[Q] Purchase current Iconia or wait?

Ok so I've been wanting to get a tegra2-3 based tablet and the transformer prime is epic fail :/ soooo I've been watching sites like woot and have noticed that all the refurbs w/ the Iconia 500 are ~300$
I'm just not sure if its worth getting an refurb 32gb A500, old transformer, A200, or the new Acer tablets that come out in Q2?
I read the tablet is kinda heavy but honestly I just don't know if the thickness of the will be a bad thing plus no IPS on the old and new display, so I'm not sure if I should wait or get the new model.

The iconia is a great tablet. That said, the tech available now is always cheaper and has the bird in the hand advantage. The stuff available tomorrow is always shinier and flashier. You have to drop the hammer sometime, do you want a great tab now or a possibly greater one in 6 months?

The Iconia A510 is announced for March with Tegra III and a battery capacity of 9.800 mAh, which is more than 30% higher than that of the A500. I would wait for the A510, as it will provide much better perfromance for presumably 100 bucks more.

If you just WANT!!!! the tablet i would wait .. if you have to have it Wait. Wait until they are released and see if they are rooted..See how Development for such tablet pans out..But as stated above waiting for the next best thing will likely keep you without a tablet . I usually wait and buy when its closer to end of life and prices have dropped. I did pre order my a500. only regret is updates being so slow and the device being locked down by acer. thou this has mostly been over come.
So i would wait unless I found a very awesome Deal...
As far as the 9.800 mAh Battery.. of course is has a more powerful batter . Its processor is way more double.. if YOU LOOK At in perspective . IT Will be less Battery life compared to the battery in the a500.. So im guessing it will be about equal...
Sorry to kill your battery run time theory. Thou the t 3 has a added advantage to suspend mode. with there 5 th core. I will not get into that here

Try searching google for pc parts ohio.... I bet if you look at their "tablets" inventory.... you might find something to change your mind and make you buy an Iconia a500 right NOW. I did.... i'll never regret it!

Don't think so. Several blogs mention a battery life of 18 hours. This is of course an exaggeration, but suggests that a longer battery life can be expected compared with the A500, which has a battery life of 11 hours according to official specs.

Just get juice defender and love your battery for who he/she is ^_^.

The A500 has the most bang for your buck and is one of the better mid-range tablets, but it isn't without issues.
I got the 16 GB model for about $320 (new) several months back and would still get it again as of today (i.e. if I lost or broke my tablet). However, with a slew of Tegra 3's around the corner you can bet the price for these last-generation models will fall even more.
If you can wait until April then you will save another $50-100 if you go with the A500. Then again, you may fall in love with the new ones. It all depends if you need/want a tablet computer now (I do).
Now, that said.... I do have some minor issues with the A500 after using it for 6 months. The microphone is completely useless due to a design flaw, and the screen is not as vivid as the Samsung or Motorola counterparts. If money was no object I probably would have gotten the XOOM.... but at the end of the day I also enjoy seeing that extra $200 in my pocket that I saved by getting the A500.

In the reviews at least it was mentioned multiple times that the xoom screen was worse than the a500 and the sammy/asus had the best. Though I'm going to prob get a refurb tablet now w/ a large warranty so I can get a larger mem cap + add a sdhc card. If I waited I'd need to pay an extra 200$, but the A510 might be better so yeah im completely unsure. Sadly the Flyer is the only tablet I've seen that can use an actual pen like object to accurately write notes with.
Also does anyone have an ipad and a500? I've been trying to find a thickness comparison for a while but google has failed me. I don't want an ipad, I just know the overall dimensions to compare.

I haven't used the Asus except for a few minutes in BB, but I heard they had some pretty bad ghosting issues that ours didn't have.
As far as the iPad comparison, I believe ours is pretty close size-wise, if not just a bit smaller than the iPad. I'm sure you could find measurements of both on the internet, though.

Considering purchasing a new tablet? Tablets are becoming more and more popular these days and they’re slowly going to be a must-have gadget for all households. Here are two of the latest slates compared in terms of basic features, so you can decide which one you should buy: the popular iPad 2 or the recently released Acer Iconia Tab A500.
In the beginning, we’ll take a brief look at their design and exterior dimensions. The iPad 2 comes in two possible colors: black or white. Its exact dimensions are as follows: 9.50 x 7.31 x 0.34 (241.2 x 185.7 x 8.8 mm) and it weighs 613 grams. The Acer Iconia Tab A500 is thicker and heavier, though, its dimensions being 10.24 x 6.97 x 0.52 (260 x 177 x 13.3 mm ) and weighing in at 730 g. It turns out that the iPad 2 is a little more portable and sleek than the Acer tablet.

I did google it, many times but I was looking for pictures, the physical dimensions are easy to locate, but the picture thickness comparison is something else.
Hmm forgot I had a phone, the thickness on my thunderbolt is a bit larger overall

You mean the 32gb microsd card? Still unsure if its worth getting a A510 because I mean the current 1 is rootable, plays games, movies, ebook, tough?, 300$ for a 32gb refurb, and idk what else.
I will be honest, I have no intention of paying more than 400$ for a tablet hence the refurb. Thats why I'm unsure about the other ones that offer similar things. The one exception is the Transformer Prime, but Asus messed it up and isn't recalling soo...

The Iconia is a lot thicker, but I'm glad it is, because it feels harder and stronger in the hand.
Comparing to the iPad, the Iconia has a 10.1 inch screen, while the iPad has a 9.7 screen. The iPad is more square like, so it looks bigger, but in fact, the Iconia is a little bigger.

Actually, I meant, that if you look around, (it is hard to find, I got mine from www.Futureshop.ca) you can get a new, not refurb, Acer Iconia A500 with 64 GB Internal storage, for $400.00 plus taxes. Add the 32 GB microsd, & you will have 96 GB of storage.

And to top it off, you should be able to run a 64Gb sd card and plug in an NTFS drive, I use a 1Tb HDD, thats some MAJOR mojo the ipad 2 can't even try to compete with....

I was surprised that the a500 takes microsdxc though ive never seen higher than 64 gb. The one problem I have now is that some newer games like borderlands idk if its tegra3 required or tegra2 is acceptable. Though they haven't mentioned it, might as well wait. Acers Official ebay page seems to always have it.

Just checked price today, 64 GB A500 is now down to 449.00 @ Futurshop.ca.

Is the battery life a reason to wait till 510?

There's a epic deal on 1saleaday and I've been eying the A500 or a while, but I'm still not sure if I should get it because of the battery life (6hours?) and older gpu.
It was that or the getting a A700 or A510 or Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (For the pen input). All about 10-12 hours batt life.
All of them have microsdhc *prob xc too* , but the battery life and form of decent note taking is important to me. Thats why I'm leaning towards the Galaxy, but those will cost twice as much as the a500.
Price wise I can get it, but I'm just not sure if its worth getting the new stuff.
If it doesn't sell out I got about 7 hours to decide.

I won't pretend to know what you want or need in a tablet. I can only say this. If my Iconia A500 broke right now, I would definitely buy one just like it today without pause.
My battery life is fine and with one of the ICS leaks it is lightning fast. I wouldn't even consider a different option right now. I think that a highly functional dock is the only thing that any other Android tablet has over on it right now. Other than that this is a premier device.

Can those fat stylus's be used to take accurate notes?
The ones that work on all tablets, its why I asked because the note 10.1 is supposed to act like a walcom pen

I just tried it with Handwrite Pro. I don't usually use the stylus so maybe I just lack the proper feel for it. But my experience was less than stellar. It was too slow to use for faster note taking. I could get words in accurately, but not whole sentences. If you want I can try a different app.

at the moment i would wait. there are TONS of tegra 3 tablets coming out. from a new low end transformer with tegra 3, to the A510, to a 10" kindle fire a google nexus tablet and more! this is the year of android tablets

^ If you're gonna wait for Tegra 3, might as well wait for Tegra 4; after all, that's not far away. And if you're gonna wait for Tegra 4, you might as well hold on for Tegra 5, or 6, or 7. After all, they won't be long after their predecessors.
The point being, if you're gonna wait for new tech, you'll always be waiting. Buy the device that suits your needs NOW, or procrastinate forever.

If the deciding factor is battery life, all I can say is my average is about 8 hours. If using Netflix I can watch four 45 min episodes before I get any low battery notices.
I am extremely happy with my a500, does everything I need.

Tegra 3 = now and in near future (depending on brand loyalty)....It actually makes sense to wait for Tegra 3.

Yeah I would go tegra 3 nothing wrong with our tab but since you haven't committed yet go with the newest tech

i'm looking at the price points. the price will go down on the tegra 3. So if its not an immediate need then waiting is always the option. I agree that tegra 4 will come out eventually but you have to give yourself a time frame in which to buy things. I want a tegra 3 @ $350 - $399 sometime this year. current market conditions does not allow tablets to be at this price range yet. But If i wait 6 - 8 more months i can easily get the price to be in my comfort zone. New tegra 4 will be expensive when it comes out but i don't need the cutting edge processors/tablets. just something that is smooth and works and not apple.

The T-Prime is only $100.00 over what you stated as your limit. IMHO it's worth every dime at $499.00 right now, although I'm certain that price will drop once again within the next three months.
I wouldn't go back to an A500 after being on a Teg3 tablet. While you can't miss what you never had, once you do, it's tough, if not impossible even considering taking a step backwards, and I very much enjoy my Prime! I sold my A500 for $300.00 on CL, put $208.00 more into it for a Prime...once again IMHO.....worth every dime!

I do believe acers tegra 3 seven device will debut at 250 dollars, well if price is the is main thing this tablet will be getting cheaper and is definitely getting ICS so it will be a nice smooth experience

I would stay away from a500 if your a regular on XDA. Mostly because outside of the devs we have now there are few users here that feel the need to troll other users in our small community

Hey guys i need your help urgently ! !
I am in a big trouble of buying a smartphone.My 2 choices are galaxy s3 and note.
these are the points that i like about each:-
galaxy s3:-
1.Best performance
2.Lots of added features
3.one of the best camera with burst mode too
4.Great battery life
5.WOLFSON
galaxy note:-
1.bigger better screen imo(its brightness is about 100 cd/m2 more than s3)
I know that s3's ppi is better but that mere 15ppi doesnt mean anything to me
2.Its by far much better looking than s3

My main reason for loving the note more than the s3 is its SCREEN.Its sooo bigger and hence better for browsing,gaming,movies etc.
So here my maib questions are:-
1.Is the performance soo much better on s3 than note,specially the gpu?
because i love gaming and the gpu performance is what i need the most ! !
2.I heard and have seen that the ui of s3 so fluent that its now on par with iphone?Then how will be the ui of note?

Get note if u want a larger screen and the fns of an s pen
Else go for s3

once you use the note you cannot go back to a smaller screen. if you ain't used to the note's screen, go with the s3, it's much better spec'd. you'll need it!

For gaming, the S3 or xperia play (i love mine)
For anything else, galaxy note.
(I think they have the same camera hardware, and software features will probably be ported.)

According to several reviews, all too often you won't even feel the benefit of the quad cores on the s3. It has same pentile Amoled type screen as Note (except it is much larger on Note). Plus, this whole 'inspired by nature' thing just seems a little too desperate a marketing technique for me (imho). I would go for the Note.
Best idea maybe would be to maybe have a half hour play with both in a highstreet store when s3 is released, to make your own mind up...before choosing the Note ;-)

Well if you're considering the S3, why not through the HTC One X into the equation?
Although I love the idea of having the best specs, I doubt I would be able to tell the difference in terms of CPU (HTC One X and S3 being QUAD core) and RAM as all of the devices seem quite comparable and I haven't noticed any QUAD optimised apps yet, so I would think the user experience for me would be more important.
For me, personally, it comes down to mainly the following:
1. Cost (The Galaxy Note is a bargain right now - I paid £550 in November 2011)
2. Screen Size (I love the Notes Screen and don't think I could go any smaller)
3. UI and Battery Life (From my experience HTC smart phones have crap battery!!! I have owned a HTC Desire, HTC Desire HD and a bag of pre-Android HTC phones)
4. Longevity of the Device (Life-span for updates eg. although the Galaxy Note came out on GB I still bought it because I feel that it will continue to be supported for a while due to the device being an important milestone for Samsung. I'm hoping to get two updates out of the Note and when it stops being supported officially, I'm sure there will be some unofficial updates, or I trade-in for a Galaxy Note 2!!!)

It really depends what you prefer, or how you prefer things to be done with the device.
For me the only upgrade for the Note would be the Note 2, as the S3 which was very tempting for me too (some special features, Quadcore (just because I'm a bit freakish 'bout hardware and not because I really need it ^^) in the end has no S-Pen (bad for me, I hate browsing the internet without it) and is too small (tried that size and I don't want anything smaller than 5,3 inches). Also I do not need the new hardware as I don't play 3D-games or other intense graphics stuff with the device, and the CPU/GPU of the Note is far away from limiting anything for me.

This is from the perspective of someone who owns a note and is not looking to buy SGS3.
Wait until you can have a "hands on" play with the SGS3. For me, I can't see the benefits of the processor so I won't buy one.
However - I am frustrated with the note's ability to play back movies. I am not really a person who uses the note much for watching media... but the black clipping issue frustrates me nonetheless.
If I was an avid movie/tv watcher, the issues with the note would be unacceptable.
In summary:
a) wait to play with SGS3 and get comments on video playback quality.
b) if you are a movie/audiophile, buy SGS3 if video playback is good.
c) if not, buy the note.

The note is a like a drug. I think its by far a great phone, and spec wise, I play lots of games on it, its probably not "as" smooth for gaming as what the sgs3 will be so if that's a big deal you might lean that way, but everything else...note rules.

Get the Note if you are comfortable with the size of this device.

I don't see any reason to get confused at all. First of all how could you compare a product which is selling currently(whose performance is well known) with a product yet to be released(whose performance is not known)?. Both of them maybe from same company but targeted at different category of people. If your aim is to update yourself with the latest gadget in the market no matter what then you may go for S3....If you need a phone which can satisfy your needs then that's a different question....Note is for people who need a smartphone with extended options of a tablet but don't want to carry a typical tablet in their brief case.....But once you get used to it all other phones look like cute little toys to you.....I can surely bet that Galaxy Note can handle all high end graphics games, high quality video streaming etc etc and you will just love its performance...Obviously a bigger screen means better visibility, more details on the screen etc etc...So now you decide and act....Best of luck...

i waited for months before buying my note as i was waiting 4 s3 launch
man i bought my note just after seeing s3 live release on facebook
see we dont need quad core processors right now dual core s enough, i might have opted for s3 if it had a 12mp cam but its cam is still same as note's
and plz keep this in mind if it uses camera to see your eyes movement then its gonna take lot of battery which is 2100 mah compare to note's 2500 mah (sorry if m wrong)
plus the biggest problem is its ugly design... man note is sexy
the only plus option is quad core and nothing else..rest everything is software based like there was siri on 4s (not worth updating)
if u wanna wait for note 2 its ur choice but u never knw they might give note 2 same design as they gave to s3

I've been wondering what, if announced, would make the Note 3 (or any other phone) a day 1 buy for me.
There's always the incremental MORE/LESS stuff - more screen, less weight, blah blah blah
The note 2 is good enough that I don't consider any of that to be a strong selling point.
Has technology/innovation peaked? What features could/would make the Note 3 a 'must buy'
for Note 2 owners (versus the expected 'guess I'll wait for the Note 4)? Or from a business
perspective, would could make people who were uninterested in the Note 3 interested in the Note 2?
I don't think the S4 won over any S3 haters.
The only recent interesting things I've seen are:
wireless charging
unbreakable screen
Metallic body (which I personally don't care about, but it sure is making the HTC One hot stuff)
All of the above I'd love, but nothing I'd sell my Note 2 to get.

The hardware technology is close to peaking, I think. Flexible screens are just a marketing gimmick for me, and better radios aren't really new tech but refinements of what we already have. Screens are either unbreakable but not unscratchable, or unscratchable but not unbreakable. As for power -- every week we read about how this or that development will give us vastly more powerful batteries (rechargeable in 30 seconds, no less) but the problem is, they've been saying that for the past six or seven years and we're still stuck with the same old Li-Ion technology. Wireless charging still means leaving the phone on some device or other to charge -- only you don't plug it in. Now if my phone's battery would start charging as soon as I walked in the door, I might sit up and take notice.
The only innovations that would give me an incentive to buy a new device (the Note 99, maybe?) on day 1 would be either 128GB or more of storage without a huge increase in price, or a change in Android specs to allow apps to be stored and run from external cards. Not allowing apps to run from external storage has got to be one of Google's more short-sighted ideas, given that each Android iteration, not to mention manufacturer and carrier overlays, seems to eat more and more of available storage space for its own use.

in my country, note 2 now is about 30% cheaper compared to when it was launched. if thats the case in your area and since you are still satisfied with your note2, id wait for a few months until it gets cheaper before buying. as a bonus the official rom you buy might be more stable the the 1st release.

For me, personally, it would have to be a huge increase in onboard storage (I'm thinking 128GB minimum). Also, I would prefer a dedicated micro-HDMI port, instead of crappy MHL. These two things would make me get the GN3 on release day, but if not, I'll stick with my GN2 for the time being.

1080p, Exynos Octa w/LTE, more storage...yeah, I'm probably going to get it at launch. Those are enough to excite me.

Frontal stereo speakers, Adreno 330, Snapdragon 800, metal body, 1080p 64 GB storage... these things are desirable, but still probably wouldn't buy it... and definately not on day one. Just recently got my Note 2
More likely when I switch, it will be to the Note 4... or perhaps some nice HTC/Sony. Maybe even a Nokia EOS, if such a thing ever breaks free from the rumorland....

I want a note 3 with all s4 features minus lag, screen tint and smearing issues (realistic wish list). It would be enough for a year at least. I would prefer a screen of 5.7 inch max, but it should never go beyond 6.0. The battery should be around 4000MAh. I don't care about body but design at least should not be carbon copy of note 2/s4. The minimum storage should be 32gig.

Larger screen without increasing the body size.
Larger battery, and I don't mind making the body slightly thicker either. For me battery life is more important than have it be under 11mm. I think 12mm is fine.
HD display, without a doubt.
SPen upgrade. I love the current generation, but if they can't make it any better then that'll be fine by me.
Next generation processor which I'm sure will be in there.
An awesome camera This one is good, but not that good. I'd much prefer something better.
I think that's it! If they add on a capacitive home button and an extra gig of ram I'm sold.

Thinner, lighter, better battery, full hd and 13mpix camera at least (or better if they can squeeze it). Battery life is fine with me. Processing power I don't care about anymore (it's plenty enough already).

I am afraid its going to be like this, better not to keep your hopes high, you should follow the prior trend if u want to stay realistic. I dont mind an s4 type phone but it must be morw fluid and minus all the bugs.

Definitely a phone I will buy, sadly I dont have the money right now and selling somo old phones is not on my plans, so if the note 3 went out today I will have to buy it in October 2014.

Samsung will never set 32gb as minimum storage. They rather will cut it even more (like in galaxy s4).

Have to say I am impressed with my Note2 so far the best Android phone Ive had. Its the only phone I have not had to tamper with to make it faster. I did root it but no custom rom. Never had it die on me, been using it close to a year now and it still amazes me. Awesome device. The Note 3 would have to be significantly better to justify an upgrade. I agree with with what someone hasmentioned already, i believe we have reached a peak now....and only encremental changes will come. Else if they do decide to go all out with the Note 3...we will all be guinea pigs....like with the first samsung galaxy s.with the note 2 we have the perfect balance between battery life and performance. I still carry a spare battery around...just incase.

I want the 7.7 since release date, but never find one here in europe.After many tabs like a nexus 7, Gtab 8.9, Asus Fonepad, SonyZ, Acer and many more, i found a shop 1 month ago that get a contingent of new 7.7. In times of quadcore i buyed it for 250.- brand new and like it very much.
The best tablet i ever had.
For a 2 year old tablet its very good. better specs like the tab3 and other brand new devices. Asus present the Fonepad but the 7.7 could do this years before.
Iam so interested why no producer makes a tablet with specs like the 7.7. Thin, sdcard, umts, phonecall with 3g, 1280er display bigger then 7 inch and a very good accutime. Only the p6800 had all this like 2 years ago.

most premium looking tablet. i hope the next one is borderless since we dont usually hold this by the bezel, leave that for ipads and 10 inchers.

This is the best designed tablet. However, it's limitations rests on Android. For tablets, we need a full fledged operating system like Windows 8. Not only is Windows 8 a complete OS, it runs 100x smoother than Android.
We can have a 8 cores 9000 Ghz CPU with 5,000 GB rams. It will still lag on Android. Sorry, but my next tablet will be windows 8. For mobile phones, Android is ok.
Just waiting for a 7-8 tablets to be released with windows 8. It's too bad that I will no longer have the call and text feature of the Galaxy Tab 7.7.

Enjoy your "complete" OS. Cm9 ROCKS this tablet with tremendous battery life. Btw you might want to invest 1.2k or more if you want windows 8 full with no lag, and not just the RT version since it's not a "complete" os. Oh and don't forget a shoulder bag to haul the thing in. I've messed with a few of them but the battery wasn't that impressive and they were way heavy (the guy was hauling it in a backpack). A laptop would have been a better choice than a full x86 slate IMHO, but by that time the argument is "laptop vs desktop". Rabbit trails.

LOL, I don't care about custom rom, root or customized bs. I just want a tablet the runs smooth. Only reason why still I have the 7.7 is because it's the only tablets that lets me send texts and make calls.

No phone capability so I guess it is more of a replacement for the P6810.
Large screen phones are a rarity. This company's Aries range looks promising though I doubt they will match the build quality of the 7.7

Friend of mine decided to flash off his new 8" Note 3 last week, insisted on showing everyone how good the screen quality was.
He decided to show an episode of Horizon (BBC Science TV show for overseas readers) about black holes in 720p, funnily enough I had that episode on my 6800 so we played them side by side.....everyone in the office said ".....Oooo the picture on that older one is so much better...much sharper and more vivid....." he wasn't a happy bunny!
Don't know if anyone noticed but a 6800 sold on ripbay UK last night for £180, in good nick with the box and accessories.
I've got 3 6800's and a 6810 now sitting in various docking stations doing assorted things, just wish there was an official 4.2.2 release.

My 7.7 is my baby. It's my main device for everything, entertainment, odd games and portfolio device. The device I read the daily news and catch up on tech news, reviews and read xda every night in bed. My wife knows not to disturb me when I and with my baby lol.
I have a note 10.1 also which I doodle with. I have the same apps on both but I just don't find the note tab satisfying to use like the 7.7. It's not just the looks, it's the whole ergonomics also. 7.7 is the perfect size for me. Big enough to read websites on and small enough to carry around. I love how thin it is and how premium it feels.
I'm amazed that even though the device got the all clear by the courts (Apple being jealous and trying to hinder the sales) Samsung should have expanded on this design. The 10.1 is ugly at best. The 7.7 looks beautiful.. like a Porsche.
It's a shame, I am tempted by the New 2014 note 10.1, that does look nice but it still is a little off. Also I'd prefer a smaller size. And then there's no amoled. This is a big booboo.
Sadly the 7.7 is feeling the strain. It is getting old and a bit slow. I always need more ram and on the p6810 I can't use multi window. I really love this feature on my note 10.1 and would love it for the 7.7. Thing is can I justify spending a couple of hundred quid for a p6800 - an old device that I know is slow for some tasks already just to get multiwindow?

Man, I love the 7.7 but since swapping (and cutting) my SIM into the new Nexus 7 FHD LTE, I haven't looked back. I rarely used the dialer on the 7.7 since I also carry a phone, and I can always make voice calls using GrooveIP if I need to.
The thinner bezel on the Nexus 7 means I can put it in most of my pockets now. The 7.7 is really chunky compared to it, and for not much more screen space. True, it isn't SAMOLED so colors aren't as punchy, but much sharper resolution. Plus, no lag! The 7.7 was always laggy, sadly

Totally agree. Just the right size, great screen, great feel... To see a 7.7 v2 for /2013/2014 would be fantastic. Screw Apple for litigating this tablet out of popularity and therefore dev support :/

Was looking at buying a new tablet a few weeks ago.
What I wanted:
1. HD AMOLED screen
2. Can make calls
3. 7-9"
4. Can install AOSP-style ROM
Nothing that you could buy new fit all these criteria except for the 7.7 which was released 2 years ago!
So I bought a 2nd hand 7.7 for $250 and haven't looked back
Only thing that I think could be improved is a faster processor and more stable custom roms and it would be perfect!

Finally sold my 7.7 tablet + my android phone to give way for a Note 3. I have to let go of bringing and maintaining two android devices (Phone + tablet) at the same time. I really love this tablet but sad to say, some good things really never last.

That is also my ultimate aim (single multi-purpose device). sm-n900 in 3 weeks ! The newer devices don't really need that much tweaking, but won't stop me trying anyway.
Still have some fun & unfinished work with this tab though, before passing it on..... keep it in the family
