if u are on stock, then u have no option but to go with pc odin.
but if you have root then install mobile odin & flash away.
mobile odin flashes mostly doesnt increment the counter / yellow triangle, but pc odin will.
For more details visit Dr.Ketan's tutorial in the dev sec.
+1 to that

FYI stock Rom does not increment the counter nor does it produce the triangle when flashed via PC Odin.

Galaxy i9500 Custom Recovery Error (Help Asap)

Hi.
When i got my i9500 i tried rooting it with a guide i found. It didn't work and i ended up flashing the phone with a stock rom, and re rooting with an updated and working guide.
Rom manager says i have two custom recoveries installed but when i try to boot into a custom recovery (CWM) it will not boot, instead it is booting straight to stock recovery. I think they may not have been removed when i flashed the stock rom.
Could someone please help by giving me instructions on how to get it working again.
Thanks for you help

Just Switch off your phone & Then press Power On+Volume up+menu button. You will go to recovery.
In the post i said that it will not boot into any of the custom recoverys that i have. Is there a way to remove them?

First of all... this question belongs to the q & a section... this is the original development section, you should not post these questions here...
As for your problem you have to flash your phone with stock firmware using odin to fully unroot your phone.

Hi,
I will have your thread moved to your device section.
Good luck!
Hi
What do you did exactly? Were you trying to flash a new Rom?
Maybe the only way to recover the device is to go to Download mode and flash a stock Rom through Odin... You'll lost root, but you'll have a tablet.
I have the t235 model, which we aren't able to root...but I have a working thing

I have actually fixed it. I'm happy that it is still alive and I didn't kill the motherboard
