hi, I want to ask about opera mobile browser, whenever I try to play a YouTube video, it shows a static screen of the. olideo with a a"play" Icon on it
when I press the Icon it navigates to a error page. containing the following:
You tried to access the address vnd.youtubejlM2Gyoypw?vndapp=youtube_mobile&vndclient=mv-google&vndel=related&vnddnc=1, which is currently unavailable. Please make sure that the web address (URL) is correctly spelled and punctuated, then try reloading the page.
Make sure your Internet connection is active and check whether other applications that rely on the same connection are working.
Need help?
Open the Opera Help.
Go to Opera's online support desk.
other browsers (kindle silk browser or firefox) launch the built in YouTube app, I don't mind that, but I like opera better
btw, I got latest Rom version and latest opera mobile version

Dolphin HD keeps crashing when I try and go full screen and Firefox doesn't have UA switching, at least I can't find it. Any help appreciated.

I've been using the AOSP Browser for the times I know I need to view flash content. I can't say for sure that full screen works, but it does have a UA switcher.
Check out this thread.
Dont use dolphin. use stock browser from ics. Works great with flash. Theres a thread here on it that has link to broswer and instructions. also to known working flash player. I can fullscreen flash with no problems. plays great.
Firefox has "request desktop site" in the settings at the top right corner.
Also try xScope Browser from the Play Store - so far ABC Player is the only video I've been unable to full screen.

Where are we seeing this request desktop version? Oh am i blind.

Hello Guys...
I am back again with a brilliant guide....
As the title says, with this guide you can control your phone directly from your PC..
Dont believe me??
See this

"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
Now lets see how to do it...
STEP 1.ownload and install the software called airdroid either from the attatchement or from play store..(Its free)
STEP 2.:Connect both your phone and pc with the wifi network..
STEP 3.:Now open the app and in your notification bar you will get URL link like 192.168.bla.bla.bla.
Paste that URL in your favorite browser in your pc or laptop.(I recommend Google Chrome)
STEP 4.:Now you will be asked to enter the password in your browser..
Dont worry just go to connection tab in airdroid, you will see a password..
Type that in the link and you are good to go..
STEP 5.:Have fun and press THANKS...
Reserved
Good guide.
Nice sharing,i didnt know about it

I use a simple way:
Open http://web.airdroid.com/ on my web browser on PC and just scan a QR Code with mobile app
Yes that is a simpler way but it is less secure as you can read in the airdroid homepage..
I agree with that, but only if you are using public network. With home network that isn’t problem.
New thing for me...I didn't knew its possible like this

Seems you're on the desktop site and not the mobile.
Remove check for request desktop site and try again.

ahh you are right! thanks.
i prefer the desktop mode for chrome though, i have a scripted that always request desktop mode. So is it possible for me to use the aosp browser for google now and not have it link to chrome? google search doesnt give me an option to pick what browser to use like other apps do. The only way i can use something else is to uninstall chrome.
AOSP browser or any other one should work just fine.

Go into app info for chrome. Clear defaults under launch by default.
I have a big issue with play store. I can't access it with via Nexus 7 or by computer. This is a screenshot with my Nexus:

And this is with Google Chrome:
Same is with any other browser. When I try to access it using a proxy, such as www.hidemyass.com, the web page is appearing normal:
What can I do to fix this issue?

Clear play store cache?
Possibly a router setting? Reset your router

I tried all that, no luck The only thing that helps is to use Market Enabler (which need root permision), fake provider, and then the store appears correctly. On browser the solution is to use proxy, but I'm not willing to use my personal e-mail details, like username and password, on some free proxy

Is there a way to force the stock browser into desktop mode permanently?
Sent from my SM-N900V using Tapatalk 2
I believe there is a setting for this on the Wanam Xposed module. Not sure how well it works and you do need root to use it.
Is that the only way go do it? Is there a User Agent setting that will make desktop the default?
I'd love to have this feature too. I looked all over exposed including download able modules and don't see the option. Any other suggestions.

Anyone know how to fix the browser only displaying the left half of the page?
I figured it out. First type in about:debug then you will see a this page-
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",
"lightbox_stop_slideshow": "Stop slideshow",

"lightbox_thumbnails": "Thumbnails",
"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
Then go into browser settings and select the newly available DEBUG menu option
Finally, go into the DEBUG settings and select the UA menu.
Finally, once inside of the UA menu select the Desktop option. ***Note- you then have to close out all browser windows, open up a new menu and Make sure Desktop view is checked off. NOTE__the browser will remain Desktop mode as long as you don't completely close out of all the browser windows.
Cheers :beer:
