Just updated to ICS, but the Home + Power for screenshot doesn't work anymore. Volume down + Power doesn't seem to work either. Any ideas?

Hold the button on the S-Pen and press on screen for a second until you hear the camera click sound. This works for me on ICS.
No need 4 spen 2 screencap unless u have it out already just
Do it with touch input
wipe across the screen with your full hand like a karate chop left 2 right
or with ur thumb in a vertical position that works 2

Is there anyway to get the Asus screen shot shortcut (press and hold recent apps) on the Nexus 7?
Sent from my Nexus 7 using xda premium
Press Power and Volume Down simultaneously.

I am aware of power and volume down, but the design of the buttons combined with the folio case make it hard to access them. I am looking for an on screen shortcut like Asus uses on the TF300. Thanks.

Do you mean something like this. I don't know if you can add to the power menus on stock.
Sent from my Nexus 7 using xda app-developers app
Yes, something like that would be great.

What ROM are you using.....I doubt it is possible on stock.

You can do that with AOKP

I found an app called "Screenshot It" that adds a shortcut to the notification area. Thanks everyone for the input.
yeah AOKP has a power menu option to add it when you hold the power button, very easy to use
If your device is rooted, you can use a program called utter! (a voice activated assistant with a lot of voice commands that runs in the background). Shake your device to wake up utter! and say "Take a screenshot". Most commands in utter! do not require a rooted device but a few do.
If your ok aokp, you can change a softkey to a screen shot one. Really cool.

Or swipe up from bottom, to quick memo, and save. I find this easier, cause I have huge fingers... lol

I agree, only thing is it cuts off the navigation bar when u use quickmemo, which isn't a big deal IMO...
U got to hold both buttons together for the screenshot to kick in "power and volume down button." Otherwise quick memo is awesome too
