Dear All,
About 10 days ago I upgraded my TyTN to Cingular's 2.06 ROM and then updated my Radio to 1.38. Ever since I have been unable to receive the body of any e-mail message - frustrating as I have only been recently successful in getting Fonix Voice Central 3.1 running to be able to read my e-mails to me.
I run my office pop3 and Gmail on my device and both receive headers and attachments with no apparent problems.
I have tried all the various settings in Outlook - "Get full copy of messages" v "Get message headers only" with "include 999 KB of message body". I've included "recent:" in front of my user id.
I have MS Voice Command 1.6 UK ver running and have applied the various tweaks to make that work. I've also applied most of the other tweaks that have been identified in various threads to fix various other problems with this ROM. It is possible of course that I have inadvertently changed something which has had the effect of stopping me seeing the body of the messages.
Has anyone else had a similar issue? Can anyone suggest a registry setting that might be causing this? As always any help would be most gratefully received.
Does anyone know if the "valkyrie leo.sms.client1.43.cab" works properly on the touchpro2?
From my experience, I installed it and everything loads up properly but it seems as though my messages are not being sent to the recipient.
If anyone can help with some information on this, please respond.
Currently i am running CELLPRO V10.1 ROM that uses the old threaded sms.
hey
I have a nexus one running the latest rogdriguez mod for miui. I am having a problem with the messaging app. I cannot use the voice input from the swype keyboard to send a message. When i do the field remains blank. Is there a way to fix this? Is it possible to take the messaging app from the stock froyo and put it in? If so where would i get the stock messaging apk from?
Thanks in advance
Have you tried any other SMS apps from the market e.g. chomp sms or handcent?
I use swype but i can't say i've tried the voice side of things on MIUI.
Did it ever work?
Swype is not compatible on all roms and at the minimum you need to uninstall and reinstall with your invite info they first sent you in an email.
Also, I would try Rod's Forum for help first, if you haven't already.

The other problem that I am having is that when i set up facebook to only sync with my contacts it ends up syncing all my facebook contacts. Is there a solution?
thanks...i am now using handcent
Can anybody please upload the original Life's good ringtone and the good morning tone because I am on a custom ROM and those are the only things I miss from the stock ROM. If you can't upload anywhere else just private message me so I can give you my mail address.

Hi,
Is this them (I think): https://www.dropbox.com/s/01mfet7fb1ts6tk/LG_sound.rar?
No need via email or PM, if someone else wants them, they are here...
I recently updated my Defy to the latest CM11 2014-07-25 build.
Everything seems to be great, but I realized that I cannot send SMS anymore, whenever I send an SMS to any number I get "Message Not Sent" error immediately. I am able to receive all SMS without any issues.
I did find related threads for other phones with CM11, which suggest to disable voice+, but there is no voice+ setting for the Defy build.
Does anyone else face similar issue ?
Anyone has any solution to this ?
No one else faces this issue? Today I updated again to the latest 2014-07-31 build and I still cannot send an SMS
Check SMSC from the dialer hidden menu (dial *#*#4636#*#*)

My defy use CM11 2014-08-24 nightly.
I get the same issue with "Message Not Sent" error.
But i can receive all SMS without issues, too.
After checking SMSC number. My outbound SMC works fine now.
You could check it with your telecom, or just google it by "SMSC number <your telecom company name>".
Hope it is helpful for you.
