Is there a way to force the stock browser into desktop mode permanently?

I believe there is a setting for this on the Wanam Xposed module. Not sure how well it works and you do need root to use it.
Is that the only way go do it? Is there a User Agent setting that will make desktop the default?
I'd love to have this feature too. I looked all over exposed including download able modules and don't see the option. Any other suggestions.

Anyone know how to fix the browser only displaying the left half of the page?
I figured it out. First type in about:debug then you will see a this page-
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",
"lightbox_stop_slideshow": "Stop slideshow",
"lightbox_full_screen": "Full screen",
"lightbox_thumbnails": "Thumbnails",
"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
Then go into browser settings and select the newly available DEBUG menu option
Finally, go into the DEBUG settings and select the UA menu.
Finally, once inside of the UA menu select the Desktop option. ***Note- you then have to close out all browser windows, open up a new menu and Make sure Desktop view is checked off. NOTE__the browser will remain Desktop mode as long as you don't completely close out of all the browser windows.
Cheers :beer:

Hello Guys...
I am back again with a brilliant guide....
As the title says, with this guide you can control your phone directly from your PC..
Dont believe me??
See this
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",
"lightbox_stop_slideshow": "Stop slideshow",
"lightbox_full_screen": "Full screen",
"lightbox_thumbnails": "Thumbnails",
"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
Now lets see how to do it...
STEP 1.ownload and install the software called airdroid either from the attatchement or from play store..(Its free)
STEP 2.:Connect both your phone and pc with the wifi network..
STEP 3.:Now open the app and in your notification bar you will get URL link like 192.168.bla.bla.bla.
Paste that URL in your favorite browser in your pc or laptop.(I recommend Google Chrome)
STEP 4.:Now you will be asked to enter the password in your browser..
Dont worry just go to connection tab in airdroid, you will see a password..
Type that in the link and you are good to go..
STEP 5.:Have fun and press THANKS...
Reserved
Good guide.
Nice sharing,i didnt know about it

I use a simple way:
Open http://web.airdroid.com/ on my web browser on PC and just scan a QR Code with mobile app
Yes that is a simpler way but it is less secure as you can read in the airdroid homepage..
I agree with that, but only if you are using public network. With home network that isn’t problem.
New thing for me...I didn't knew its possible like this

Does anyone know where the notification access menu option has gone in Paranoid Android 3.97. I'm pretty sure it was under security in stock 4.3 but I can seem to fine it anywhere in PA. Has it been intentionally removed?
Any ideas?
If you mean the notification history? Then you have to place a settings widget on your homescreen, and once you do so you will be prompted to select which settings you would like to see, then just select notifications. Now you can access the notification history by pressing on that widget

No I mean the notification access menu where you can grant applications that use the NotificationListenerService class access to read notifications:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
I have just checked on a friends stock 4.3 nexus 4 and it seems the menu option has been removed from there, hence not in PA (or any other rom) either.
Does anyone know why this menu option was removed from stock 4.3?
EDIT: I have confirmed the activity is still there and still does the job so just curious why it was removed from the UI.
UPDATE: Browsing the source code reveals that the menu option is hidden if you have no apps that use the new NotificationListenerService. Installing a app that uses makes the menu option appear under the security screen.

I have a T-Mobile LG G2 and have guest mode enabled. There are about 12 apps selected in guest mode. I'm trying to add another app but it won't show on guest mode even though it has a check mark.
I've tried removing another app thinking it was "full" but that didn't work.
It's all stock. Any ideas??

Just uncheck the check mark on guest mode and add the new apps you want to add, recheck the guest mode box and you will be all good. You will have to reset the lock screen pattern as well. I just tried it and it worked fine for me, good luck to you. Cheers

OK. How would I do that? Cause I've tried unselecting all apps and deselecting apps and the app that doesn't get added is random.

As subject,
How to make stock LG browser (aka. Internet) to open Web pages in desktop view by default?
Tried changing UA settings within hidden debug settings (about:debug), doesn't seems to work.
Thanks
Are you using kitkat rom? That web browser is pretty much broken with kitkat, no idea why lg put/left it in kitkat.
It's a real shame because it was my favourite browser by far.

Hello
I was looking for the customizable Google Search widget update when I first heard the news about it.
I have realized that I am now using much more recent version of the same. .
But I still could not get the overflow menu in the widget to customize it.
Did anyone got luck with that?
I am in the Google app beta and have it

Are you using stock launcher ?

Am i using incompatible version ?
I am not getting the overflow menu.
It seems to be tied to the main account on a phone. I just set up my partner's new S8 and the custom option appeared. Not on my S8 or G6. I don't think it's phone specific, but rather tied to an account that has it activated. Very frustrating.
