[Q] No Internal Memory? - Continuum General

I've got an odd little problem with this phone. I can get it to boot up with no sweat but for some reason it doesn't recognize any internal memory (when I go to the SD section, it says 0.00B of internal memory) which means I can't download apps, among other things. I'd really like to be able to do this.
I've tried a whole host of different things but I've never been able to solve this particular problem.
I'd be interested in hearing any possible solutions.
Thanks.

i actually encountered this problem a few months ago and all i did was reflash ec07 and it seems to have fixed it

u need to just reflash the .pit file and whatever rom you were using and you should begood i had a thread about this awhile back when it happened to me.
heres my original thread about it.

That won't work with Miunia, since it doesn't have bootloaders, params, or cache (all 3 of which will be wiped if he repartitions). Bierce's suggestion is the correct one, but you are going to have to do the full stock ec07 package with the ec07 pit, repartition checked. Somehow (not sure how, without knowing what you were doing), your int-sd partition got corrupted. Either that, or you have a hardware failure on the internal flash drive. Since you can still read the drive, just not write to it, I'd imagine it is a corrupted partition.

So I tried this, according to your helpful instructions in the Dev sticky under Heimdall tutorial... I think this qualifies as following the instructions you said to do in your post.
My problem persists. If it helps, after my device is reset by Heimdall, it goes directly into the bootloader to wipe all data, but it gives a red error message: data wipe failed.
Then it reboots again, goes into stock recovery (3e) and starts with the following two errors:
E: Can't mount /dev/block/mmcblk0p1 (Invalid argument)
E: Can't mount /dev/block/mmcblk0p2 (Invalid argument)
And I thought what you suggested would have done it for sure.

I have tried DXJPE on my device and it only works with 513.pit not 512.pit(I hope you got the right pit file), try flashing it again using the 513.pit and see how it goes in the second flash, you know that the first boot takes some time, so give it time to boot.

The DXJPE is not a full package, and hence it will have this error when you flash it with odin with re-partition ticked.
Look for hardcore's DXJPA full package where it will wipe your data, and reformat all the rest of the partitions.
After that, flash the DXJPE without ticking the re-partition. You will have your phone running in no time.

You might be correct and ngagegames is flashing a one package firmware.

I have the re-partition ready firmware here: http://www.multiupload.com/8T68X93AHU double click to extract and flash PDA.tar.md5 as PDA, PHONE.tar.md5 as PHONE and CSC.tar.md5 as CSC, all with 513.pit and re-partition checked, or download the package g00ndu suggested.

download a custom rom with a lag fix kernel, flash that, and then disable lagfix before flashing a stock rom..
that way you wont get that cant mount stuff..
good luck.
I had this problem last night... all i did was flash I9000UGJL2 from samfirmware with no repartition and no pit and it worked.... i dont know why.. I was reading use the 3 file odin flash but that never worked.
Probably just lucky I guess..

[Q] Error Mounting Cache

Hey guys.
Got a GT-I9505 and was trying to look at some custom ROMs to install, even thinking of giving the beta AOKP a go, but I ran into an issue.
I was first able to gain root access without much issue from the pre-installed firmware, worked through Odin like a treat, but after I went to install the CyanogenMod Nightly through CWM Recovery, the ROM wouldn't install. I noticed the Factory Reset through CWM and that there was an Error mounting the cache partition. I checked the mounts and only the system partition was mounted, I couldn't mount anything else.
So,after essentially bricking the phone, I used Odin and flashed the Stock Firmware back on and followed on as instructed. but the same thing happened again.
Any suggestions would be great. I have been looking at other devices to see if there had been any problems with mounting cache through CWM and to check if they had solutions, but I was coming up pretty thin with explanations. I was thinking if I format through Odin while flashing the firmware back on, that might help?
Thanks in advance, hopefully.
Tried a few more times.
third time clearing cache, the entire screen started to go more and more green.
fourth time made it reboot
fifth time just cant factory reset at all. its ridiculous.
I honestly cant say im doing something different.
Is there a way to break and actually force the cache to be wiped?
E: Can't mount /cache/recovery/command
E: Can't mount /cache/recovery/log
E: Can't open /cache/recovery/log
E: Can't mount /cache/recovery/last_log
E: Can't open /cache/recovery/last_log
Argh. I don't understand why I cant access/wipe my cache. is this a recovery problem?
Okay, there may be a problem with the CWM recovery. I have been looking through a few of the threads and comments in particular with Philz touch CWM recovery, and It now works. but there stillseems to be a few problems popping up with installing aosp/aokp roms. backup and restore is working fine. cache/data wipe also working. but it's quite a pain for the whole process to get it to work.
ill post the threads in a bit.
here is the AOKP rom i was referring too

and the recovery thread that helped solves some issues

TWRP Error 7, show Storage Internal 0 MB. Please help, wrote full description

im using ASUS Zenfone 5 as my daily driver since it was came out. before everything screwed up, im using XOSP 6.3 it was stable, but recently bugging. first time i unlock bootloader with ASUS official unlocker. My history of custom rom are CM12, Ressurection Remix LP, DirtyUnicorn, Cleanstock, XOSP. long short story. im trying tanks0412's stable Ressurection Remix, follow the precise of the instruction which is wiping System, dalvik, cache, data and internal. wiping internal which leads me to this problem, this problem has been occured 1-2 times when i did it and i succesfully fix it by flashing RR LP or somehow it fixed. but this time, it wont. its been 3 days.
- it shows error 7 when flash rom, tried to remove asserts line in the rom. wont work
- TWRP shows internal storage 0 MB. tried to remount system with terminal. wont work
- tried to update TWRP, flashing via flashboot. wont work
- tried to downgrade TWRP to 2.8.7.0 with Zenfone Asist. wont work
- tried to flash CM13.1 system image with Zenfone Asist. says okay, everything fine in bootloader. reboot to recovery, says no os installed. Cant boot to system.
Device info =
ASUS Zenfone 5
- 8 GB internal storage
- 32 GB external storage
- 2 GB RAM
- ASUS T00J/F (i forgot)
- A500CG
- TWRP 3.0.M2-0
this is my first thread. correct me if im wrong

I tried that also stil facing the same errors.
Try this steps carefully :
1. Wipe cache, dalvic cache, system, data and internal storage.
2. After wiping press format data and then type "yes" .
3. After formating data, now go to install and flash the ROM you want with gapps.
4. After flashing rom and gapps now reboot system.
5. First boot will take some time.
(Note: keep in mind that after wiping cache, dalvik, system, data, internal you have to do format data (which you will see in bottom right corner of wipe section) )
Whenever I install new custom rom, i use only these steps. I never encounter these problems as i always format my data.
Try this things, hope you will use your device.

Okay.
First check weather its mounted or not.
To do this go to twrp recovery mode, select Mount and check [√] every option. After that try to flash the rom again. It seems like your system, data and cache is not mounted. See if that helps or not.

Bootloop after ota update, flashing stock through odin doesn't help.

Hey guys. I haven't rooted my SM-935F. Got some problems with it, while using it for a longer time without a pause, it lagged and then i had to restart it in recovery mode. In the night it wanted to update through ota, but bootlooped for some reason. I flashed already two different stock roms, but after both it displayed this error: "E:failed to mount /data (Invalid argument)
can’t mount ‘/data’ (Invalid argument)
E:failed to mount /data (Invalid argument)
E:Can’t mount /data/log/recovery_log". Still haven't find any solutions on the web. I'm afraid there's a hardware problem on this phone. However, do you have any ideas, what I could yet try?

That message is quite common in recovery, many people report having it, but they claim their mobile keeps working as it should.
I had it also after the Dec FW update, and then my S7 started to love bootlooping till the point I threw it now to Samsung for repair.
So, is this message your only problem or do you still get bootloops?
I got a message, that something might went wrong while updating, so i should repair the software via SmartSwitch, but i didn't help at all. When i turn it on it stops "installing update" at 32%. I guess, the only survey is to bring it back to Samsung for a repair, like you did.
