when i press the weather card in google now i get this search result. I used to get a page with the weather of the area i am in with a slider that i can use to show hourly forecasts. This happened on both my nexus 4 and 7. i have no idea why since i dont think i change any settings, both gps and location services are on.

ahh you are right! thanks.
i prefer the desktop mode for chrome though, i have a scripted that always request desktop mode. So is it possible for me to use the aosp browser for google now and not have it link to chrome? google search doesnt give me an option to pick what browser to use like other apps do. The only way i can use something else is to uninstall chrome.
AOSP browser or any other one should work just fine.

Does anyone know of a good mobile image search program for winmo? I've been googling around and can't seem to find anything. I think it's crazy that Bing for iPhone has a great image search function but doesn't have anything on winmo. It looks like google only wants to develop for Android and iPhone. What I am looking for is something similar to what I have attached. Any ideas?

marketplace has a winmo image downloader called imagefinder based on bing.
I've searched for ImageFinder, but came up empty. Does it possibly have another name?
try it with a space between image and finder. i just did a search from image finder and it was the only result. also searching for just the word image also found it...
Okay I've found it on the website when I'm not logged in. But when I log in and search it doesn't come up. Also it will not come up on my phone. I guess it's just not available here in my region? I search Google for a .cab for it without success. I guess I'll just have to wait until Microsoft's search engine for their own product catches up with their search engine for their competitor.
Thanks for they help!

Yeah, I'd found it. The only problem is you can't download it unless you are logged in. Once I log in, I can't view that item. Even if I paste the link, it says that the application is not available for me. Go figure.
Thanks tho.

Sorry to hear that.
I apologize in advance if this question has been asked before, but, I absolutely HATE how the stupid samsung calendar is the default cal when making new events! I SWEAR THEY ARE STILL STUCK IN FEATURE PHONE WORLD! ahem, sorry for the outburst. Any way, is three a way to change that?
i'd like to know too.

X2 ^^ ... one feature that I missed the most that was on my G1 is the hyperlink of URL, address & phone number.
Especially the hyperlink for address, I drive around town alot for work, and plan my destinations on Calendar the night before. Not having the hyperlink to address has been a PITA.
s0niqu3 was able to push the stock 2.1 apps on to the Vibrant. Check out his post below. I haven't tried it out myself though.

Yeah nothing is more frustrating than putting in the address and when you want to navigate to it, it well doesn't work.
More specifically:
Replace touch wiz calendar with google default

That bar on top pisses me off, but I would rather have a tiny annoyance than using the TouchWiz calendar.
Follow the directions though, you have to remove the TouchWiz Calendar and TouchWiz Calendar Provider FIRST with a root file explorer or ADB (which I never got working), and then uninstall the residuals from Settings>Applications. THEN push/move the two apk's in the linked thread to system/app, then reboot.
You will lose access to a few TouchWiz widgets, and the home dock app won't work.
hi, I want to ask about opera mobile browser, whenever I try to play a YouTube video, it shows a static screen of the. olideo with a a"play" Icon on it
when I press the Icon it navigates to a error page. containing the following:
You tried to access the address vnd.youtubejlM2Gyoypw?vndapp=youtube_mobile&vndclient=mv-google&vndel=related&vnddnc=1, which is currently unavailable. Please make sure that the web address (URL) is correctly spelled and punctuated, then try reloading the page.
Make sure your Internet connection is active and check whether other applications that rely on the same connection are working.
Need help?
Open the Opera Help.
Go to Opera's online support desk.
other browsers (kindle silk browser or firefox) launch the built in YouTube app, I don't mind that, but I like opera better
btw, I got latest Rom version and latest opera mobile version

As subject,
How to make stock LG browser (aka. Internet) to open Web pages in desktop view by default?
Tried changing UA settings within hidden debug settings (about:debug), doesn't seems to work.
Thanks
Are you using kitkat rom? That web browser is pretty much broken with kitkat, no idea why lg put/left it in kitkat.
It's a real shame because it was my favourite browser by far.

Since the last firmware update, this prompt repeatedly shows up, and I have no idea what will happen in case I accept it and how can I decline it.
Also, I checked and I have no application called HiSearch installed and I can't view what application gives me this prompt.
Does anyone have an idea about this?

Yes I saw this thread as well, but the strange thing is that my tablet does not have any app like that. I checked it both in the Android settings and through adb.
