Pirates of the Caribbean Master of the Seas - Desire Themes and Apps

I've downloaded this game today and it's pretty okay. i just have this one issue with it. the game restarts itself every now and then.
title screen with pirates of the caribbean shows for a few seconds and then it takes me back to sea map, no matter what i was doing before: battle, quests, menu...
it's pretty annoying, as i can't performe anything without an interruption. despite of it, it's an interesting game.
is anyone else playing it, and has anyone else encountered such issue? any sollutions? googling came up with no answer. didn't even find the same problem. clearing cache and reinstalling the game didn't solve it...
thx in advance...

i think i found it. after uninstalling Watchdog 3G the game seems more stable now, didn't have a restart yet...hope this helps someone with similar issue.cheers!!

MoTweets Crashing??

Hi guys.
I did a search on this issue but it didn't bring up any results.
I'm having issues with motweets crashing on me, anyone else had similar problems and if so can you recommend a fix please?
I'm a UK user on Virgin, I generally keep my phone clean and tidy. Not many apps on it to be honest, plenty of spare memory on both the phone and the memory card. I run cleanRAM and Temp Clear at least once a day and reboot the phone every couple of days just to be on the safe side. I've uninstalled (motweets) and reinstalled it several times on to both the phone and the card but it does the same on either. Basically it started crashing (completely closing with no warning) once a week or so, but now it does it almost immediately after it's updated when I start the programme. I'm pretty sure it's not a 'newer' version than the one I've been using for a few months now, with no issues previously, so I don't think it's a 'software update' problem from Panoramic.
Any suggestions because I can't work it out? Am I missing something really obvious, like a cache folder that needs emptying, or something similar.
I'm by no means an expert but neither would I say I'm a novice too, so any help would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance.
Regards.
Darren.
I have no problems with Motweets,I'm also on Virgin and have loads of Apps loaded on my phone.
Currently running V 1.8.5 which I believe is the latest version brought out
to solve the Oauth log in problems...
Hope that is some help to you Flatcap ?
yip - have had the same problem today.
motweets has worked fine so far. but to say it crashes around 5-15 secs after opening

Sounds almost identical to my problem, very strange.
I was using HTC Peep but moved over to motweets after the OAuth c**k up. And to be honest, as a Twitter App, it's streets ahead of Peep so I stayed with it. I am using the free version though, the adverts are discreet enough, so I don't really see them as a problem.
Flatcap.
I had the same problem, went back to using the built in app for a while, then after a few days tried MoTweets again and it worked fine for a couple of weeks.
Now it's crashing as above once more!

Uf man there you go. I dont think the OS can work without a kernel I am stunned it even boots!
jokes put aside
Well if this happens only after you close them whats the big deal?
I had this even on games I wanted to run, not just by exiting . And yeah I came across of it even whilst exiting .
Anyway lets hear from someone else some advice on this
oh boy does anyone has a solution for this?
are these games installed on the Internal or external sd
I've had this happen on a selection of games, most notably Dungeon Hunter by Gameloft. Doesn't really cause any problems, just irritating. Mine were all installed to internal SD
Hi All,
I'm one of the developers of Hungry MonstR. I can tell you that all the games you mentioned in the first post are games written using the Unity 3D middleware engine.
Unfortunately because we use a terrific product like Unity, we are sometimes locked in to some of the strange things it does.
One of those little "traits" is that when we tell the application to close it is doing something wrong and causing the vibrating and Force Close button.
Another annoying thing for Hungry MonstR is the latest version of Unity has made a bad splash screen bug for all Tegra2 devices. I am currently speaking with Unity and they have fixed the problem, but have not released the update to me yet.
The bug is that during the splash screen the game can/will freeze. To get around this if you put the device to sleep and wake it back up, it will continue on to load the game properly. Still we have many 1 star reviews on the Market because of this bug that we have no control over.
I really hope the next update we can release for Hungry MonstR will fix both the vibrate/force close and the freeze on splash screen bug.
Just as a heads up, we have integrated OpenFeint in to Hungry MonstR as well, but again I am trying to solve a freeze bug in it that only happens once on registration. OF should be in the next update to Hungry MonstR though.
Hope this helps relieve your frustration!
Cheers,
Ben.

Really annoying issue when downloading games data to SD

Hey there people. I have just bought the Xperia Arc (mistake) and tried to doenload data for the Golf game that it came with. Absolutely random it stops and says " Problem occured and the download could not be completed successfully. Would like to start the download again?".
I mean, even if 2 times I got a full download bar, it still said that stupid damned thing at the end and had to cancel. No matter if I am on wifi or 3g, it does the same. I BOUGHT another game from gameloft and tried downloading data, no luck, the same **** again and again. I did a hard reset and erased the card aswel, nothing....
I put an add to sell it, but until then... do you have any idea on this issue?
No problems with anything like that and how much ya selling it for like

Connection problems?!
Man I am sorry... did I say something to make look that dumb? It's not a connection problem, seems to be some issues with gameloft games, but no reply from gameloft yet. I thought maybe some1 who experienced this (because I ve seen many people asking this when googled it) could share the response from gameloft or anything...
when it says download error occured, have u checked if arc got wifi symbol on top?
Also try keeping your screen awake ;-)

Thanks for your time man!
Yeah that's really what bothers me a lot!
I cleared the cache but it helped for a few hours and came back again but now I force-stopped that app and then unstalled the updates then disabled it, Now I don't have any problems "for now" but I think that app really missed up my screen because the screen before disabling it was giving weird colors... anyway I really hope that it'll never encounter me again! My phone was literally unusable!

Phone freezing when playing music?

Hello,
I originally posted this in the Pure Nexus Project thread because I thought it might have had something to do with the rom, however, I don't think that's the case judging from the other replies. I still haven't found the solution, so I figured I should try posting it here:
Anyone having issues with the phone randomly freezing when playing music? Actually, i'm not sure if it applies to all music apps, but for me, it happens when using Spotify. Really random too. Sometimes I go days without freezing, whereas other days, it's just constantly freezing one after another.
I do have V4A installed and maybe it's due to that. Anyone else have this problem and can confirm that it is V4A? or even Spotify?

One user stated that disabling battery optimization for the app in the battery settings fixed it for him. I tried this, but still get the random freezes. Has anyone possibly found out what's causing the issue and if there is a workaround? Thanks in advance :good:
