not work with downloaded songs in Google music or music unlimited. It works only when streaming which is useless to me.
Sent from my VS980 4G using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
