After I go Settings > Applications > Manage Applications all I can see every apps is "Computing..." and can't do anything else.
Do you know how I can fix it? I've tried to reflash Rom but after booting getting the same.
Help, please?

I fixed it. Cleaned Data and Cash from Market. But first I cleaned Cash and Dalvik cash trough CWM.
Seems like it is working now.

As I understand it is not a ROM. It is the Market 2.2.11

how many apps do you have installed? that seems crazy.. even with the latest market. Just testing it now, (and I have about 100 apps), the names come up immediately, and the icons appear in about 10 seconds. (DK28, EXT4).
Next time try go back and toggle filter all, download and u see icons and apps right away.

Noticed one more thing. I've had setInstallLocation 2 (external) and with Market 2.2.11 it was "Computing..". I couldn't update some of the apps I have. After I've changed setInsyallLocation to 0 apps installed. No more "Computing...".
Has anyone else noticed, or IS anyone else experiencing this? And is there a way to fix it? The synced pictures are fine everywhere else, however simply MISSING in the SMS threads. Thank you.

Are you using superclean? I found that I had to add back in SNS in order to get pictures back in SMS threads.

I can't seem to fix it no matter what I do, I've completely removed Facebook, as it is my main sync and the one that the pictures come from, reinstalled, re-synced a million times, still no SMS pictures in the text messaging threads. I do not get it.
Adrynalyn just posted version 2.2 of Superclean which he states has SNS added back in. I have found that the syncing of the Facebook app contacts does not work completely. In order to get facebook contact pictures, you need the integrated Facebook SNS. Again, it looks like with 2.2 that it is added back in so I suggest you download and install it and see if this fixes your problem.

NOW I gotcha, THANK YOU!
My sns don't show up in stock mms but show up in handcent or go SMS, so that works for me. By the way it seems the Facebook app is syncing contact photos as well

Yeah mine was solved by flashing SC 2.2 . Didn't wipe anything. All is well now.

That is odd, to both of you. Due to other issues, I went from scratch up to EB01 on SuperClean 2.2, and the contacts sync issues were gone. Try starting from scratch, the all-in-one fix file (DI01). That is the only thing I can recommend.
Hmmmmm. Not sure what to tell you guys except to try a complete data wipe and another Rom flash. You guys are using the integrated Facebook SNS and NOT the Facebook app for contacts syncing, right?
Sent from my SCH-I500 using Tapatalk
That did the trick (not the wipe). Had to use the one from the integrated section. I must have not been paying attention when adding the facebook account and selected the one from the 'more accounts' section instead.
Thanks brother

Would anyone be so kind as to get me the Weather Bug apk and odex files (system/app)?
Edit: Just so we're clear, I'm not referring to WeatherProvider.apk/WeatherProvider.odex.
Looking in factory, and there is no weatherbug.. Unless you are referring to the clock.

It's the ticker app which when pushed shows Weather Bug info, etc. I can't remember the exact name. What is the name for the clock you're referring to?

Samsungwidget_weatherclock.
It's the weatherbug clock you can put on your homescreens.. The icon on the ticker is a part of framework. So I'll have to look tomorrow morning to see what it's associated with.. I think it is weather provider, and but ill check and pull the files for you.. What are you trying to do?

That's the one. The framework is associated with that widget.
I was just debloating/debinging stock EC09. That was one app I accidentally deleted. It is kind of nice being unable to accidentally push it though, lol.

I'm making this post for a friend. She has a T-Mobile G2 and apparently when using sending text messages (via stock app) messages fail if the persons message is themed. Deleting Cache and resetting will help for a little while, but eventually will do it again. Text Messages sent without any custom themes are sent fine. Anyone have any ideas?
Thanks

No, this is for a friend who was having trouble, stock rom, non-rooted. I did a search and didn't find anyone with the same issue, I thought maybe someone on here would know a work around... or anyone know of a good third party messaging app that allows to have individual themes for different people?

I haven't been able to track it down yet but one of the apps messes up the rotation when it is removed.

Freezing all of them does not mess up the rotation, it isn't until the app is uninstalled completely that it messes it up.
All set! I reflashed 4.4.2 and it's working again. Thanks guys

Does anyone know which apps cause this issue? I ran my self made debloat script and lost rotation.
Any info would be great. Thanks

I think it's the SensorService 2.33 app. The one with the SHealth icon.

This had nothing to do with a virus, one of the system apps disables rotation when removed.

Is not that app, I've removed it and rotation still works. I'm hoping I can figure out which one it is today.

Yeah, I restored that apk to the priv-apps and that didn't fix my the problem. This afternoon I'm going to reflash and one-by-one delete my bloatware and see if I can find the source of the issue.
I'll report back.

I have a lot deleted already today and haven't tracked it down yet. The thing that makes it a pain is that you really need to reboot after each app for it to take effect. I've been deleting (moving them to a different folder) in batches of 5 to speed things up a little.
