[Q] Unable to find newer recovery to flash CM11

I have a Nook Color running CM10.2 and and I'm looking to flash CM11, but this thread says that I need an updated recovery (ClockworkMod 6.0.3.6 and newer). I can't find that version of CWM anywhere. Can anyone help me find it?

Look here for 6.0.4.7 encore CWM recover.

One is for normal recovery and the other is for ALT recovery. There are also Touch versions.

[recovery][e7] cwm 6.0.3.7 [unofficial]

This is the clockworkmod recovery ported from nexus 5. I haven't tested everything yet but things do seem to work. It uses the stock kernel.
Instructions to flash:
(Make sure you are rooted prior to this.)
1. Install Recovery Tools from above link.
2. You will get a prompt to backup your stock recovery. DO IT.
3. Download recovery file from here and copy it to your phone.
4.Select 'Flash Recovery' option.
5. Select 'from storage' and select it from your phone.
6. flash it.
You're done!

How to backup my android with the recovery ?
hello, I managed to install the recovery but I can not seem to make a backup of the system because the laptop does not have SD card port.

REQ - TWRP NandBackup of Gionee e7 Indian Stock Rom

Dear All,
As the title mentions i am looking for Gionee Stock ROM's TWRP nandroid backup or flashable zip.
I Have messed up my stock rom (Noir Z5 in Pakistan). The ROM simply doesn't boot and now i have no OS in my Phone.
So please help me out here

I've Tried Many Times. Chinese version of CWM always give me MD5 Checksum error. And other CWM (Ravikirancg Version) doesn't mount my sd card.

i have indian 32 gb backup

i have a twrp and cwm backup bt i cant upload it coz i have no good internet connection

I have the same issue. Ravikirancg Cwm version gives me mount issue and chinese recovery gives me md5 error.
Did you solve your issue in any way?

Yes, Installed TWRP and flashed the Walton Primo BD ZIP file. Its Bangladesh Version of Gionee e7. I am still looking for Indian Version though.

Get the android backup by nhs2008 in development threads
and adb md5 create and ull be bck on indian stock rom

Its normal if you use the free version of cwm. Put the ROM into your internal storage through pc

Download the latest version of CWM.. 6.0.4.9 you can find it on IMER's thread
Flash instructions:
1. Reboot into recovery
2. Flash zip package
3. Reboot recovery
That's it

[Q] formatted system by mistake,what to do now??

Hi guys need urgent help.
i updated to lollipop official rom and I formatted system with twrp by mistake.
i m able to boot into recovery.can i directly install any custom rom or official rom ,now that there is nothing in system??
Please reply or suggest if any other way to get a system installed on my phone.

first you download any rom from xda android development
remove your external sd card and connect it to the computer via micro sd adapter
copy the downloaded rom in to sd card
insert the sd card in to phone
reboot in to recovery
flash the rom instruction for flashing provided with all rom
you have rom now
