Anyone working on getting Gallery3D.apk working?

This is the new Gallery from 2.1 it's really awesome. I tried installing it on my DROID but it won't install.

of course this is possible dude, this is nothing more than just a few apk's from 2.1 it's not impossible.

There are libs attached to it too jroid that may not be backwards compatible with 2.0. On alldroid there is a thread about it, but not much progress.

I manage to install talkback, soundback and kickback apk from the deodex'd apps from here with adb on a MT3G, but no luck with gallery3D. I didn't try them all so.
Hope somenone could success with the gallery3D.apk

Browser force closing Froyo OTA...fix?

I was having some force closes with the browser in this new Froyo OTA leak I think it has to do with the Flash 10.1 plugin so I went into the browser settings and changed the "Enable plug-ins" to "On demand" this seems to have helped.

This is happening to me too. I'm noticing it happen mostly when I load up the browser and hit the hardware back button when the initial page is loading.

If you installed flash 10.1 when you had android 2.1, and upgraded to 2.2 without uninstalling 10.1, you have a problem.
Try to uninstall it with Titanium backup, then reinstall the rom.
You should have no problem after this.

While I'm sure this would be a issue I do not believe that is the case here. I have the same issue after full wipe and fresh rom install.

This really wouldn't matter. The problem exists both ways still something with the leak.

I use to have this issue with 2.1. I haven't been able to duplicate the op's issue since updating to the leaked 2.2. So far the browser is rock solid.
Maybe something on your sd card, conflicting with the browser? I had similar issues with my moto droid a while back.

Having the same issue. FC when you back all the way out using the browser.
Wondering if pushing the Skyraider 1.9 browser would fix this?

I think that one is deodexed. This one is not.

I ran into this same problem, i pulled a browser from an AOSP rom and pushed it... no problems, but no sense browser, i like aosp browset better.

[Q] XOOM HK 3G MZ601 nandroid wiped

Hi everyone been using the TIAMAT 2.2.2 rom and Tiamat Odachi Kernel which are fast but have been facing lots of problems getting apps from market and it only shows a very small portion of the apps on the market. Before changing rom and kernel the Market was working perfectly and able to see loads of app and install them. I wish to know if its possible to flash back to original Motorola rom and kernel? If can how? As I cannot find the ROM for HK version from motorola dev site. Please help.

The Tiamat Settings always FC. The storage for Internal is 24G but the other 4G is missing. The SD Card is working Reading atm didn't try writing to it yet.

Anyone ? Please help or am I stuck with the Tiamat rom? The app market is not updating at all and it is not letting me install even from the web. Please advise.

[Q] ICS stock apps on HC possible?

Hi,
Is there a way/possibility to port stock apps from ICS (4.0.x) to HC (3.2.1)? I'm asking because I was just on Thor's ICS dev build and checked out the rom a little bit. E-mail 4.1 app for instance can now sync all mail in stead of only one month (tried it with Hotmail-exchange). Contacts and Calendar app look nicer too. So, I'm curious! Currently back on Thor's rom v14.2. If it's possible then a small how-to would be great.

Yes and No. It depends on the Android API level the application was compiled for.
So if the application was written only for ICS API the answer is NO. However, if it wasn't then the answer is yes.

I think I have an ICS stock apps dump on my computer somewhere, I can try to install them and see which ones install on my tablet running rooted 3.2 and let yall know.

[Q] Can't find Tabootools (A500, Taboonay 3.0.1)

I might be blind or stupid but after installing Taboonay 3.0.1 I can't find Tabootools from the program menu. Is it hidden somewhere or am I doing something wrong? Can I download Tabootools from somewhere?
I have downloaded and installed the 3.0.1 version using Acer Recovery software.

Not available on 3.01

Only available on Taboonay Honeycomb builds. It was really convenient to have around though =p

Any chance to use Huawei 3g sticks in Taboonay 3.0.1 then?
