[Q] Lost Gingerbread stock keyboard dictionary - GT540 Optimus General

Hello, guys!
I installed the Joestone's AOSP 2.3.2 ROM, but the stock keyboard does not have any word on its language dictionary.
Does anybody know where and how to install/import one? I really need the PT-BR (brazillian Portuguese) one.
Thanks!

I'll upload it when i come home,to my pc .

Indonesian Language for SMS

Does anyone know how to do that? I downloaded and installed already MoreLocale2 and the custom HTC_IME, but still can't use Indonesian as a language to use for sms.
Only the European languages and Chinese/Thai, which came originally with the phone, work.
I don't want to root, ideally I would just have to download an .apk or new IME file, but can't seem to find the right one. Can anyone help?

Here you go:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/sho...t=Gingerbread+android+keyboard,+root+required
I use it on my non-rooted official Froyo
Erwin
I'm using the application from the market: https://market.android.com/details?id=com.moo.android.inputmethod.latin.free&feature=search_result
Has some language packs, en there are a few optional(Check out more apps from deleveloper for additional language packs such as Dutch). Works well on unrooted wildfire.
Oh thanks mate, you're a big help! if there anything I can help you with in the future, just pm.
Once again thanks.

It's work fine, thanks. But can you change the lock screen to froyoMod 2.8 or Gingerbread.
I will look into it.

But one problem, When I install this them, it delete Arabic language in phone setting. Please help me to fix it, I like this them.
Thats because it uses the APAC framework files. I will create one for the Arabic rom, but you have to test it for me as i do not have my milestone.
What is the name of the arabic sbf file? Is it available on and-devopers?

When i flash Ginger keyboard from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=12366159&postcount=846 and select English and Arabic language for this keyboard, but when i change to Arabic, it's not change letters to Arabic.
I'm searching a way for resolving this problem.
Can you help???????
That keyboard does not have arabic language support.

i encourage u to install CyanogenMOD for Milestone RC10
it has full Arabic support for the keyboard and the interface
better performance .... it is times better than the original motorola
the only thing u loose is writing Arabic using the hardware keyboard as this is not implemented yet
motorola is not going to release any updates for the milestone so this would be the next UPGRADE if you need the latest Android on your Milestone, As long as Kabaldan keeps updating it

Is there a way to extract the keyboard Cyanogen MOD ROM for Milestone original ROM 2.2.1 with Arabic language support......????
LatinIME.apk and its corresponding libjni_latinime.so file will be required. The app is in the /system/app folder while the other file is in the /system/lib folder.
You can use the flashable zip from the earlier post you gave me. Just replace the files with the ones from CM7.

[STRIPPED] [ENG] Default ics keyboard in 1.7MB

Hi all.... Since I don't use any other language than English, and nor do I plan to learn one, I stripped the ics keyboard into 1.7MB. I thought it better to share it with you all.
The original apk is 12.7MB. The apk was taken from hephappy 's cm9 rc2 pre final. Now I have another 11MB to spare and to put apps from /data into /system.
If it was anything useful to you, press thanks!

First off, wrong section. Second, is your Tab rooted? I imagine it would be easy to find the Samsung keyboard apk in system/app using a root explorer.
