He posted in the right place. Development forums are only for posting builds/roms. But you can ask questions inside of a already posted topic about said build.

What exactly do u mean doesnt need an sdcard. Meaning doesnt run off of the sdcard? If so any desire build in the nand development section will work. Pick one that suits you best. Try segios build...its really nice.

AFAIK unless you have a 1024 HD2, you end up with something like 5mb free space on a DesireHD build without using an SD card. This is possibly why it hung (hanged?). I remember reading that if you do have a 1024 HD2 then Desire HD builds will work without an SD card.
Anyway, desire ROMs are small enough and there are others out there. I'm currently using a Hyperdroid GB ROM and I can remove the SD card without issues. Phone reports...:
Storage Space:278mb
Free Space: 84.85mb.
...I have loads of apps installed as well.
Hope this helps
Hyperdroid build ->http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=918899
This is what I use ATM
DesireZ/HD -> http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=962600
I used this ROM for a long time. Good build that uses SD card as data partition unless you are a lucky one with a 1024HD2
thanks for ur answer so there is nothing to do with the leo512
but i have another question to ask
is there a desire rom that have the newer sense found in the desire hd roms?
thanks for ur help currently using derie stock rom by dft
There won't be as that's what makes the DHD ROM's different compared to the Desire ones. Why would you wanna remove the SD card during boot anyway? Btw, I recommend the DHD Revolution build by Arif-ali. Seems to work quite well.
Currently I am running gauner's dhd rom and do not need an SD card and have 50 something MB free internal memory...
Edit: EU Leo with 512MB
Internal : 221 MB / Free: 57,5 MB

[Q] NAND or SD - Whats faster?

Hey guys,
I know that there are some threads about this topic are floating around here but I could find a thread described with a class 10 card - what is faster? installing Android on NAND or install on SD (Class 10?)
Thaanks
Robin
nand will always be faster than sd method, regardless of card speed class
The fastest is neither..ram build is the fastest
Sent from my HD2 using XDA Windows Phone 7 App
A RAM Build? Oo ;D
NAND is faster, besides SD Builds have lots of bugs

Thanks Will continue to use my NAND Build

Required for what?
If you delete WM , install a brand new Android Version (2.3.5 maybe with HTC Sense) you dunno need Wm anymore.
The fastest way is a NAND Rom with Apps on SD (on a fast one, like your class10 sd card).

Have you even tried looking in the NAND Development forum? There are tonnes of those to choose from. Read the sticky at the top by yz.hd for a good list of almost all of them.

dude, i am looking for a Sence nand rom (since I use HTCsync) that will install on the phone's internal memory only without the need to partition and use my external SDCARD (of the HD2 EU version).
AFAIK, I couldn't find any ROM beside the one that I posted its link in my previous post that can be installed on the phone's internal memory only !
Any help is highly appreciated !

Literally a few seconds on the NAND Development page and I found this. The OP clearly states that A2SD is an extra addon, and post 4 confirms this. Should be fine for you

Not sure if any of those don't use SD EXTs for EU models, but if so it will be a 2.3.3 with Sense 2.1 ROM. I'm reasonably sure that Sense 3.0 + is far too big to fit only on NAND storage. Also, the whole point of the Q&A is to ask questions and get answers So there isn't any need to be embarassed unless you haven't searched yet
You can try Team Blue Droid by Dansta, it is GB with Sense 3.5. All you need to do is flash it, as long as you do not have an sd-ext then it will automatically flash as a Tmous HD2 and install the rom on internal memory.

Nand only sense 3.5 on a EU hd2 without sd-ext? are you sure that thing even exist?
Even if it does, I doubt you'll be able to install more than just a couple of apps.
Use YZ sticky compilation to find sense 3.5 roms, and start narrowing them down.

Most stable and easy androind build?

Hey, I have a HD2.. And i am new to this forum.
I would like to know i have an spl version of 3.03 something. I want to get android on my phone. the last conversion i did was very unstable. sometimes the dialler didnt work. my signals stopped dropping. apps started to crash.
So this time i want to do the most stable android installation. which i can easily revert back also.
So please help me with this. I dont want it to lag or anything. apps shud run fine. no issue with singals and diallers etc.
Do u want it on NAND (internal memory) or on the SD card?
For both i recommend the Tytung kernel and mod its a great and stable one, i use ics 4.0.4 with kernel 3,2 and cm 9 -rhc2. i use Nand but also its possible in SD. view the treaths.

any ICS ROM can play 720p video ? i tryed some ROM but all of them not work
my favorit is this fast and stable for everyday use
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1769081
I use LEO King Rom, it runs well and i have no issues with it, and as far as i know, 720p doesnt play on any ICS rom from my experience.
Typhoon or Hyperdroid have been the fastest builds I've ever used. Haven't seen a bug in months too.
+1 for Energy
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=733649
It is fast, stable, and Sense 3.5 (the latter is essential for me ).
I used NexusHD2 builds for some time and I really like them. Tytung also releases frequent updates to its kernel as well which were always nice improvement :good:

You could fairly easily make one yourself, just open the ROM's .zip and delete any apps, ringtones, bootanimations, notification sounds etc. that you don't use. You may be able to get it under 155MB that way.

You can use Link2SD or ROM's with DataOnEXT script (only if you have EXT partition on SD)
Sent from my PIXELDROID HD2 using XDA
yep, A2SD, Check the script in my signature. Its very useful, Even if u bring it down to 155mb, still doesnt leave alot left

will it work on jb rom ?
i v heard that a2sd scripts make some trobbles with ics and jb roms
Sent from my HTC HD2
get a good sd card.. then it will work fine.. for example..
Kingston 8GB Class 4 (works very bad!)
Kingston 4GB Class 4 (works fine..)
but nand is much faster even on EU HD2.. i have 205MB partition (system)..
deleted maps.. youtube. and few unnecessary apps.. and have still 100+MB of free space for apps.. few you can move to SD and its okay!

I think using dataonext and nativeSD is much better than a2sd. Most of JB roms support both.

I used it mainly for ICS because at the time, i coudnt find any script that woudnt slow down the phone, except this one. It works on ICS for sure, no problems or anything. You will have to try it on JB for yourself. I personally dont think it will create any problems but still make a backup

The int2ext script IS basically dataonext.
