Hi everyone,
Some of you may know me for bringing Onskreen's Cornerstone to the HP Touchpad. I've received a couple of requests to bring it to the Asus Transformer. I've got a test build and I need about 2-3 brave souls with TF201's to test it out. Keep in mind that I do not have a Transformer; however, after doing it for the Touchpad, the Transformer should be pretty straightforward.
Please PM me if interested.
Thanks!

Probably should post in TF201 forum you will get more responses.
I'd love to test, but only got TF101 to offer
I saw your reference to onskreen posted on the ARHD thread and looked it up...
Loved the concept since I'd always seen those Android devices as also being a thin client for the desktop and living room big screen.
Only problem: I ain't got no TF201 and the toy budget is kinda drained after I want crazy with a Notion Ink Adam, a TF101, a Galaxy S and a Galaxy Note last year...
Both NI Adam and TF101 are on ICS.
I would love to see this working on the slider

As mentioned, are you looking for people with a Prime (tf201) or an original Transformer (tf101)? I PM'd you about it as I have a tf201 and am interested.

Some one just posted a video of Team Eos Cornerstone ROM on a Slider
Sorry about that, Mods, can you please move to the correct section? I'll have one for the TF101 hopefully soon. Thanks!
if I can put it on my TF101, I would be ecstatic! I had been trying to figure out how to install it on here after I downloaded when I figured that I probably just can't put it on here yet. i just figured before downloading that it was and apk that worked on all tablets, or most, but i guess not :\ but I would LOVE cornerstone

Changed my mind. I highly recommend against this rom for most people. Can't stand newbies whining about this early build. If you want multiple windows, just get an ipad. Then, you're apple's problem, not ours anymore.
That said, now that I've experienced multiple windows, I can't go back anymore. I'm sticking with this rom despite all the bugs.

My observations: The videos are conflicting. The first shows the status bar with purple indicators, then with blue indicators. The second video then shows it with the Gingerbread status bar. It also shows that when in tablet, its Honeycomb. However, the web browser they show is Internet Explorer!
Thoughts?

I like the idea. Guess we'll see how well it's executed. This is the type of thing I'm waiting for before I jump into the tablet market. I'd rather not have both a separate tablet and phone. Give me one device that can double as both depending on the situation (tablet at home, phone on the go).

Another topic that should be moved to the a general discussion forum.
What would be even better would be to combine this PadPhone with their Asus Transformer (the tablet that turns into a laptop with the addition of the keyboard). Then you would have a triple combo: phone, tablet, and laptop all in one device.

I'm excited about this. I own an Asus Transformer and an Asus laptop. Both are high quality and so far, the support for the TF is good. They began releasing 3.1 today. After my update experiences on the Epic, I am very impressed.
Timely updates (granted no cell technology or carrier to deal with) and quality products could put Asus in position to be a major player in the Android market.

I think if it can be done properly the phone/tablet dock is a great way to go. I don't need a big screen to lug on the go but would love to plop my phone in a dock at home for some extra screen real estate.
Does anyone have a answer? I have a Asus Transformer and Acer Iconia, and the Transformer just recieved an update to 3.2.1. Nothing much added only a new program named Super Note. Which is pretty cool if you have a stylus. Anyways why does it take Acer so long. FYI I'm in the US still running 3.1.

You could have a Samsung and still be stuck on 3.1
It doesn't matter if it's samsung, acer, asus or motorola. Even if it's a tab or a phone, people will complain about the next update, and when they get it they'll complain about the lack of fixes or content, features etc.
It will forever be like this. I don't even worry about it, there are more important things in life.

Thanks man... And right back atcha Bro. I ain't exactly drunk, but I have had a pain pill. Great excuse to say the same thing to everyone. I can't wait to get here and see what you guys are up to everyday.
So great, drunk, gf has gone to bed, so I grabbed my A500 to see what was new on here. This thread was made for me. Good stuff. I've been here (well, on xda) for a while now, but my low post count comes from the forum mantra of reading everything first before bothering anyone with questions, which, when done, leaves me little to ask/talk about.
I am an X10 owner, which is how I found this forum, so this was the first place I came after picking up my A500. I've been reading all your posts with great interest, I realize the Iconia isn't the most popular, but it's been a world of enjoyment for me as my first tablet, and the folks who post in these forums seem quite passionate about it.
Kudos before the lock!

Thats a shame. I would have loved to give it a whirl. Any news on if there is going to be any Dev on XDA for the TF101?
If so maybe set up a new thread with all the info needed to compile the APK.

The guide to compile the APK can be located here: https://github.com/xbmc/android/blob/android-rebase-8/docs/README.android

The app looks amazing, but the volume on videos seems very low. Anyone else having an issue?
Edit: Ignore that, seems the volume control for xbmc doesn't override the system volume, that and I'm an idiot.

Having the sound issueś aswell and can´t find the option in XBMC to edit sound levels.
Also is anyone having issue´s with force close. I don´t know if it is a JellyBean issue of if it is because of the early stages the app is still in.
But great work on getting it working :good:
I only just heard of xbmc a few weeks ago and now i have the pleasure of trying this. I can confirm that this works too, but im having a bit of trouble with some unpleasant stuttering for some avi files. anyone get this running flawlessly for them, or have newer update(s)?
Sent from my Transformer TF101 using xda app-developers app
Video works fine, I have no sound on tv streams (icefilms, 1channel etc), force closes at random times and an occasional flickering of the screen other then that XBMC itself is looking great I always thought the XBMC interface would work well with a touchscreen device and it does!
Cheers for sharing the link

After talking to Motorola via there motodev forum the guy in charge of the guy in charge of the motodev forums has shipped a Atrix to me for the linuxonandroid project for free!
Once I get the device you should see lots of extra work on the project for the atrix!
In the mean time I just wanted to introduce myself!
I'm zacthespack the lead dev of linuxonandroid and quite impressed with Motorola's willingness to support development projects
UPDATE
so Motorola when and sent me a Atrix 2.. Still very nice of them but not what we needed so I am in the process of selling the Atrix 2 on ebay to then by a Atrix so I can finally start deving on it

My goal with the Atrix is the start by fixing Unity and the other issues that people have been having with the linuxonandroid project.
Then when I can get my hands on a webdock, prehaps a kind user no longer users theres..? Or it will have to wait until I have the funds to get one, I will look at building a custom version of the LinuxonAndroid distros to work nicely with the webdock.
Thats the plan anyway

Indeed theres one on ebay for £70, however I move in a week so more available money for anything other than living is £0 xD had to move to a new flat as the landlord wants the one im in back..and the cheapest I found amounts to £2000 includes fees, deposit and first months rent.. thats alot for a Uni student living on his student loan and donations to his projects lol.
But yes at the latest start of October I will get my loan back through and will get one then we shall see
