i have i put the xrecovery and add the rom and i forgot to clean the data after flashing and stack on the boot screen !!!!!!! Help fast please

Do you know how to get into xrecovery?just hit back button a couple of times when on sony ericsson screen.

Look,we are talking about x8 here because he is flashing his friends phone.and I was here on x8 forum long before you knew about this phone.

solutions for that:
1) flash the stock ROM using the flashtool
2) Root it again, install busybox, and install this
this will help you to install xrecovery again
3) boot into xrecovery, factory reset / wipe data
4) flash the rom you want~
take out the battery and insert it back after 30 seconds..turn on your phone and press back button when "sony ericsson' pop out..

Ok so I got my x8 today I managed to root, its on the latest se Rom. But how do I get app2sd to work and partition the sd for it. Im used to the wildfire and it was so straight forward compared but I do like the x8. Also could some one link me to the latest xrecovery files for manual install. Thanks in advance.

When people ask questions like this in wildfire forum they don't get smart ass answers pull ur finger out mate just wanted a bit of help. Must be too much to ask? Look sorry guys or gals im having a really bad day. Just bricked my desire hd as I wasn't paying attention to what I was doing. Didn't mean to be a tw*t. Sorry if I started on the wrong foot im a newb when it comes to Sony Ericsson never owned one in my life always had HTC. Just really need help with app2sd cannot get it yo work at all :s tried flashing the zip with xrecovery. I already have ext3 partition and it just won't work im stuck I did actually follow a tut on the xda forum. Thanks and sorry

No there isn't newer version
To be exact, there is a newer version of xrecovery, but it is not X8 compatible. So 0.1 mini is the newest version for X8.

When i want to flash my x8 to havr 015 baseband when i open the x10 flash tool then the java error appears ... i install the latest java but the error appear again ... can someone help me? I need that baseband for custom roms!

How to open the SE Xperia Service menu?
1. Lock your phone
2. Press the menu button
3. Then press home, back, back, home, back, home, home, back.
Done

There´s a video on youtube where a guy does it, but he does it with X8 1.6, so I think you have to downgrade to 1.6 if you wanna do it.
It works with 2.1 stock S.E. ROM.

I Need HELP!!!
I think I am in a bootloop or may be i am possibly using the wrong term.
I tried installing on of the custom roms found here on XDA for Xperia X8 but i guess i did something wrong in btw now phone come on by itself, shows the "Sony Ericsson" text and waits for about 8sec and then blank off and restarts again. on and on like that its a loop i guess. can anyone please help me out.. All i needed was a 2.2.1 OS on my phone but now i have ended up having none. Please help

I use both x10i and x8 I have successfully gotten my x10i off se hook but my x8 now, its rooted and yet can't run any tethering app on it. It says kernel not supported.
I downloaded the new build that was posted on x8 page asking to just restore using xRecovery but it says md5 error. This. Where I need help cus my x8 carried the internet connection and I wanna share it onto my other devices. Need help again.

You can fix md5-mismatch-errors with a special code in ADB, just search for "md5 mismatch" on Google, on the first site there´ll appear a site from xda.
click it and do what´s mentioned there.
And what new build did you download?
The one with an "A" inside or that one with the "C" inside (it looks like:
2.1.1.A..... or something similar) because most ROMs require the A-build, which you can download and flash with flashtool.
But I don´t get what you mean with "it carried the internet connection".
Please explain it more exactly.

2. Install (minicm7 2.3.4 rom but not from pananovn's thread,that does not have wifi and compass working)
3. Boot to cwm recovery and install minicm6
I use it and encrypted my data partition and installed some themes,just look in x10 mini forums.

you mean minicm6?if yes use CWM to install the 1.0.2 .or maybe wanna get minicm7 2.3.4 allready fixed (except the camera set to vga) for your x8 mate? try this moded minicm7 latest from nobodyatall http://www.mediafire.com/?bsdvy2i6jqnrmze...this is my personal rom...and i don't want post it on xda cuz there allready another minicm7 posting ..if you like it just press the thanks button
