Is this true the galaxy note is getting a successor already!
Here's what I found.
A mysterious Samsung smartphone has received a Wi-Fi interoperability certificate recently under the name of Samsung GT-N8010. Since the Galaxy Note’s model number is GT-N7000, and this is the only official device from Samsung to have a model name that starts with an N, the new N8010 could very well be its successor
This is a well known marketing maneuver, obviously Samsung is well aware that GNote will be a big hit, so they are discouraging the competition by implying that a newer one is in the works.
However I myself don't believe that there will be one until the end of 2012.
Some say it's the US version, but who knows!
If Samsung's previous naming system is anything to go by, I would wager that the GT-N8010 the the WiFi-only version of something. The GT-N8000 is probably the 3G/4G device.
Actually beside being an old marketing ploy the Galaxy Note IS coming to AT&T as the GT-N7000B sometime early '12. It's been well known for months that the Note would be released in the United States as an AT&T SuperPhone minus the singular"Home" button.
My, my, did we forget it passed the FCC back in September/October (+/- a few days) 2011? According to the FCC they've already designated it as the GT-N7000B, but that can always change - right up to it's release. Plus keeping in line with the Galaxy S II family you count on capacitive on-screen buttons instead of that lone Homey Button.
Rumor has it that another reason it hasn't been released here at home is the ongoing, ever-perpetual, no end in sight patent war with Apple. Apple would have a field day claiming design patents were violated among other accusations. They'd do anything to delay or block the GT-N7000B's launch here.
Although the home button serves 2 important functions removing it would allow even more functionality.
This single action would fix the lag caused by the system/sensor waiting to determine if the the voice command app is being activated by the user. Also, by simply removing that lone, single physical button you'd add to the already vast screen real estate from 5.3" to whopping 5.5". Not only would it be a full inch larger to anything currently on the market, it would very likely be the deciding factor in determining whether it's a phone or tablet.
Personally I'd like a clear plane without any physical buttons. Can you imagine the beauty of this phone with a silky smooth 5.3" or 5.5" screen on it's 9mm chassis. This alone would be the most positive outcome achieved by removing that single button. It would most definitely be a work of art! But I could be wrong.
Then again,ME wrong...never!

IMOHO, I'd like a clear plane with NO buttons, just a pure 5.3" screen! That to me is the only positive that might be achieved from removing it. I could be wrong though.

I went ahead and got the "German" version because I got tired of waiting 6 months after a product is released, (except for iJunk) for it to make it to the
USA. That and the usually crippled nature, bloatware infested devices that
due ACTUALLY make it to the USA.
Then, comes the "when will android xxx.xx ever get here" that the U.S. carriers
delay delay delay.
At least with a non branded device, updates are usually more frequent, it isn't
locked down, and the functionality of the device is what the manufacturer intended...not what the carrier leaves you with.
I've had 2 unbranded smart phones, and 1 unbranded plain phone in my life and without a doubt, they run smoother, work better than their carrier locked-bloated versions.

I highly doubt it will have a bigger screen plus chances are it will have the slower snapdragon processor so that they can put in LTE into it. No thanks

Removing the physical home button would not gain you more functionality. It would actually lose functionality. With it, you can wake the device with it instead if the power button, which is a great feature, because it's so much easier to use than the power button.
Removing it will do nothing to fix the lag. The AT&T GSII with 4-strip capacitive buttons lagged the same as the international model because the voice control functionality is still there and invoked the same way. It would be the same with the Note.
There's no chance they'll put a 5.5" screen into the American version just because they removed the home button. They would have to increase the width of the phone to fit it. If they were able to decrease the bezel, they would have done it on the initial Note.
Let's not forget that ATT will probably develop an "enhanced" data plan for the phone since the screen and media output capabilities creep into their tablet sales.
I'll keep my German version thank you very much.

+1 Preach it brother! Amen!
When I heard that at$t was going to CRIPPLE the note with a snapdragon I bought a German Note right then and there! Happy as can be! Most of the unwashed masses will just see the big screen and think coool, and not care about the processor. LTE won't even be in my area until late 2012 so I could care less. JLG1985 , you don't know what you're talking about. But we all make mistakes so we forgive you.
I hope its the version that plays nice with the US T-Mobile 1700 spectrum band...

I'm a big fan of Exynos (SGS2 I9100 owner), but I'm also pretty impressed with the Qualcomm MSM8660 in my Tab 8.9 LTE (SGH-I957).
Out of the box, it's a bit slower compared to 1.4GHz on the Exynos Note.
But, I've overclocked it to 1.94GHz, and it's benchmarking better than my SGS2 (Siyah kernel) clocked at 1.4, and a dead heat when the SGS2 is running at 1.6.

In day to day use, well, it's difficult to compare apples to apples since the Tab is running Sluggycomb, vs Gingerbread on the SGS2, but in applications and browsing, it does great, gaming doesn't suck, and it was a HUGE performance upgrade from my Tegra 2 Tab 10.1, especially with media playback.
Also keep in mind that the SGS2 is 800x480, the Tab 8.9 LTE is 1280x800, so in GPU benchmarks, the Tab LTE has to work harder. The Adreno 220 is decent, roughly on par with the PowerVR 540, but less powerful than than the Mali 400..
TL;DR, a Snapdragon Note wouldn't totally suck, especially if LTE and DC HSPA+ 42mbs was important to you.
And that said, I'm still picking up an Exynos Note tomorrow, I'm not in an LTE area yet.
here's to hoping it's gonna be a 7+ inch tablet that also has an s-pen

Hahaha! Love it!
Kind of funny now that 'making calls' is something you can't assume your newest smartphone will be able to do. =P
I know the iPhone 4 reception problems have been blown up massively across the internet (after all, most people have a case for their iPhone = antenna fix), but Apple products don't usually have widely-publicised problems, so perfect opportunity to jump in with some comparative marketing.
In Australia we've finally gotten some good Android phones with the HTC Desire, Xperia X10 and Galaxy S but no-one knows what 'Android' is to the point where it isn't even mentioned on the feature lists or advertising for them! There has been no investment in marketing Android down here, although finally the telcos are promoting one of these 3 as their flagship phones.
Considering Blackberries and WinMo have little presence down here either, Apple pretty much owns the Australia smartphone market, so they have tons of potential customers wanting some sort of alternative to the iPhone but unaware that there is any.
After 2 friends were both separately needing a new phone I showed them both the Desire and they immediately fell in love with it, both not real techy people but picked up how to use it very fast and are enjoying the 'uniqueness' factor of owning a non-iPhone smartphone in Australia (eg: people on the bus near you staring trying to work out what it is you're using).
Loving my Galaxy S so far, but they need to run some clever Android advertising down here to let the market know they have a choice beyond Apple, which unlike the US is available on EVERY network down here.
It used to be here in the UK that I knew more friends with iPhones than Android (and indeed I had the iPhone 3G myself)
Now, I'd say 40% of my smartphone wielding friends are using an Android handset. The iPhone has lost the "wow" factor (and I was seriously wow-ed back in 2007, it was obvious this was the first smartphone that wouldn't be like operating DOS 2.0)
For me, strangely enough, I started researching Android when Apple began suing HTC - after all, I knew any credible competition would get sued if they were getting close to superseding iPhone and because I use all Google cloud services Android started making a lot of sense to me and is, of course, cheaper than Apple "premium" prices (not that my iPhone 3G was premium quality, with a cracking back plastic case and dust under the screen).
Then you look at Steve Job's record of mis-direction and you realise you just can't trust his RDF or BS or whatever you want to call it. Android is not perfect but I'd say it's more open in terms of transparency, and of course AOSP.
What I'm not keen on is the carrier customisations (being spoilt coming to SGS from a N1/Froyo) - but the SGS doesn't seem to suffer too badly apart from initial firmware bugs (I get all my phones factory unlocked for various reasons, including my iPhone 3G which at the time had to be imported from Italy!!)
I really think the hardware in the SGS is more future proof than the N1, but the software is still catching up.
If iPhone5 has a 4" or 4.3" screen and can sync OTA with iTunes then I might be tempted back. But I reckon the SGS flexibility of ROMs will trump iPhone5 anyway.
Well, I'm looking forward to when people in Australia realise they have a choice. Android is unknown to the point where I walked into one of the telcos (Virgin) and asked what Android handsets they have, and both and sales assistant and manager stared at me and asked if that was like a Nokia or something. =S
iOS4 is a step in the right direction for Apple and few can deny they have very stable, smooth software that is very intuitive to use and learn. However, I've fallen in love with the customisation of Android and (true) multitasking, as well as having a choice of handsets. Eg: if one had a flaw like the iPhone 4's antenna problem, you can choose a different phone. I was deciding between the HTC Desire and Galaxy S, for example.
On a side note, I was very very interested in the iPhone 4 until I heard only certain apps and parts of apps will allow multitasking, not to mention I'm left-handed so my hand would cause the reception issues. Also the fact that when I inquired about what plans the iPhone 4 would be on down here, it would be $0 on about the $89+ a month plans over 24 months for the 16gb.
The Galaxy S and HTC Desire are $0 on $49 a month plans over 24 months, and are unlocked.
Things that would make Android perfect and will hopefully be priorities in Gingerbread:
- Interface speed / fluidity. Apple has this down pat, but while Android is very responsive it isn't quite the same smooth and seamless experience. For example, scrolling between homescreens.
- Consistency. Another thing Apple has good, I've heard the beautiful Gallery app is the style the Gingerbread interface overhaul is being modelled off, so should hopefully fix this too. At the moment both market and built-in apps are a bit all over the place in interface design and usability, so need some more consistency.
- Multitasking awareness. Love multitasking, but having seen WebOS's cards that let you look at ALL the apps you still have running and exit any with a touch, I'd much prefer this to using a task killer. Kind of hard in Android at the moment to know if you've actually exited the app or whether it's still going in the background chewing up CPU and RAM. Holding the home button lets you see only the last 6 things you have running, and can't tell if they've stopped or still going.
Those are just my thoughts. =)
hmmm
while this is very funny, I think its also dangerous cause the SGS suffered the from the death grip also (at least mine did, at before update to JG5).
Perception vs Reality.
Frankly until I see some dBm values recorded by these so-called "expert" testing facilities then it's all overblown bunk.
However, I don't see Samsung handing out free phone bumpers to fix an issue that doesn't exist, do you?

And now, some facts:
1- Even though the Galaxy S is claimed to "lose signal" from gripping it, only half the users are able to replicate this, and only on 3G signal.
2- Only 1 user among more than 200 device owners we have here complained about dropping calls, and it seems like the said user is very biased against the device.
3- The nature of the "Issue" between the 2 devices is VERY different:
For the iPhone, it's enough for you to bridge the gap between the 2 metal parts with a single finger to be able to drop a call and/or repliacate the antennagate problem.
With the galaxy s... people are going out of their way, gripping the device in various very un-natural ways, to replicate a "problem" that doesn't even seem to exist.
Some food for thought.
funny, apple deserved it for being such a cry baby. Who in their right mind start swagging blindly at all other competitors when your products are shown to be defective?

Same. Super excited about the 720p screen. Considering my laptop is 15" and 1280x800 its quite astonishing how far screen technology evolved :\ Although apparently its still pentile but considering my Epic is already pentile I think I should be fine.
What I want:
1.5 GHz Dual Core (or even quad-core? maybe too early still)
10-12 MP Camera (There is an android phone expected to have a 12 MP camera soon, so it would be cool to see the NP have one)
720p display (which seems confirmed)
4.5-4.65" display (which is also likely)
BETTER BATTERY LIFE? (2000 mAh??!!?)
ICS will bring a huge update to the OS, but most likely UI which is cool
Anyone else agree?
Lol Galaxy S II already blows iPhone 4S out of the water:

I would agree with this for the most part. I don't think we'll see a quad-core in this guy quite yet. As for the camera, MP is only a fraction of what makes a good camera. I personally believe the camera on the Epic is pretty rock solid for a phone.
I think once you get over a 4.5" screen, it's getting to be too big for a phone. I would like to see it no more than 4.5". However, even with the lack of buttons, I'm surprised at how much 'dead' space there is at the bottom of the phone. I figured without the buttons, they would be able to utilize about the whole front as the screen. They can put the carrier branding crap on the back.
Not only would I like to see a bigger capacity battery, but I'm guessing ICS probably has some good things in it which will improve batter life as it is.
If this thing comes to Sprint, it shall be my next phone, without question!

Will someone please tell me where all these ridiculous rumors that Verizon will get any exclusivity on the next Nexus came from? Let's stack up the evidence:
1) Verizon to this date is the ONLY carrier who does not currently have even 1 Nexus phone.
2) Verizon actively refused these phones because they couldn't ruin them with bloat; a factor that has not changed.
2a. The Nexus phones aren't crazy big sellers and thus wouldn't change Verizon's decision, especially not enough to make them pay for exclusivity.
3) Google is crazy in bed with Sprint right now with Google Wallet and Google Voice being exclusive services currently.
4) Google just tricked the Nexus lines current customers into signing 2 year contracts with T Mobile and Sprint; why would they intentionally screw developers by making it so they can't get this Nexus device without an ETF?
Evidence FOR Verizon exclusivity:
1) the words "Droid" and "Prime" were once seen written on the same line of text? And there is absolutely no proof that that phone exists or is not just a bloated Nexus variant.

This was true, until Sprint went and dumped $20B towards Apple. I really hope that didn't piss off Google too much. If I were getting cozy with someone and they went and did something like that, I would seriously have to reconsider my association/partnership with them.

And I would consider that compelling evidence against exclusivity on sprint as well. The decision for which carriers were getting this was made months ago and its unlikely that sprint was talking to google about buying the iphone all the way back then.

great features and specs, but i think it is totally hideous. It got killed by the home button being odly shaped and the corners start to round before the top of the screen. Just my opinion though, its stilla nice phone
I like the Smart Stay, Android 4.0.4 and ICS-y TouchWiz (now we know why SGS2 get Gingerbread-y TouchWiz).
It isn't near as bad as many people are making it seem. It's just because of how big of a deal Samsung made it that makes it more of a let down. If this was just announced normally at an event like MWC then people wouldn't be having that big of an issue. It's just how it got over hyped with Samsung sending it out to be tested in secret boxes, no leaks for anything at all, it's own big press conference, etc. It was sickening reading in the One X section with all their biased opinions on a phone they've never even seen or tried first person. Give it a chance.

Really, nice specs but it's hideous.
I gotta admit, It's a bit of a letdown. It looks a bit goofy but I have the feeling that a proper first hand hands on will turn my opinion around again, they are going for function over form with this one I guess. Also It has a pentile screen but seeing from videos and hearing description of reviewers is not enough to judge this category. Overall, I think the hate from many place will die down once it is released just like iPhone 4S, people are shouting, mocking, and taunting because it's only an iteration but suddenly no one is hating it anymore.

That's because no-one cares for the iPhone. They get what Apple gives them. Period. Android users do have a choice and over-hyped products that look like something blue and ugly crawled from the sea, made sex with a pebble and then gave birth to this thing, rarely stand a chance. It will still sell but won't be the success S2 was.
I really thought Samsung would put something nice on the table this time. Now I know why they didn't show it on MWC. Side by side with the HOX it would be a media disaster for them.
And all the fun we have with it at the HOX forum, is because the Samsung fanboys who never owned a HOX were saying for the past month "S3 will blow it out of the water" and now we saw what they meant. Noone wants to be in the same ocean with something as ugly as this thing. In a year and a half *maybe* there will be some apps that will run slightly better on the S3, but it will still be as ugly as it is today with the same ugly pentile screen.

The New Samsung GALAXY SIII A GALAXY Unpacked 2012 Video LiveStream
Enjoy
Galaxy S III vs. HTC One X
I wanna take this time to give a fair comparison of the Galaxy S III to HTC's flagship One X. Let me start by saying I am not a fanboy for any brand. I like any device that works, and works well. I choose my devices based on build quality, specs, and features. Software is never a dealbreaker for me, as I usually prefer to load custom ROM's (CM/AOSP mostly). That said, I must say I am quite impressed with the Galaxy S III so far.
In my own honest opinion (and without starting any fights), I felt like the original Galaxy S and even the GS2 were way overhyped. Yes, I agree that they are good devices, but I feel like they didn't really scream out "next gen" when they launched. With the specs on paper and even in real world benchmarks, the first 2 generations only just gave their Nexus counterparts a run for their money. At first glance, it looks like the GS3 is finally going to push the bar to the next level. Of course, HTC also has it's high-end contenders, and this time around it happens to be the One X.
Now, I am in the market for a new phone, and I was highly considering the One X. With all the hype leading up to the GS3, I thought about the previous two generations, and prematurely decided the third gen would end up like the first two. Well, I stand corrected. I could easily see myself buying a GS3, but I am still undecided. On one hand, I have always loved HTC's build quality, and the One X's features definitely fits my requirements. But on the other hand, the Galaxy S III has a few things HTC missed.
When it comes to raw horsepower, both devices are definitely packing a lot of power, so that leaves other things to consider. While I have yet to actually handle each phone in my own hands, my first impression about build quality would go to HTC's polycarbonate unibody design. I always prefer a body not made of plastic, but then again, the Gorilla Glass 2 on Samsung's flagship does give it an upper hand. So all in all, it's still a tie.
When it comes to the camera, HTC definitely wins here. Sure, both devices are 8MP, but as a photographer, I know that the lens makes all the difference. The HTC One X has a beautiful wide angle lens with f/2.0, and from what I've read, Samsung put more effort into the software, leaving it with just an average lens at best. HTC also spent a lot time perfecting their camera software, so they get bonus points for paying attention to all the small details.
Two other important factors for me are the ability to remove the battery and add an external microSD. Unfortunately, this is where HTC made their mistakes, and Samsung was right there to make it right. These are actually two of the biggest things that are giving me second thoughts about buying the One X, and opting for the GS3 instead.
But then I start thinking about the screen. Quality is more important to me than size, and while Samsung's may be a tenth of an inch bigger, it appears that HTC's Super IPS LCD2 wins here. Not to say Samsung's screen isn't good, but I was a bit surprised to see they forgot the Plus part of their HD Super AMOLED. Maybe they did this to leave some room for improvement when another variant of the GS3 comes out in the next 3-4 months. Who knows...
Other than a few other minor differences that could go either way, one final important feature is the battery itself. We all know smartphones are power hungry, so it goes without saying that Samsung's removable 2100mAh gives it an upper edge. Hopefully, it's enough to keep the phone charged for at least a couple of days. HTC's 1800mAh may also last a couple days, partially thanks to the Tegra 3's fifth power-saving core. But when it comes right down to it, 2100mAh simply sounds better. And did I mention it's removable?
This leaves me stuck with a hard decision to make. I'm sure I'll be happy either way, but in both cases, there will be some sacrifices to make, yet there will always be the satisfaction of having a powerful device nonetheless. You win some, you lose some.
I'm also considering a new tablet as well, so if only the Asus Padfone would come out. That would make this decision even harder!
I wish I had enough money to buy both
Love it
Gonna buy it !
Thats all i have to say!!
Best regards !
Awesome specs, design ain't so good. But for christ sake, what a hell of a specs.
I'd give my someone's left nut to have it

Had the original SGS and was originally holding out for the SGS3, and opted to go the HOX when it came out given the specs and couldn't be bothered waiting for the SGS3, and timing with my contract coming up for renewal.
S-Voice - Interested there's finally competition to Siri, but something I wouldn't use anyway.
Wireless Charging - Slow and a novelty.
Vibrate when pick up phone for notifications - Very neat, but if I'm picking up my phone, 9/10 I'll be looking at it anyway
Eye-focus thing - Very neat, only big feature I would quite like.
Now so glad I didn't wait around for it.

Not sure about the battery life but CloverTrail (not +) is superb energy-efficient according to Anandtech. We can underclock it for better battery life (because it's so strong)
I will keep my Note 2 until Note 3 but this one is interesting.
There are aspects like support and community acceptance

Lol community acceptance. It's living an alternative lifestyle with that diamond pattern.
It's kind of hard to compare the Gnote2 with this since it is of course newer and won't be released untli halfway into 2013 and even longer for western countries, or not at all since there are currently no immediate plans. Otherwise, the specs and hardware are quite ahead of the Gnote2. Much slimmer body, and one built from steel and polycarbonate and looks 100x more well built than the galaxy s3 and note2. There's not a single galaxy phone I've used recently that hasn't had a loose backcover and felt like it was falling apart. The screen is also 1080p, better than 720p, and looks like a high quality IPS screen. I like more natural and accurate colors, and the brightness is better for outdoors. The processor is too early for anyone to call, but the exynos/snapdragon that the note2 uses was already last gen when the nexus 4 came out, so any new phones since then that are competitive with an s4 pro will be faster than note2, such is life in the smartphone world. The camera looks to use Sony's new sensor, which will most likely be better than the note2. You can also turn off the lenovo skin, supposedly, and get the stock android experience, maybe. IT's better in almost all respects, but it is a newer, unreleased phone that so far has poor availability outside of asian countries so if you were thinking of picking up a phone right now, the note2 is better than a non-existent one.
I swear you guys get distracted by anything shiny...
Lenovo would not spill any details on pricing or availability, though the phone should first come to China later this year. The K900 runs on GSM and 3G UMTS networks, but it does not support 4G. That will diminish its appeal in 4G-rich markets like the United States.

For my opinion, i don´t think that it´s better to by a Phone from a company that has not so much experience with smartphones. Like kata.... said. It is non-existed Smartphone. And the experience from Lenovo in the Smartphone-Area is non-existed too. I think when its come out it will be buggy.
Still note 2 software owning other competitors. Yeh competitors hardware is newer/better but without right software you wont be satisfied...

Lol. Comparing a current phone to a just announced one is one thing. Comparing A just announced phone that has physical form and is press ready with a release date, to the pure speculation by certain samsung fans on a samsung forum, well, that statement stands for itself. The chance of the Note3 getting "unbreakable" glass is the same as the Note2's chance of getting an "unscratchable" ceramic body. But reality is always full of cheap shiny plastic. The octa-core processor is also pure speculation at this point, if it even comes out this year, and 70% power savings is really pure marketing baloney that no one should believe. The other specs you mentioned, plenty of current and just announced smartphones have. It's really nothing special, but expected. The k900 haas them, except for the removable battery. I'd rather Samsung get on the non-removable bandwagon, since they seem to be unable to make a backcover worth a damn. It will be increasingly hard to compete with sub 7mm phones and still have a semi-solid build and removable cover.

Why Would any one buy a note 3 without any of those upgrades and it is highly possible that majority of those specs will find their way in the next iteration of not all. Samsung has been ruling the market because of their rapid turnover of devices and hence they will continue to push the limits. ..hardware and software wise. ..and the competition will make sure they are on their toes
Samsung and ARM have been working on the big. Little chip for some time now and they both have been reported to be surprised by the power saving you get with it. .. though in final practical use. ..how good it would be have to be seen

This is absolutely insane! How the hell did Samsung allow the Exynos 990 out the gate with such poor performance. Your video, along with these two below is a major case for people to at least get refunds from Samsung, the Exynos is clearly not a proper flagship SoC at all!

Oh boohoo! Get over it. It's nothing that cant be resolved with a simple software update. And if you're a "gamer" you shouldn't be buying this phone anyway, it's not advertised as a gaming phone and therefore shouldn't be used as one. Yeah, it should do some gaming, but it was never designed for prolonged periods of intense gaming.

I totally agree exynos is not good compare to sd.
but people complain about not able to play games is totaly unacceptable(that to for only few good titles always compares to pubg).because Samsung is allround phone. so yes you can play game but not as gaming phone.also samsung never released a gaming phone yet wait for exynos and AMD collaberation.

Part of the problem is that Samsung’s are sold worldwide and in some places are the closest to a gaming phone we can get in a lot of regions, especially through carriers. Distribution of Xiaomi,RAZER and ASUS gaming phones is pretty limited. In many regions you will not even have after sales support and have to ship your phone off overseas if anything goes wrong.
Oh Samsung DO push gaming in their marketing of the S20 range:

Read what i wrote dude, it's nothing that cant be fixed with a simple software update. And i also wrote that its not being advertised as a gaming phone and therefore people shouldnt expect it to be one. Samsung have never said that the S20 range is designed purely for gaming. In their marketing, they've merely stated that it can game - and it can. Get over it and wait for Samsung to fix the issue. The device has been out less than a month...

Well I hope they WILL fix it with a software update, big difference between it being possible and them actually doing it. Let’s be cognizant of the fact that Exynos990 has A76 cores and not the newer and more efficient A77 found in the Snapdragon, a software update definitely won’t be able to fix the hardware, their software will probably try patch it up OR they can balance it out by bringing down Snapdragon performance but the latter option would just make people even more angry. They have little wiggle room with this it seems, one wonders how much more they could get out of the Exynos at this point.
Also they don’t have to advertise it as a gaming phone strictly, their claims in the S20 and Exynos990 marketing material both make a pretty big deal about its gaming capabilities which it actually does not live up to.
The Snapdragon on the other hand does a great job at living up to its claims.

Not whining is what helps brands get away with nonsense like this. Had people not whined the S20 Ultra would have continued to have Auto Focus problems. I will whine with my fellow enthusiasts whenever we see issues on our favourite devices.
You may go ahead and put me on your ignore list as this will not stop for as long as companies continue with such scumbaggery. I have been around here since the Windows Mobile 6 days and often seen crap like this get pushed under the carpet when nobody says anything.

Well if all you have to do is whine and moan about graphics performance on an SoC - then i wish you well with the rest of your life. We're all adults here (well, most of us anyway). It's a teething problem on a device that is less than a month old. It will get fixed. But people come to a public forum and say stuff like "Avoid at all costs" "Exynos variant is absolute trash" "DO NOT BUY" etc etc. It's a teething problem and people here are making a mountain out of a mole hill.

Exactly, we have seen this year after year, enough is enough at this point, especially the prices we pay for these devices.
Remember back in the Galaxy S4 days with the Exynos 5410 and Snapdragon 600 chip? And then again with the Galaxy Note 4 with the Snapdragon 805 and Exynos 5433.
It’s been going on for far too long, there is always this significant difference but this year is the biggest we have seen.
