Would anyone be so kind as to get me the Weather Bug apk and odex files (system/app)?
Edit: Just so we're clear, I'm not referring to WeatherProvider.apk/WeatherProvider.odex.
Looking in factory, and there is no weatherbug.. Unless you are referring to the clock.

It's the ticker app which when pushed shows Weather Bug info, etc. I can't remember the exact name. What is the name for the clock you're referring to?

Samsungwidget_weatherclock.
It's the weatherbug clock you can put on your homescreens.. The icon on the ticker is a part of framework. So I'll have to look tomorrow morning to see what it's associated with.. I think it is weather provider, and but ill check and pull the files for you.. What are you trying to do?

That's the one. The framework is associated with that widget.
I was just debloating/debinging stock EC09. That was one app I accidentally deleted. It is kind of nice being unable to accidentally push it though, lol.

This mod will bring the following changes to your CM10 Android 4.1.2 ROM:
Notification Panel:
-Bottom blue glow 'fading animation' (Like my ICS mod)
-Better carrier label text size
-Didn't give transparent this time, I think black looks beautiful
Click to collapse
Lockscreen:
-Option to chose normal lockscreen or Linkin Park lockscreen, both have AOKP weather icons (Like my ICS mod)
-Replaced some old GB spinners
-For any Linkin Park fans out there like me... =D
Click to collapse
Both the above mods are available in flashable zips. Just flash them in recovery.
Before flashing, DO HAVE A NANDROID BACKUP because most of you have very less space on /system. It may give problems...
Click to collapse
Some additional stuff I made:
Trebuchet Launcher from CM 10.1 Android 4.2.1:
What doesn't work:
-Can't change the number of homescreens
-Can't change any settings under 'Dock' settings.
If you click there, you get FC, nothing big, it still works.
Click to collapse
Everything else is just awesome: speed, the new transitions, etc.
Also, I saved 8MB of space on your system partition by trimming the original app which is 13MB in size. This one is just 5 MB.
To install, just paste in system/app and over write the old Trebuchet. You are advised to have a backup of it before replacing.
On first boot, you may face FC and think I am stupid, but NO!!! If it happens, clear data of Trebuchet from app settings.
Better if you do that before installing this one...
Nexus 4 JB 4.2 Analog Clock Widget:
I love the Nexus 4 JB 4.2 analog clock widget, so I modified Rashed's 4.1.2 ROM's DeskClock.apk and now I have that widget on this ROM.
See the attached image.
If you wanna have it, grab the apk from the link below and paste it in system/app
You have to over write the stock DeskClock.apk for this. Set permissions just like other system apps and reboot.

The linkin park lock screen is quite cool, and the glow works too! thanks! But, for some reason my weather widgets don't appear when enabled with working internet connection. Its stuck on no data - tap to refresh, and when I do tap it, a lot many times, there is no change! I'm on rashed97's Build 7! Is there something I did wrong? Because this problem persisted before flashing this too! Thanks again!

Would anyone with experience modifying apps and/or theming be willing to teach me how to make the Accuweather Widget transparent?

I don't think you can but today I used the 1weather app and after you add the widget you can customize the Opacity making it very transparent at 0%.

Under all apps it is called clock widget. Not sure what the official apk name is. It's probably the lg one that you mentioned. If you dont mind,PM me a link on the files so I can grab them or share them with me through google if you would like.
The lg clock widget definitely has references in it to quick cover. I was only able to look at it for a bit, but it had all the colors and mentions of the fancy watch faces as well. I didn't see where that would get activated though. I was going to look at lglockscreen tonight to see if there was a way in there to add more widgets. So i haven't found anything in the framework. I'm gonna see if i can get ahold of systemui or the launcher app and look into both of those. I did however create a slightly modified clock widget app for quick window. If someone would like to test for me... The only differences should be that purple is changed to green and i took out the backdrop faded 8 behind each number. I would appreciate a tester to let me know if the mods worked or not.

Any way of using the widget in nova? Or any theme for ather weather widget that looks like lg widget weather?

I think the weather widget is highly integrated in the lock screen and settings. Which is making it very difficult to use the weather app if it didn't already come in the rom. It won't deodex. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think the only way it could be used is if its reverse engineered and those dependencies are removed. Which is a pain in the ass
