Does TWRP 2.0 work with 6.2.2? - Kindle Fire General

I'm reading conflicting things on the forums. Also, does the latest kindle fire utility work with 6.2.2? Thanks in advance.

I have TWRP myself, but I did not use Kindle Fire Utility to install it.

Out of curiosity, how did you install it?

try installing twrp with kfu 0.9.1
I had problems with latest version 0.9.3.

I used Kfu v0.9.1 and everything went fine, try it, it's really easy to use.

KFU is super easy to use and very straight-forward. I was rooting and installing a custom Rom in no time.

The new KFU (0.9.3) worked well with rooting 2 of my 6.2.2's and installing TWRP from within. Now I have to see if the KFU can get one of them out of a stuck kf logo

Question about returning Kindle to stock (Completely)

So, I have a Kindle Fire running CM7 with TWRP and firefirefire. I noticed a dead pixel on my screen, and since I'm still within my return period, I'd like to just restore my Kindle to stock so I can return it. I feel like I could flash Amazon's 6.2.1 update in recovery since it appears to have all the necessary files in it, but I'd like confirmation before I try. Thanks in advance.
Search. There are already topics on this.

kf2 10.2.4

Looks like I got hit by OTA despite firewall. Anybody have luck with 10.2.4 or cm10/aokp on kf2?
Can be rooted, but locked bootloader prevents installing custom ROMs or recoveries. We need a good dev.

Clarke33,
You got hit with 10.2.4? The file must have been dropped before we moved the otacerts.zip bummer.
Did you loose root or are you OK? You probably can re-root on your own if you had to, don't you
think? If not, I will be around tomorrow.

Clarke33,
Then you know, we had no issues Rooting Software 10.2.4.
Thank you for the clarification.
To everyone, there are no issues Rooting the Kindle Fire 2 10.2.4
Just follow our guide here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2069117
So far Amazon has not patched the known ICS Exploit.

anyone have how to repair the problem .?? thanks .
Re:
I might be able to answer the following
I thought that the old method was so incompatible that it would fail epically without leaving any problems? Well if it has adb access you might get lucky, I'd ask around in the hdx section, the hdx has its own sub-forum, they might be able to help, try perusing one of the initial root attempts threads from before a definite root method was made, might find someone that did something similar.

You should be asking that question yourself, can you do it? The answer is, out ofy knowledge, yes. I would suggest, the easiest way I know. VulirtualBox, install windows on it and then root it from there. Also, which version of android do you have on your kindle? If it is 13.3.2.2 then there is no written exploit at this time, but if you have 13.3.1 then you are in luck! Go ahead and read the earlier posts on this section of this forum.
Yes, look at the how to root Kindle Fire ND with Mac/Linux thread in the 7" Kindle Fire HD (not HDX) General thread to get started with setting up your Mac for rooting. The download in that thread will not work for the box but the procedure will. It may seem complicated but it's worth working through. Also see http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1917237 for a how to on setting up ABD on a Mac.
As stated above a root exploit currently exists only for the earlier version of Fire OS though it appears that progress is being made on the current version for the 7" HDX.
