Can i turn on screen just with touch or i must every time use switch on left side.

yes i still have stock rom i just buy this cell phone yestrday. samsung galaxy s
t-mobile

My galaxy s allows me to use the middle button to wake it also stock rom

What you mean (middle button) under screen is 4 touch buttons.If i touch any one nothink happen.

There should be 3 buttons to the bottom of the screen - the centre physical button used to wake the phone and as the 'home button' as well as the other 2 capacitive buttons either side used for back and menu.
The US variants I all have 4 capacitive buttons which I presume can't be used for waking the phone, I take it you have one of these - the Captivate, Vibrant or Fascinate?

Home/Back buttons on status bar (Tablet optimizations from other sections)

I noticed that g-tab has ROMs with following two brilliant optimizations for tablets.
a. Home, Menu and Back buttons on the Status bar.
b. Notification popups like HoneyComb.

Have you tried button savior in the market?
It creates a little pop-up thing on the edge of the screen for home, menu etc.
It's not exactly the same bug its a start ;-)

+1 we already have the capacitive buttons so i dont see a point for the other stuff.

This is useful for me because I use my tab as a media center and I surf from my couch using a logitech dinovo mini which does not have an option for home or menu. So the app such as button savior is indeed my savior as it saves me from having to get off the couch.

I was browsing google + and thought I would try to get a screen shot of a post I liked for reference and so was trying to hit the Home + Power keys when this error popped out
Anyone else experienced this ?
There might be a possibility that one of the volume keys got pressed as well which resulted in this error
Would appreciate some feedback from Devs who might know about this or is it something we can do with our galaxy

Yo can find info on the Forced Upload mode on the original Galaxy S forum.

I believe "Upload" Mode is the Kernel Panic mode... I have no clue what it actually implies though.

This is the default for AOSP, if you want to have additional options like "Reboot, Reboot - Recovery, ..." then you will need to install Xposed or use a custom rom.

Yeah what JoKe_42 said.
They've removed all but the power off from that menu in the stock build.

If you are rooted, you can use the Quick Reboot app.

I'd recommend you to use Cataclysm Mod instead of Xposed..
I'm not a huge fan of Xposed, and Cataclysm has been awesome...

Or to restart without Xposed, Quick Boot, etc. which require root, just hold down the power button for about 7 or 8 seconds until the phone reboots. And Airplane Mode can be accessed easily enough from the Status Bar pull-down--> Quick Settings.

Notification Panel Button(What is the button like a slider?)

Hello guys,
After some updates, I noticed a button like a slider on notification panel but it is not active.
I could not slide right side or something like that. It seems fixed button.
What was that?

do a long press on it and it should bring up app info for the app that created it. then just click on the i symbol

It could not push long press or something. It is fixed.

that's not a notification. it looks like a tab to bring up a side bar or news service, could be a horizontal homescreen indicator (haven't used tw in years sorry), does it move or stay still ?
