please help me how can i calibrate this game on my xperia play ?
any help is really appreciated
Are you talking about Yoshi's Tilt in tumble?(or whatever the title is called).
That game was unplayable without extra addon that you had to get. But I used to have that game downloaded patched already to play where you hold R to move it like if you did have the addon.
Sent from my SGH-T989 using XDA App
It shouldn't be to hard to find in Google. Ill try finding it on my computer of I can. That game was really fun back then.
Sent from my SGH-T989 using XDA App
thank you man
what kind of add-on do you mean ?
can you please help me ? should i download an addon and install the add-on ?
Clearly, neither of you were actual legal owners of the "Yoshi Topsy Turvy"/"Yoshi Universal Gravitation" game. It has a built-in tilt sensor... not an "add on."
Even so, the game was terrible, and this is coming from a huge Nintendo/Yoshi fan. The ideal Yoshi game to play is Yoshi's Island and the ideal GBA tilt sensor game to play is Warioware Twisted (sorry... get a real GBA for this). The SNES version of Yoshi's Island had better music and special effects thanks to the FX2 coprocessor embedded in the cartridge. The GBA version has a lower resolution too but the new bonus levels are EXCELLENT! Regardless, I chose to play through the SNES version on my Xperia PLAY (already completed every stage with 100% including all bonus stages without using save satates) with SNES9x Ex because I'm currently playing through the GBA version on my Nintendo 3DS (free Virtual Console download for 3DS Ambassador Program owners only).

Because the game is so bad, I wouldn't bother but, like he said, there is a patched ROM out there. Find and play that one. It's about like using Mario Paint with a controller instead of a the included mouse (there was a patch for that too).

I thought it was to assign the tilt functions to the left and right directional controls but the patch may have been to use the tilt sensor included in some GBA/DS backup hardware.

You guys must have been aching for a working SNES emulator for your Universal; you've got it now!
Two days ago I received this updated version of PocketSNES from a generous guy who wishes to remain anonymous. It is based on the SNES9x ver. 1.39.
I ran Super Mario World and Yoshi's Island on the emulator. Both ROMs ran smoothly without sound on, and I mapped the controller buttons with the keyboard. So now my Universal is a bit like the Nintendo DS, except it only has one screen and only runs smoothly without sound on.
Have a go anyway - simply unzip the downloaded file, copy both the .exe file and .dll file to a folder on your device and then run it.
Unfortunately this program has been optimised for use on the HTC Universal only, so I'm afraid that owners of other WM5 devices may not be able to use this.
BTW the boring stuff: you should know that you can only download the ROMs provided that you have bought a copy of the game. You will have to search for the download sites yourself I'm afraid!
Tried but it couldn't run.
It raised the error: "The file cannot be opened. Either it is not signed with a trusted certificate, or one of its components cannot be found...."
Will give it a shot. Thanks for sharing!

That could be to do with your ROM. Which version is it? You might have to app-unlock your ROM in that case.
I get the same error, tried running from phone memory, and storage card. I am running Mr Clean Rom
Thanks
same error. Certificate problem. Have latest jasjar ROM from Imate.
PLs solve it, you made me curious and I still have hundreds of SNES files, wating to be played with.
Huib
Got the same error
Have a XDA Exec with latest rom.
Dear all,
Sorry about that: my bad. I forgot to include an essential .dll file.
Download the new zipped file, extract it and copy both file to a folder on your device and it should work.
Yep it's working now.
Tried donkey kong country and mario allstars, both working excellent with sound on. You just need to get used with the controls (buttons).
Thanks man.

May I ask what sound setting are you on? Is the game running at a good frame rate?
At the moment i'm running arkanoid at a frame rate of 30. The other games i tried are between 25-35 fps.
Activated sound options are:
V Sound Emulation
V Sync Sound
V Stereo
V Interpolate Source
V Alt Sound Decoder
V Envelope Height Rea....der
V Fix Frequency
Quality is 16 bit.
Rate is medium.
wow works great. 25fps. I would like my dos-emulator to do that.
The only thing is that the keys aren't working like on a joypad or my computer. Let me explain.
on my qtek 9000 you press the right-arrow key an hold it for walking right. If you meanwhile click another button the system forgets that you've holding the right-arrow key. Threrfore its almost impossible to play jump'n'run games.
Does anyone have a solution for this kind of problem?

I'm having that problem too. Disabling the sound helps a bit but I don't know if there is a solution for this. I'll ask the guy who wrote this program.
The Keyborad driver for qtek9000/Universal doesn't allow multiple key press.
You can use other hard keys though including camera, voice, backligh, Video, Contacts etc
is there a way to replace these drivers? does alternative drivers exist? does anybody knows a solution?
This cant't be the end I've tried "super street fighter 2" it works fluently and flawlessly except the fact that you can't jump forward or backward, not talking about the special moves, just because of the keyboard!
It is possible to write an alternate driver for the keyboard. I'm not voluntering though (not at the moment at least)
Thank mate! This is awesome.

hi!
i need some help on warcarft 2 for my diamond. when i'm within the game, and i click somewhere, the cursor (the hand ) always seems to be about 50 pixels right to the actual position of the screen where i clicked in.
is there a possibility to "calibrate" the cursor? otherwise the game isn't playable 'cause i can't click the action icons (move, fight...).
thanks for your help a lot.
YEs i do have the same problem. It loads quite fast and looks great but its unplayable with this inacuraccy!!!
If you read the post about theese games it will say that you need to set the resolution ingame to 640*480 and check the fullscreen button. try that
thanks. that's it. must have missed that post. i'm sorry.
I tried the game, looked great, but i could not find how to "right" - click...
could one of you enlighten me?
thanks

Search the forums, there's a huge thread with a list of games like WC2, Doom, etc all with links :]
But yeah, WC2 isn't a brilliant port, though it is playable, make sure you disable TF3D if you're into serious gaming with it (35+ units) otherwise you'll get C2D
Hello! I am taking requests for accelerometer games..
I want to know, what EXISTING games would you like to have accelerometer support?
I'm just trying to experiment with Gpad, and see what I can do with it!
I currently have Pacman, NFSUC, jumpyball, GreedyPenguins, PGR, jelly blocks, Krystaloids, spore and PocketNester working well enough to play.
So, I'm asking you all, to please drop by, and post games you would like to have accelerometer support on, or post games you have gotten to work.
Games Supported:
Pacman
NFSUC
Jumpyball
Greedypenguins
pgr
jelly blocks
krystaloids
spore WOOT!
Sonic Unleashed [Almost]
Xtraxt
AOC
More being tested!
spy hunter, you tilt the device like a steering wheel to turn the car
i would love an airplane game
an idea i had basically involves trying to keep balance of something like a tall stack of plates or something
a game where you run back and forth grabbing things before they hit the ground
idk if this is any help but they are just some things i thought would be neat
I'll try to find one where things are falling.
Spyhunter is a java game, so I cant
Games that use simple up down left right, like pacman, are easiest and have a good chance of being supported.
As for a catching game, I cant find one thats free to download, so I cant try it out.
is there a link or something so i can download these games?
I'd love to play XTRAKT and Flux Challenge with accelerometer...
So let me if I can help you in your prj...
Cheers
Thanks Im not at my computer atm, so I cant post the file. Ill upload it in a week.
Its really simple to make games compatible, you basically copy and paste something, and rename it to your file.
Itll look like this:
<Application>
<FileName>Gpad.exe</Filename>
....
...
...
...
...
...
</Application>
OR SOMETHING LIKE that.
Paste one of those below it, and rename it.
Thanks for helping, and please contribute by testing / confirming games.

Download Gpad.cab, and install it on your ppc by clicking on it.
Now, download Config.xml from above and place it in the Gpads saved folder.
It may change locations depending on where you saved it.
MyStorage>Programfiles>Gpad is the most common place.
Paste config.xml there, and it will ask you if you want to override the existing config. Click yes.
Then, open up Gpad by clicking its GPAD.EXE file.
It should have a yellow backround, and two rectangles. There shold also be 2 balls. A red one, which tells where you are tilting, and a green one, or something like that, that shows the center. X it out, DONT CLICK EXIT, just click ok or x in the corner. Then run any of the games from above, and you can now use the gsensor to play
Gpad must be running in the backround to play those games with gpad.
thank you so much!

I do not have those on my phone, so I need to know what the .exe's are for the games. If you go in the game's installation folder, it will be there. For example:
Flux is Flux.exe.
As soon as you do this, I will add them.
I can not guarantee that the games will work with gpad.
I'm going to work with the creator to make more games compatable.
thanks.. will tell u all the exe names.. also, i can send u a link to all those games (for testing purposes ) if tht'll make it easier... i'll pm em to u if u say so
Sure, pm would work great.

It doesn't work with Toshiba TG01. There is a information that I need to switch my resolution to VGA and game does not start...
(HTC Touch Pro [vga])
Its a good start, needs a lot of work. The buttons need to be moved down cause they are hovering over the ground so you can not see your character most of the time. The collision detection is bad (I can jump right through 90% of the turtle's body and the goombas do not work).
Also, to quit I had to restart phone.
Its a lot further than I ever made with my mario clone attempts, so keep working.

On 24th Dec 2009 Schtruck from fpsece.net released his new version of FPSEce. On the website www.fpsece.net you can download FPSE v0.10 for free or get a version for a small donation of €5,- with the ability to save whereever you are whenever you like
It bringt speed-improvement, a new core, new GUI and supports a lot of more games now.
Even a new website is launched.
It's not like v0.96 which quits on my Xperiy 28of30 times I tried to run it... and it makes games more playable, really! (but I only testes with Final Fantasy VII right now - that's what I wanted the emu for .
Hope you enjoy it and if you like it, buy the supporter-version to support the future developement of this software.
I guess it's a really good Idea to give supporters that special-feature but keep the normal version for free! So you can use the software as long as you like.
Wow cool, I'll have to give this a shot!

I'm trying to Run DinoCrisis 2 but so far having no luck. Edit : I used pocket ISO to rip the image.

Hi to all!
I have a problem. When I set MultiFix=1 it is finally possible to bind more buttons on my I740, but it becomes impossible to use on-screen buttons and arrows.
Does anybody know how can I use both of them???
PS: sorry for my English
I start FPSE with keyboard-slided-out in portrait-mode (I use Wisbar to manually rotate screen if I need...). But you don't need this.
If you slide out keyboard, you can press the upper left corner (near the FPS-counter !!! ) to go back to portrait-mode.
Then just configute your keys and when I want to go back to landscape-view I close and open Keyboard again. When I use the screen-rotate-button FPSE leafes and I have to restart my device.
If images don't work using PocketISO try with uncompressed ISO.
I.E. Final Fantasy VIII works on my device without compression and when I use PocketISO it doesn't. But could be a setting in PocketISO - haven't figured out this right now.
If you find bugs please report them to the FPSE-forum!
Compatibility-list availible: HERE.
Just figure out if your game usualy should run.

sorry...PS1 games are that cheap that I only rip my own games for playing (I bought Final Fantasy VII-XII for my PS2, which has no chip inside)...I don't download games which I can buy original for less than €20,- .
But perhaps it's your ripping-tool...a wrong setting?
I have trouble getting FF VIII and IX work - tried to rip them twice, I'm currently waiting in FPSE-board for a solution... I'm sure I get the problems by ripping my CDs.
When FPSEce website is lannched completly there should be a compatibility-list which perhaps has additional information for ripping your games and there'll be a wiki. I'm sure it'll get users closer to solve their problems
holy crap i cant believe this day has finally come. i have been following this project for atleast a year.
Hmm. I downloaded it the other day and right now I'm playing Diablo 1 on it. Works very good, better than I expected it.
First my games did not load and my phone rebooted everytime I tried to play. But now I installed in ON THE DEVICE, running games from my memory card. Works flawlessly.
I have to use frameskipping for Diablo 1 though. I consider supporting the developers because it's great software!
gonna try the non delay ff7 fighting scenes thanks for the info!
I have a few bugs to report. on my symbol mc35 it crashes at startup with around 30MB free ram.
on my touch pro it works fine in portrait mode but if i open the keyboard i cant reconfigure the buttons.
@key-config
slip out keyboard, FPSE changes to landscape-mode. now press near/on the FPS-counter. FPSE turns back to portrait-mode. configure your buttons and than ! don't use the orientation-buttons (this may crash FPSE - at least on xperia!) slip keyboard in and out again to switch to portrait-mode again.
that's an already known bug... you guys should read fpse-board here it is: http://www.fpsece.net/forum2/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=265&p=4807&sid=533071d203f08d489360950cef119a84#p4807 (there's also another problem with omnia...but one guy postet it's solution^^)
This emulator drains battery very fast!!
I was playing FF9 without wall charger.. After 40 minutes i think, the battery ran out! Not able to save without saving point how good if i have save state feature...

I finally got Dino Crisis 2 to work, I found a website that actually has the roms already with the image. I can't belive how smooth this plays to. If you ever get a chance to buy/download Dino Crisis 2 I recommend it, It's Like Resident Evil meets Jurassic Park lol
