Hello,
I recently got my hands on an HD2, which seems to be radio bricked.
If I turn it on, I get a lovely white screen. The rgb bootloader still shows up, showing:
PB8110 HX-BC
SPL-2.08.HSPL 8G XE
0x05
CotullaHSPL 0x30
The device is still recognized through USB, but the previous owner tried reflashing a radio which always stops after a short while.
I was wondering if there's any readable jtag pinout available somewhere, and what I might do to reflash the radio so it actually becomes usable again?
Kind regards
Update: doing a stupid RUU from the rgb bootloader turned it back in action. I'll return it to it's owner, he can decide what he wants to do with it

I have purchased HTC HD2 stuck in boot screen. Only white screen with HTC logo (no red letters with spl etc.)
Now i want to try flash it with stock rom from SD card but i do not now what rom to flash.
Is there a way to identify what is stock rom for my device.
I can enter in bootrom.
PB81100 HX-BC
SPL-1.66.0000 XE
MicroP(LED) 0x05
MicroP(TOUCH) 0x40
Serial on device starts with HT03CNW....
Please help.
well it doesn't really matter what's on there already if its not booting, just flash any stock rom too check it actually works them change if you need to.
if its a tmous then make sure you flash a compatible stock rom.
if its a branded device then you may find some roms wont flash and you ned to "goldcard" it.
Flash OK, HD2 still stuck in boot screen
Hello,
I have flashed HD2 with RUU_Leo_S_HTC_NLD_3.14.404.2_Radio_15.42.50.11U_2.15.50.14_LEO_S_Ship.
After starting flash radio was flashed, then flash restarted hd2 and then started from begining and everithing flashed OK. i restarted hd2 but status remained the same.
It booted in white screen with HTC logo but there were no red leters in lower part of screen.
Also hd2 after HTC logo vibrated six times. I left phone in that state for 20 minutes, but nothing hapened.
What to do??
In bootloader now:
PB81100 HX-BC
SPL-3.03.0000 XE
MicroP(LED) 0x05
MicroP(Touch) 0x40
Any suggestions??
not sure, sorry.
im not that clued up on flashing issues, someone will have an answer for you though...
It sounds as though it may be a operator locked phone and it won't upgrade to a HTC stock ROM.
Where and how did you download the 3.14 ROM?
Any info you can tell us about the phone, ie USA or International, locked to an operator or SIM free?
I downloaded 3.14 from htc.nl site. I wrote serial and it permited me to download fw.
I purchased phone on eBay from guy in Netherlands. He stated that phone is not locked. The rest i do not know.
Yesterday i downgraded spl to 1.42 with sspl and then instaled HSPL 2.
I upgraded to WWE 1.48 but status remain the same.
Also i tryed with mtty and task 28 and task 29 but that also did not change status.
Thanks,
D
Guys,
I think I broke my phone. Rather, just broke.
I tried to fix the memory. I went to the extreme measure - use of tools mtty.
While using the tools I have turned off the light.
Now the phone in bootloader shows
aaaaaaa HX-BC
SPL-1.66.0000 XE
MicroP (LED) 0x05
MicroP (Touch) 0x50
When I insert a USB flash drive with the firmware, it will first moment it loads and then it starts to crawl. A red 0058002
In the OS it is not included. Shows the RGD, but the download does not go.
After the computer is not sewn, falling on 1%
I got my new phone but can't seem to properly HSPL2 it installs fine but then restarts on red green blue screen with the standard startup.
PB81100 SS-BC
SPL-1.66.0000 XE
MicroP(LED) 0x05
MicroP(TOUCH) 0x50
I tried flashing via usb but no love any ideas?
I can hear the napalm getting loaded and burners turning on but I can't find any device and I am flying to Vegas tomorrow so need to get this installed ASAP
Thanks
no need for hspl 1-2 or 3 , just use sspl and flash your rom
Just sits at 0% on the update!
I've gone from the best phone in the world to the worst
Can you boot the phone on into BootLoader mode, then plug it into the computer.
Run HSPL2, select the version of HSPL you want.

kinda sounds like it got task29'd or something. Did you flash anything? Obviously you or someone else flashed HSPL at some point.
if it is tmobile USA version downlod from tmobile support. If it is any other version download from HTC support.
just get to that tri color screen again and run the RUU

PB81100 is regular/European HD2.
T-Mobile US version is PB81120.
Telstra/Asia Pacific version is PB81110.
HX stands for Hynix memory chipset.
SS stand for Samsung memory chipset.
@ boestaman: For flashing a new ROM, have a look on this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=609477. It's a tutorial by mskip.
Hi, I just got a new HD2 (after I thrashed my first one). I've been fixing some other peeps phones too, so I know all about the flashing procedure.
I've installed HSPL and a new radio onto the phone, but when I enter the bootloader screen all it shows is:
PB81100 HX-BC
SPL-2.08.HSPL 8G XE
0x05
Not cotulla or anything. Any ideas about what's wrong?
