Boot loop and recover stock ROM - Galaxy Note GT-N7000 General

Hello.
Recently I installed this...
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1389394
...and I stuck on boot loop.
So angry of this stuff, however there should be a way,how to wipe data using recovery.
Actually I did the full wipe, but no luck. Boot loop is still present.
What's worse,I am not able 99% of time to enter recovery. Is there a way,how to SURE enter recovery? I hold buttons as I can,1% of attempts I am luckily entered there.
Another thing: If full wipe doesn't help,is there a way to reformat stock ROM or do I need some custom ROM to install?
Thanks.

anyone!!!
I have same issue. Need to install stock rom and adb not recognized. Wish there was some way to recover data too as I had some pics on there (yes I'm an idiot for not backing those up)

Hi.
I was using RR v22 and decided to flash stock kk2 rom via Odin.
It was all right but now my phone keep boot looping.
I can enter download mode.
What should I do?
Thx.

I tried home + vol. up + power to enter recovery mode and it worked (couldnt do it earlier)...
Then I full wiped and now I have my Note back!
Thx anyway!

last resort method.
enter download mode. (remove battery - use the 3 button combo vol down, home, power - reinsert battery) (easier if you have usb jig)
use pc-odin to flash stock rom.

[Q] TMo LG G2 help

After messing around with my phone and hoping to gain more storage space, I formatted my internal drive(via TWRP) without thinking of the consequences.
Background: my phone was rooted with TWRP v2.6.3.2 for recovery.
Now my phone is stuck on bootloop with the LG logo on the display. I connected the phone to a PC laptop and it's not being detected for obvious reasons. I am unable to enter download mode but can get to TWRP recovery. I tried method 2 here since I don't have ADB access, http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2451696 but no joy.
Where do I go from here? TIA.
Since you can still access your recovery, try flashing a new ROM. I don't know why you're unable to get to download mode. If due to a miracle you're able to get to download mode, follow these steps to restore to factory settings.

For download mode hold just volume up, then plug the cable in.

[Q] Any type of Recovery goes to Download/Odin Mode?

Hi everyone!
Today I attempted to install a ROM for the first time using ROM Manager. I flashed Clockwork Mod Recovery and then downloaded CyanogenMod and tried to install it (pressed Reboot / Install in ROM Manager). My phone then went into Download/Odin mode. It then didn't do anything for ~10 minutes, and after taking out the battery, the phone still went into Download mode. I got it to boot normally by pressing Home + Power + Volume Down and then pressing cancel when it prompted me to enter download mode. However, every time I attempt to boot into recovery, normally or ClockWork, the phone just goes to download mode. I even tried to do a factory reset, and the phone booted again into Download Mode.
Does anyone know how I can fix this?
Thanks!

My phone won't boot after installing the latest DU custom rom. I followed the steps here https://plus.google.com/+AlexCruz/posts/JJ5d9v6DArW - rooted and installed latest clockwork mod recovery, did a backup, and wiped everything, then installed the custom rom. But now it is stucked at the Dirty Unicorns boot screen.. Please help.
Some extra info: I was on 4.2.2 (802 international) before the flash
Edit: i can't even get to recovery now, by holding power and volume down buttons at LG logo. Is my phone dead?

Are you getting to the factory hard reset prompt? You have to go through that to get back into the recovery. Then you can just restore from Backup.

--This is copied and paste from another thread--
"You should be able to get to CWM recovery by using the hardware button (power and volume down held down, flash LG logo for a second, and then shuts off--only then you can turn it back on by holding power and volume down together until LG logo pops on, then let go of both buttons quickly, hold down both power and volume down again, and then quickly let go of the volume down button: a white factory reset screen should pop up and then you can push power button alone twice to enter CWM recovery).
If above does not work, you may need to KDZ back to stock using download mode (google LG G2 download mode) and USB cable (the one that comes with the phone as some USB cable won't work as they're charge only cable). You'll have to reroot with IOROOT25 and start over again."

I have no idea what fastboot or download mode is but your phone should be soft-bricked? If you can get into recovery or the factory reset screen you should be safe.
I wasn't able to get into the recovery at first but then I kept trying and trying and managed to get in by luck. Lol. I then wiped everything including Dalvik cache in Advanced and rebooted and was relieved to find it booted into Dirty Unicorns. I guess i was lucky.

It seems to start the flashing method but after 4-5 second it says fail.
i didnt find any stock kernel to my nougat galaxy s7 edge.
i hope that i didnt destroy my phone totally.
You can't boot to twrp right ?
Because your kernel is on the "boot.img", you have to flash it.

I had the exact same problem and was having the same error even trying to flash stock form Odin.
Solution:
Restart Odin
Boot into TWRP
Boot back to Download mode but from TWRP not from the button combo
Flash stock ROM (available from Sammobile) through Odin
That worked and I didn't lose anything but of course it will overwrite TWRP.

Ah yes ok I misread. I want to say it would work even if you went directly to download mode, but if it doesn't, I would try flashing TWRP again after killing all involved processes.
Solution here
https://www.sammobile.com/forum/showthread.php?t=38591
Code:
2) Boot into download mode by pressing ( power + volume down + Bixby button) and stop at the screen of continue and reboot.
Press volume down to restart phone
Quickly boot back into download mode by pressing (power + volume down + Bixby button)
Press continue
Congratulations fully working now
3) Install firmware with Odin
4) Wait for the firmware to be installed
5)Ready)))

H870 which boot only in recovery mode

Hello, guys.
I've a little problem... Earlier, i decided to download LineageOS 14.1 on my LG G6 H870. Everything worked perfectly, then, i decided to download the latest nightly update (OTA). It has been downloaded and installed on my phone, but now, my phone reboot only in recovery (TWRP) mode. Even if i format data, even if i flash another rom like Fulmics. It boots only in recovery mode (but i have access to fastboot mode, i don't know if it can help), and i don't know what to do...
If you have any idea... In all cases, thank your for your help.
Flash stock or fulmics will fix issue. This is due to the OTA update. LOS isn't really working to well on G6 yet.

Strangely, when i try to flash the Fulmics ROM, it doesn't resolve the issue...
I'll try with a stock ROM.
try flashing magisk too, helps patch boot
If you're stuck always rebooting into TWRP, the easiest fix is to force a reboot into TWRP (again) using the button combo. Hold Pwr + Vol down until you see the LG logo, release power for 2s (while holding vol down still) and hold both again until you're back in TWRP. After re-entering TWRP using the button combo, you'll be able to reboot to system as normal
Thanks for your help.
Actually, i've install (one more time) TWRP Recovery via the fastboot mode. And after that, i was able to reinstall LineageOS and to boot as normal.
But, if everytime i do an OTA update on LineageOS i get this issue...
Do you think that the solution is to put the update on the storage, and to flash it everytime an update is realeased ?
