So I was browsing around xda the other day and noticed that the Acer Iconia A500 already had Touchwiz UX ported and working since June 18th and we are just started to see pics and videos pop up on the Galaxy Tab 10.1. Thats just crazy.

Iconia rockzzz!
I don't want to be rude, but are y'all just trollin' or incapable of looking around? There are like, four threads on this!
Attention All Developers,
According to a statement on ASUS's website, they will be pushing ICS to the ASUS Transformer Prime. Hopefully we can get a system image and start a proper port of ICS for the Transformer. I currently have made ports for the EVO 3D but need to learn the differences for the Transformer
Eh, shouldn't that be in the PRIME forum?

This is great news! This was probably completed before Christmas so I would expect a Transformer edition within the month!

If I read correctly the OP is saying we need to port ICS from the PRIME update to the original Transformer...the post is in the right forum.

Tonight I upgraded my mother in law's TF101 to ICS OTA that ASUS just released. I'm extremely impressed at the improvements.
Is there anyone out there that want to take on the challege of porting it over to the A500. I know that there are a number of driver issues with the A500 and ICS but Thor's ICS right might be a good place to look to resolve the lack of drivers. I believe only the camera drivers are still MIA.
I have always loved the TF101 builds that were ported to the A500. The only reason I picked the A500 over the TF101 is the built in USB port.
My Transformer TF101 has been my primary working and entertaining slate for more than two years. Thank for the support from developers here, it still rocks these days. However, I am keen on getting a retina-display like screen for a while. Recently, Asus released its new generation of Transformer TF701t equiped with the latest Sharp IGZO display. The screen is gorgeous and Tegra 4 is fast like blaze. I immediate decided to upgrade my tablet. Now, I am quite happy with my new tablet except their are no custom ROM yet. TF701t is rootable and Asus has release JB 4.3 for it.
So, it is just a matter of time that new custom ROM will come out. I wish my comments will attract more TF101users to buy this tablet and more developers to work in it then.
Merry Christmas and happy New Year!

I'm done with the TF line. I had a TF201, and it was a POS. I still have my TF101, which ASUS completely abandoned while it was still in production. I only still have it because timduru kept it usable with his KatKiss ROMS.

I keep telling myself that my TF101 is just as good as the new ones, since it runs Android 4.4.2
Heh! Me too.
