Uf man there you go. I dont think the OS can work without a kernel I am stunned it even boots!
jokes put aside
Well if this happens only after you close them whats the big deal?
I had this even on games I wanted to run, not just by exiting . And yeah I came across of it even whilst exiting .
Anyway lets hear from someone else some advice on this
oh boy does anyone has a solution for this?
are these games installed on the Internal or external sd
I've had this happen on a selection of games, most notably Dungeon Hunter by Gameloft. Doesn't really cause any problems, just irritating. Mine were all installed to internal SD
Hi All,
I'm one of the developers of Hungry MonstR. I can tell you that all the games you mentioned in the first post are games written using the Unity 3D middleware engine.
Unfortunately because we use a terrific product like Unity, we are sometimes locked in to some of the strange things it does.
One of those little "traits" is that when we tell the application to close it is doing something wrong and causing the vibrating and Force Close button.
Another annoying thing for Hungry MonstR is the latest version of Unity has made a bad splash screen bug for all Tegra2 devices. I am currently speaking with Unity and they have fixed the problem, but have not released the update to me yet.
The bug is that during the splash screen the game can/will freeze. To get around this if you put the device to sleep and wake it back up, it will continue on to load the game properly. Still we have many 1 star reviews on the Market because of this bug that we have no control over.
I really hope the next update we can release for Hungry MonstR will fix both the vibrate/force close and the freeze on splash screen bug.
Just as a heads up, we have integrated OpenFeint in to Hungry MonstR as well, but again I am trying to solve a freeze bug in it that only happens once on registration. OF should be in the next update to Hungry MonstR though.
Hope this helps relieve your frustration!
Cheers,
Ben.

is it just me or is the market running very slow in froyo?
This message was deleted by its author
any ideas why?
Check your logs, it's the usual socket timeout issues, like when you switch for a new Android phone... it should disappear very soon (I had it for an hour earlier)
it was working for me, but now things are downloading and not installing... they just sit there at 100%...
I can't say I notice Market being slow but this is really pissing me off... I bought bTunes and a couple other apps and Market has them marked as Buy as if I don't own them.
WTF.
I'm getting that too, bTunes says Buy, but a lot of other protected apps just don't show up! Is this happening for everyone?

Good call... MLB At Bat is MIA. Hopefully this is a quick fix for the Market crew. I think I should shoot them an email to make them aware.
Protected apps like m bank´s are disent from this version of the Marquet...
That´s my only problem with this awesome 2.2 update.
At a guess most of them are probably to do with the new apps2SD, no doubt when devs start updating them with the new move to SD tags we still start seeing them again
Going to give it a few days before I complain about not having some paid apps (bTunes) though, hopefully thats an easy fix!
really slow
I also see the market is really really slow, I wonder if 2.2 is going somewhere else for data and that source was not ready for everyone to jump on the unconventional means of getting 2.2 up; also, some apps I had are not available and do not come up in searching the market.
Edit: Almost uncanny, but after pressing submit post, both problems disappeared and the market is now the fastest I have ever experienced. Installing and browsing at super speed. No reboot, or anything and my market is normal. Hope it works itself for others so fast
same here some apps arnt there anymore. it happened when the desire came out, protected apps wouldnt show. am sure they had to do an update on the phone to get it working.
i had same problem when start it for the 1st time after flashing yesterday, problem went away after a couple of reboot, now everything is incredibly fast.
Slow!? Lol you must be kidding me.... i have been using Cyanogenmod 5.0.6 for quite awhile and i had to wait, hang on... 5 minutes everytime downloading 1 app.
Here on Froyo, its just instant!
Froyo FTW.
I'ts a common issue it will fix himself (don't ask me how). I had this problem to and one day it fixed itself. This was also with 2.1.
This problems starts when you make a fresh start. There was a silent update for the market and if you have this update market is working fast enough else you have to be patient and wait till you get the update (again).
If you didn't make a fresh start and updated you won't be seeing this slowness of the market.
Hi
I have strange problem. I can't get angry birds to work on my wildfire - game starting and I can hear the sound, but there is only green or blue screen with part of background from the game on top of the screen and that's it... Before game was working fine, but slow (on wildpuzzle rom). Because I had too many problems with wildpuzzle I flashed cyanogen rom and from this moment my problems with angry birds started. Till this time I flashed three different roms and on every one is the same issue. Before every flash I did full wipe.
Do anybody else had similar problem? Why this is happening, is something wrong with the phone, as I know, this game should work on wildfire. Slow, but still...

You do if only green or blue screen push power button wait 2-3 second in sleep mod later to get out in sleep mod and play the game.
Not: My english not good
How many times do i have to tell people lol, it's all over the wildfire forums. When you're in the game, lock and unlock the screen. then it should work and you should see the menu .
I was thinking is something wrong with the phone, as the game was working before. Thanks for answer.

Are you overclocked?
Whatever this is, it's definitely a hardware issue, not SW

whatever it is it's only effecting 5 apps, TB , a task killer. rarely.
3 games quite often.
i dont get it. strange
Thinking about flashing ICS or tiamatxoom on this sucker.
while back i got a permissions changing app, because i got alittle tired of so many apps self starting , the app mentioned that certain permission changes could possibly damage my os. Is this true?
also noticed that the ota nagging has stopped
Flash ICS, definitely. But undoing the permissions changes might be the answer. If it was in permissions denied, I know sometimes that can cause problems. Using autostarts has never caused this issue for me.
Yes!
IML77 cured all, and im loving ICS
I have a very frustrating Issue with my MOJO.
I bought it in February 2015. Recently i somehow broke the Controller. And damaged the HDMI output a little.
At this moment i saw grey-colored 1080p noise on my TV. I resetted the MOJO and then it worked fine. But after this, the Problems started. The Cursor begun to freeze. Sometimes it just freezed for a couple of seconds. Sometimes it just kept freezing the whole day. First it happened rare and only while i wanted to watch a Video. No matter what App i used. Also the bit of sound wich played when freeze just keeps looping while freeze. Like right before the bluescreen in WIN. Now the problems get bigger and bigger. Its freezing every time i use it. No matter what i do. Even if i do nothing it sometimes freezes. Absolutely no matter what app's running, the TV is on and so on.
Im frustrated.:crying:
Also the console overheats very fast. After 5 minutes doing nothing the Heatsink has already 50° C!!
Also no matter what governor. I tried everything but limiting isnt working. It just goes back to its ghostly default all time.:
Userspace
51 to 1887 MHZ
Qfc(?) scheduler
I removed every tuning app. Used CPU state recorders. Everything was normal.
Its just annoying and frustrating because i cant use my own console.
I think its the heat. Because when i cool it with a fan, it lasts longer. But still crashes.
Also at the same time the stock mcz wallpapers were gone and the android stock ones came.
I hope someone can help me.
I contacted the MCZ support of Course. No responding...
Sorry if i made a mistake. Im german.
This is my first post.
Thanks!
That must be the problem--your MOJO doesn't like Germans. Seriously, though, it sounds like you either caught a virus, or have some corrupted system file that's causing the MOJO to use all its resources to try to run it, and thus overheating. Either way, the cure is to reflash it, either with the latest stock firmware or one of the excellent custom ROMs by @Unjustified Dev.
Thanks, ill do so.
I've already found the stock rom here on xda.
But i wish to flash CM11 Because i dont really like the new layout of Lollipop and i only found CM12.1 here. Would be awesome if you can help me. :victory:
Thanks
So, i flashed the stock ROM and:
:crying:
Its still very unstable. Crashes mostly in YT and getting verry hot.
*sigh*
I hope we didnt ran out of ideas. Because i have no idea what could be the problem.. Hard Brick? I hope not
Also: Would CM or a custom ROM help?
Im not really a Lollipop lover. Actually i dont like it like ive told. But i could live with it, if it works fine then.
Fortunately, i can now freely set the CPU. But it doesnt help very much..
Im thinking of removing the hratsink, and mod it and mounting an big cpu heatsink with a fan. Would that be an suitable idea?
Thanks if someone replys.
I've updated to Android 10 recently and, while I enjoy the improvements to the performance, I have been far from impressed with the phone's RAM management. Sometimes, the phone would just randomly fail to launch any apps. I would just tap on any app I want to launch from the home screen or in the app drawer and the phone would just stall. Maybe after quite some time, the phone would initially launch the app but at crawling speed and fail to completely load it. The only way out is to tap the home or the recent apps button multiple times. Also, when opening the recent apps view, I don't actually find the app that failed to launch in the recent apps at all.
Is it only me or is this a known issue? Will formatting my phone do any help?
I am having a similar issue. It occurs randomly, and I have to reboot to fix it.
Same here.
The only way to recover for me is to reboot.
I am hoping the October release will have a fix.
Reference from today's Oct update: A-138323667 - Fix for memory drain in UI on all Pixel phones. I am betting this will fix yours as well

Yes, hope we get those fixes also (though only mentions security ?). I also hope the sensor calibration fix might stop phone waking up when in the car and we hit even a smallish bump, it never used to happen on 9.

Damn! I thought it probably would not be fixed as I believe we only get they security updates fast each month. We'll have to wait & hope we get the fixes soon. I haven't even hand chance to update yet! Lol
Sitrep: updated successfully to the latest update (October security patch). 41 hours of uptime have just passed as I was writing this and so far, I only had a similar issue with Google Chrome (failed to load any pages) but as soon as I opened the App Info and cleared 2 gigs of cache it went back to normal. Didn't get that freezing issue anymore. Looks like it was fixed indeed. Awesome!
I'll still keep an eye on it.
To my shock, it appears that the October security update didn't fix this issue. It may have taken more uptime to occur but it is still there. I think at this point I'm better off switching back to Android Pie custom ROMs.
October version seems better to me. Not as good as Pie but the freeze is not permanent to a point where I have to reset to recover.
Now, when it freezes, it takes about 3-5 seconds to recovers.

Whatever game you're playing...
Turn the volume off...
It's an Audio HAL issue that no one is acknowledging

Not playing games. No audio.
Just in the midst of switching between tasks or starting a new app.
Freeze is less frequent and when it happens, the OS recovers within a few seconds.

Did you clean flash?
I had similar issues when I dirty flashed from P to Q.
Although there are defo some Audio HAL issues on Q as mentioned in a previous post, noticeable when trying to play music through the dongle.
Sitrep: switched to AOSiP 10 (20191012 build), never had a single RAM management issue since. Not sure if it's because of clean flashing the ROM, switching to f2fs or whether it's the ROM that has some fixes. But, well I'm a happy man now
